Excellent. This only improves the chances of 8 years of Vance after Trump's term is over.

Quarterback Career Comparison Allen vs Lamar
Buffalo Boy replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rushing TDs are roughly 2 to 1 in Josh’s Davor. This is legit surprising to me. Allen is a better qb but I do have a soft spot in my heart for Lamar. The guy has worked his tail off, proved a ton of “ experts” wrong and seems like a genuinely decent human being. -
Is it wrong to have gay friends? Trumps legacy will be a statue of him describing him as being undefeated in the Trump open at his golf course.

There’s this misconception that because the offense scored a lot of points, they were good everywhere. It’s beating a dead horse at this point but the receivers were not good. They blocked well and ran after the catch well. They were rarely open especially as they got further down the field. I think Samuel will bounce back. Moore and Palmer seem to be solid additions (I think Moore emerges as one of the people that Josh trusts most). This group is better than last year but that’s not a high bar despite the points that they scored. We shouldn’t expect a historic level of negative plays again. That will regress some. Hopefully the upgrades at WR will offset any regression. They’re still a bottom 5-8 group but have strong depth. If you ever injected a number 1 WR, the group would be good. They added a couple of guys that can get open which they did not have last year (hence all the screens). The offense should have more ways to beat you this year.

Worse yet, Thurman😡

Interesting you mention "out of principle" in siding with the owners. Why? I'm a union guy, but sometimes I think these players unions are silly. The players are basically independent contractors with their own agents, and certain positions get the big bucks. Imagine making $6 million blocking to protect a $50 million QB for example. Seems backwards lol

Availability is you best ability. I think here should be no adjustment when comparing QBs because one was injured more (or was not able to play through the injury). That is a part of what make a great player a great player. -
What's your ideal retirement location?
billsfanmiamioh replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
Without getting into too much detail, we’ve learned the hard way that life can throw you a rude awaking for some of the plans you’ve dreamt up for later in life. We’ve made the mutual decision to retire as soon as we can, and we should be able to in 13-15 years at a relatively “young” age. Doesn’t mean we’d necessarily be done working, it would just be totally on our terms (consulting, owning a business, etc) We’ll definitely be part of the split time / combo group and already have 2 in place. We’re very well established with friends and family in Columbus OH so we’ll always have something here even if it means downsizing to a condo or something. Our other main spot will be Whitefish, MT. We bought a condo there just over 4 years ago and do the Airbnb / short term rental thing. It generally pays for itself and we already get out there 4-6 times a year to ski in the winter, hike in the summer and sometimes do some work and just enjoy the small town vibes and great mom & pop small businesses in spring or fall. It’s truly a breathtaking area. We just got back from a short weekend trip and had an amazing time. We actually ran into and chatted with Lindy Ruff for the second straight summer, as he has a place there (probably much nicer than our 2 bed / 2 bath 1000 sq ft condo 😂) We will follow our son to some extent as he’s our only child so we’d get something nearby depending on where that is. Also depending on what that looks like, we’d maybe get something small in a warm/ beach climate of Florida or Carolina’s. Fun to think about it all, and no matter how it shakes out for anyone on this thread, I hope all are able to enjoy some form of their vision for a meaningful amount of time! -
Sabres Schedule released (Bills/Sabres weekends)
Bills!Win! replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Will anyone even be going to Minnesota @ Sabres? They should cancel -
I know that’s a joke but am I the only one that thinks that Von was a lot stronger and bulkier when he was with the Broncos? He always looked small when he was here
-
I am shocked, just shocked. Bruce Smith to the Redskins now this..... .
-
Actually… they really didn’t. Just over 4k in yards for JA is all you even have to look at to know the receiving wasn’t good.

The contract or the injury?

Heard ten thousand whisperin' and nobody listenin', Heard one person starve, I heard many people laughin', Heard the song of a poet who died in the gutter, Heard the sound of a clown who cried in the alley, And it's a hard, and it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Who the hell is Landon Jackson? He's just a rookie and never played a down in the NFL.
-
MJS, Pat Kirwan the previous executive and coach stated it’s a common occurrence, but they kept it away from the media to respect the rookie’s privacy. He additionally mentioned a weak front office or HC would buckle. His point was to prove a rookie that hes now a professional athlete and must act in accordance with their standard. He did NOT indicate anything about a Bills player. Im not calling the sky is falling as i hate the chicken little examples every once in awhile. My point is it was just too coincidental the next day Jackson goes on pup and never had a report during voluntary or mandatory mini camps any even slight i jury. The league mandates reporting these injuries. i don’t think it s a big deal. Maybe he just let himself go a little in the dead month. Maybe not. Im not indicting him, just stating it makes sense. This is why im not worried about it at all. Its not easy to run for example 15 gassers and have to maintain a certain time.

A lot of people thought the Bills were "saving him for the playoffs" and a 3-sack game was imminent. OK all you need is a dollar and a dream.

Quarterback Career Comparison Allen vs Lamar
Ray Stonada replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
The biggest difference is in playoff stats. Lamar to date is a regular season hero. Josh has incredible stats in the playoffs. However, Mahomes has been by far the best in league history in the playoffs. Insane stats and record. -
That’s the mark of years he’ll be playing for.
