Why would they release him if he’s so good? What would be their reasoning?
-
Poyer tho....
-
And yet you don't have to go.
-
The people on those sites don't usually have Poyer's steely baby blues or Rachel's....winning personality. They do tend to have terrific stamina and exemplary breath control, though.

The issue with high ankle sprains is that guys don’t usually get the 4-5 weeks off they fully need in season because more than likely teams are desperate to get them back and usually only give a couple of weeks off before pushing a guy out there at 80-90%. Shakir’s injury occurring very early in camp meant he got a month or so worth of time off which means he probably came back in proper time

Kenny Clark is a large run-stuffer, while Oliver is a quick penetrator. Both are DTs, but pretty much play a different position. -

Unfortunately, my league requires that defense and kicker be on the roster by the end of the draft. So I always take them in the last two rounds by mandate. First thing I do after the draft is drop both and add two additional players, then wait until near start of season to see if any players become IR worthy, etc, and eventually, begrudgingly, sign a kicker and defense. I'll admit: A good defense or kicker can definitely swing a week in your favor. -
Rapp continues to be one of, if not the most, underrated players on the team. Forrest looked absolutely awful in the preseason!
-
Trade two 1sts and Ed Oliver for him
-
Remember, there are 31 other teams that could sign him. Some of them can offer more money and more playing time.

I hate taking up two roster positions with a defense. There is always something available on a given week that's playing a crappy offense -- there are a lot of crappy offenses in the NFL. -
He's better than what we have. I'm hoping we sign him.
-
Pats fans seem to be upset that he was released. My guess is they asked him to take a paycut and he declined, so with his injury history and presumably a new defensive scheme they are letting him go. But we could have him for the vet minimum because of offset language in his contract so there's no risk to us. And he has the exact type of skillset you use as a chess piece with very specific packages. I don't see any kind of downside here. I doubt any team is offering him a starting job so give him our best pitch for the role he'll play on a Super Bowl contending team.

The Cure. Been around since the late 1970’s. Still tour some years, and when they do, it’s arenas.

I tend to take the same approach. Roster 2 defenses and then play them week to week based on matchups. -
Now that the 53 is set, predict the Bills win total (2025 Edition)

I went with 12 on the poll. But I would have picked 11-13 wins if that were an option. We've been either 11 wins or 13 wins since 2020 and I expect that to continue (actually just checked and we've alternated 13 and 11 each year since 2020 lol). -

If a team with +600 odds doesn’t win the Super Bowl, the coach is a loser. Odds are….we won’t win the Super Bowl Ethan. If we do win it, you be still crying and whining for the next decade. Enjoy the season like most of us will!! But we all know you won’t. -
Also, traditionally a good majority of the Big 10 teams like having their games at noon instead of at night. There will be some games at night, but most of them get their games over with first thing.
-
The Pats have released a lot of good players. But a team with a new coach who is trying to change a culture will do that.

Easy call, much better than Hamlin. The question is does Hamlin have a lifetime contract?
