I don't like our prospects vs Baltimore but that was never what this was about for me. The goal for me is to stay in prime contention for the #1 seed and be positioned to hit our peak toward the back half of the season. I don't see a threat to that goal. Even if we lose the Baltrimore game we have a bunch that follow that should allow us to get in a groove and stay competitive for the #1 seed. At which point, this team has a chance to develop more, get healthy, and we can see what we really have. On the back half of the schedule Keon should be even better Bosa should be better Bishop should be even better Max could end up being a starter Hoecht will be back Sanders/Jackson/Walker could all make progress. Shakir will be healthier Samuel will be healthier (or replaced by somebody who will be likely improving over the year) Palmer will be better All Pro Milano is something we haven't seen in some time

Nobody is cutting a top 40 50 corner... He's a backend guy realistically And there's probably not much of a difference than Dane Jackson who has started much more NFL games with some production and knows our defense ricks wouldn't for certain beat-out dane Jackson and ingram... Ingram is a 6'2 corner with good leaping ability who knows our system and has played well with some stats Ingram has a pick 6 for the bills ricks doesn't have one career interception yet

If he's participating, he can't go on PUP. Roster, IR, or cut. Those are the choices and you can't IR if he's not hurt.

They have the MVP. I wouldn't be too worried.

Before you go too crazy about any of this, you should visit fan sites for a bunch of different teams. You'll gain an appreciation for the difference between minor temporary issues and those "there ain't no fixin' this problems". The Bills are dealing with a bunch of minor things compared to most other teams.

As has been pointed out to me the quote in question is from now deceased professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes, a guy who was playing a role of the every man. It was a promotional bit. A role that he used to get actual everyday people to part with their hard earned money by attending his exhibitions. Professional wrestling, by their own admission is not a sport, but rather a staged exhibition. It brings to mind an H.L. Mencken quote, “Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public”.

Dude - do you watch him? He's a very good CB. He got caught in the numbers game with the Eagles. They gave him a waive to let him play/start somewhere else. I'm not saying he is dynomite - but he would be ur #2 CB and allow Max to get healthy. We'd be set. If he clears he is a Bill 100%

I honestly think he was told to tone that part down, because it went away overnight... and he filled the space with "fangirl-ing" which is annoying AF.

Look if we are going to get nitpicky, how is Walker looking at taking over a spot compared to every other rookie? Hairston was duking it out with Tre before he got hurt. Sanders is the closest and is still well behind Oliver for the spot. He's spent a lot of time on the turf Landon Jackson had some tough early preseason moments. Everyone else is depth right now. This isn't to be Debbie Downer on our rookies. I think you are going to see upgrades on a roster that was already very good by the end of the year. But for all the very real flaws I think Walker is the closest to breaking out

Maybe playing games with what constitutes a "crime"? Is a crime a complaint or a police report? Is it an indictment, a conviction? If the police arrest somebody, gather evidence, then send the case to the DA and they refuse to indict or charge the suspect is that a crime? It sounds like the only thing they can't hide or fudge is murder if only because there's a dead guy.

The Eagles just waived a really good CB today about an hour ago. Let the games begin. If he clears the waiver list... Beane on him like flies.... Eli Ricks. He's good. Better than White and Rasul. Would be a perfect #2/3 CB and surely until Max is healthy!

This is a fair response and the first and only to touch on the possibility that Dolac didn't want to come to the Bills. Good job. As I actually posted, "It's absolutely fair to question why the Bills didn't secure his services" meaning it's fair to question why they didn't draft him. Had he been drafted, he wouldn't have had a choice and I really doubt he'd have a problem with being drafted by the Bills. Does anyone think differently? As you point out, players like Buffalo Joe, Cam Lewis and JaMarcus Ingram came to the Bills because of the UB pipeline... the professional friendship that UB Football and the Bills enjoy. Not that football decisions should be based on PR but imagine also the positive effect of Dolac signing with the Bills... as opposed to Kaden Prather. This is pretty much the last time I'll say it or imply it... the Bills should have drafted Shaun Dolac. Flame away...
