  1. Past hour
  2. Its another game I expect the Bills to win. Maye did have quite a bit of success against us in Buffalo last year and looked impressive. Its another game that we need to get ahead and put pressure on the other team to be perfect. Vrabel with his Tennessee teams did give Allen a lot of trouble so hopefully he doesn't play evil genius on us.
  3. Even the Baltimore fans are saying he quit on them. So who knows. He wasn’t playing good before he got hurt anyways.
  4. One-quarter into the season, this is the worst Defense the Bills have fielded since Josh Allen's breakout year. So much is going wrong, it's almost impossible to know where to point the finger. Sean McDermott? Bobby Babich? The secondary? The pass rush? The pass rush gets no consistent pressure, despite it being the #1 priority in the offseason. Every QB has at least 3-4 seconds to scan the field. Groot has been completely invisible since signing his big contract. For every great play Joey Bosa has made, he's also had twice as many times losing outside contain and allowing an even bigger play. This may be the worst tackling unit in football. Half the time our guys completely whiff. When they do actually make contact, they immediately fall off or get dragged for an additional 3-4 yards. If the problem is us being undersized, then why are we also slow to get into position? The secondary is an absolute joke. They give every receiver 7-8 yards of space, and still leave guys wide open. Nobody can make a play to knock the ball away, including Christian Benford. I would like to believe that things will change when guys get healthy. But this defense is never fully healthy. One guy comes back, another two go down. Are we really counting on Matt Milano? And a rookie cornerback? And Ed Oliver, who is notoriously huge in one game and then disappears for the next 3-4?
  5. It’s a long season and who we are now isn’t who we will be in three months. It is the same every year. I’m making zero excuses for the offensive performance or scheme. On the other hand, you could clearly see when Josh just said “ Eff it” and take off. This team has been notorious for playing down to or below the level f bad opponents for the brunt of the McD era. I suspect as Josh, his pass catchers and Brady get on the same page, bit by bit it will get better. The D on the other hand. They are who some of us vociferously said they would be and I have zero faith in any appreciable improvement.
  6. This is the kind of nonsense that just makes me gag. It's like you have never watched NFL football before. This is not the reality of the NFL. Every game is a challenge. It is a week to week league where anything can happen. Any team can beat any other. It has been proven time and time again.
  7. I’m not sure you realize this but they too were missing starters on the o line and d line
  8. Love might put up enough numbers tonight alone to win the mvp
  9. I was just about to say our Linebackers are too small, but then I see this skinny kid make an impressive tackle for the Packers on third down. Maybe scrawny is the new stout! 🤷🏼‍♂️
  10. There are times in Buffalo's history when it seemed like the Bills played down to the level of their opponents. This might be one of those years. I'm not doom and gloom by any means. I don't think there is any reason Buffalo cand reach the bye week undefeated. They will undoubtably win their division and there is ever reason to believe they will push deep into the post season. It's just that as they have done in the past, they are letting teams hang around that they should put away early. When you do that, there is aways a chance you get a bad bonce late in the game and you end up losing. I do think the return to health of Ed Oliver and Matt Milano, along with the addition of Hoecht and Ogujobi will make this defense a lot tougher.
  11. I don't know about that, but every time Allen breaks off a huge run, I've learned to relax. That huge run followed by the Kincaid TD sealed it for me. I turned to a buddy and said 'the games over'. Whenever Allen busts a huge run, he is so dialed-in.
  12. Coleman - 22 targets, 17 catches kincaid - 18 targets, 14 catches shakir - 20 targets, 16 catches i mean, it isn’t like Kincaid and Shakir aren’t getting target share…. All three play a valuable role in the offense
  13. go trade for Tyreek Hill and let’s win the whole effin thing
  14. Oliver can make a huge difference unless he has to play hurt all year. My guess is Milano goes to IR to make room for one of the PED cheats. Hard to believe a 3rd round pick cant get on the field ahead of Solomon and Epenesa. Will be interesting to see who gets cut when Hoecht is eligible to return. Solomon plays a lot of special teams but Epenesa is also on kickoff coverage- at least today he was not sure about weeks prior. Sanders looks hopeless out there right now. If Ogenjobi isn't cut Sanders wont be dressing for game day. DT takes a long time to develop. DE not so much which is why Im more concerned about Jackson than Sanders.
  15. Agree, though I think that 4th Shakir play is great. Just can’t run it 4th and short when everyone is up at the LOS.
  16. Spags? He’s been a head coach. He went 10-38 with the Rams years ago when they were in St. Louis. It’s almost as if … you can lure them into doing it, and then wait for him or his teammates to make a mistake, which usually happens. The Bills actually do the same thing, if you haven’t noticed. The game in Baltimore last year, that was an anomaly; things just got away from us too fast.
  17. Sorry our opponents are a combined 1-13.
  18. I think he knows it's not his strong suit. He developed a boilerplate speech that he uses for wins, and it does the job. But yeah, I don't think we're not going to see him pull a Pacino in Any Given Sunday anytime soon.
  19. I mean, is it that he tripped on his pull or that he was even asked to pull on 4th and inches?
  20. He's quite possibly been the best RB in the NFL for the first month of the season. Second in rushing yards. First in rushing touchdowns. And he's probably had 4-5 shoestring tackles that prevented him from hitting another long touchdown run. I'll quickly admit my take on James Cook was wrong this offseason. I thought he peaked last year, and could be replaced without much drop-off in our team's offensive production. But he really took his game up a notch this year, going from a mostly homerun threat to one of the league's best 3-Down backs.
  21. 100% true - I was sitting in that endzone and was screaming that before the timeout. That timeout was necessary IMO
  22. He wasn't a dumpster fire at Oklahoma but he also had future number one overall pick Caleb Williams breathing down his neck As a sophomore Oklahoma he threw 28 touchdowns 7 picks in over 3,000 yards His senior season at South Carolina was 19 touchdowns 8 interceptions.. almost 69% completion 260 yards per game so he had a good season just not a lot of touchdowns
  23. What I think I saw: 1. Hated that INT Josh threw. As soon as he launched that balloon ball, my gut said INT. 2. Difference between Saints and Bills is that the Bills don't make big mistakes late. 3. Loved the TD to Kincaid 4. The second period was BRUTAL. 5. The 4th down flip to Shakir should be immediately removed from the playbook. 6. Surprised the Bills have taken the tush push out of the offense. Or seemingly so. 7. That game was significantly more stressful than it should have been. 8. Give the Saints their props. They fought hard all game. 9. Cook almost never looks like he is running and then he gets 6, 8, 10 yards a carry. 10. Glad Bishop got an INT. Thought he played well.
  24. Wouldn’t be surprised if hes gone after this season.
  25. Yeah that did seem a little strange...have had barely any rain for months in the area so it definitely wasn't from rain.
  26. That's why I'm very happy the new stadium is going to natural grass Cannot beat it and it's safer
