  1. Past hour
  2. If we win the Superbowl this year we cannot hang a banner that says home of the super bowl champs in the new house because we won it in the old one!
  3. Yesterday
  4. I think had Cooper not come on mid season and wasn't injured, we'd have been able to do more and probably would have been more talented with him. But given what we got from him, it's hard to argue that Palmer and Moore aren't an upgrade over Cooper and Hollins. We'll still have to see what each brings us though before we can declare that truth.
  5. Can he shave 10ths off? Because the kid is slow as molasses. He plays slower than his 40 time too … imo.
  6. Coleman was just a mistake. You don’t take a wr with 4.58 speed who couldn’t separate in college at #33. You take Ladd McConkey all day every day and I was adamant about that pre draft last year. Imagine this team with Ladd on it? Coleman, I think will turn out okay/decent but pick 33 had much better options. I also loved Franklin for later in the draft and I didn’t really follow him - I think he was just okay??
  7. It's over? It hasn't even gotten started yet.
  8. Dalvin every chance he gets
  9. She's demonstrating her qualifications for a promotion to DC District Court judge to party.
  10. We've got 5 already at DT that aren't going anywhere. 6 when Ogunjobi comes back. As it is, we may have to make room for him. We spent a Top 10 pick in both Rounds 2 and 4 at DT. Gave a FA 5m guaranteed. You aren't getting any more at Defensive Tackle. We have 1T set between Jones, the passing plays that Sanders will be lined up rushing next to Oliver on, Walker, Carter they'll be playing at both - even Ogunjobi has positional flexibility, starting at Nose in College and for the Bengals. AND Hoecht also plays all over the field and has been slid inside before. You want a giant, stays in the gap focusing on stopping the run, classic space eating, Ted Washington like Nose Tackle. That's antiquated in today's passing league. It's not how the team or Beane operates. The question was asked of Beane before and after he Drafted Walker and he emphasized that's not what he's looking for. He's looking for guys who can get upfield. Guys who are versatile and can play all over the line. In Walker, you've got the best of both worlds. A 330+ mammoth that can also get upfield on running plays. In Sanders, you've got someone you can put next to Oliver on obvious passing downs and wreak havoc up the middle. This will keep Jones off the field more than last year and hopefully keep him fresh and playing at his best. Defensive Tackle is set.
  11. Every time the Bills have started to focus more on the running game they have become almost unbeatable. A few years ago after they lost to Tampa, were at 7-6 when they did so, and then ran more than any other team becoming the best running team in the league. They did not lose again. And then, after the great firing of dismal dorsey, well, just see above--almost the same exact thing, but they lost one game, the overtime game in Phili. And then last year, thankfully an entire year where the running game was sharply focused on from beginning to end. The result? Best offense in the NFL, the best offense in Bills' history, and the best year ever for our superstar QB, and his first MVP. Those are not coincidences. No way should--or will--the Bills let Cook go, the elite back they have searched for for years and someone just getting started. Beane is not dumb.
  12. I sure hope this turns out to be true.
  13. 😂 Yeah. WR is a huge factor in winning Superbowls. (Saquon as a RB, yes). But look at these other teams ranked last year. C’mon man. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2024-receiving-corps-rankings-bears-texans Edit: Link
  14. I'm curious to see how Moore and Samuel are used in the offense. Palmer, Shakir, Coleman, Samuel and Moore? Idk about you guys, but that's more talented than last season's Cooper, Shakir, rookie Coleman, Hollins and Samuel.
  15. Sharks are not “dangerous” if that is the case, flying is dangerous. People die falling when going for a walk. Nearly anything can become dangerous if the sample is big enough and the standard is any serious injury. Having said that sure, golf carts can be pretty dangerous under the wrong conditions. Most things paired with booze and shenanigans have risk which golf carts often have.
  16. I'd add strength at the catch point, to your list above, and strength playing through DB contact. Based on what I've seen, that will show itself at camp immediately. That and more quickness/explosiveness in his route "breaks". To my first point above, I saw him progressing nicely on that, then he got hurt and after his injury, he lost all that physicality. That's going to be how he wins. You said it last pre draft, and I agreed with it, that some players separate due to speed and/or route running ability. Coleman will separate with physicality through DB contact and through his breaks. Can't wait for camp. This is going to be another Cook year 1 to year 2, type of progression.
  17. Of course, or Beane is as dumb as those he is accurately calling out as such. But it will likely not come to that. it seems to violate their culture, of treating their players as men, as people. That is likely why Beane and McD have never done it. And the Bills in general almost never use the franchise tag. Just five times ever, never under Beane, and the last time was in 2016 for Cordy Glenn. Cook will get his just reward--Josh Allen will see to it. It will now all be done behind the scenes though. No way does he let Cook get away, his Thurman Thomas, and a vital piece of the puzzle that he has never had before. No Way. As you never get rid of an elite player you have been searching for for years--for a few million dollars. And now even more likely this happens--as the Bills are about to save tens of millions with their impressive group of young, skilled, (and inexpensive) defensive talent.
  18. Looked up your man Swol…. The Van Swol grift relies on having a following of people from outside WNC who have no other “local” news source, blocking any direct attempts to fact-check, and casting actual reliable sources as corrupt. It’s sickening. He’s a parasite on the community.
  19. I'd like to give both cooper and kincaid the benefit of the doubt regarding injury. I do not have elite athletic skills, but I used to be a decent golfer. I was certainly not as long as a pro, and I wasn't scratch. But I could hit it pretty good. I had lower back surgery (removed my tailbone and 1/2 of my sacrum, moved my glute muscles around to deal with that) and looking at me, you'd never know. I'm essentially the same guy. Nobody can tell. But I can. I have the same swing, but I've lost 30 yards of distance off the tee, and it isn't just age. My rounds under 80 are not common now. Occasional, not regular. My point is that people have no idea what an injury can do to an athlete. My swing changes are minor to the untrained eye. Imagine an elite athlete dealing with an injury that impacts their training and what they do. Your brain thinks your body can do what it used to, but somehow your body just doesn't respond. Fans like us can't see the difference. But players can feel it and it is a real thing. I expect Kincaid to bounce back after he fully heals. Cooper isn't the same story. He's older, and just won't bounce back. Don't underestimate the impact of a lower body injury on an elite athlete. Kincaid will be fine.
  20. The value of these "programs" lies with their capacity to keep democratic party foot soldiers gainfully employed between election cycles. They get activated every two years to support party candidates and when the election is over, go back to work on some worthless study or initiative. No more I guess.
  21. Oh those crazy judges. Judge Releases Suspected Tesla Firebomber Citing Lack of Access to ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ Owen McIntire, a 19-year-old student (they're always college students) from Missouri, was arrested for allegedly firebombing a Tesla dealership in Kansas City on March 17. President Trump said that these attacks would be considered domestic terrorism, and McIntire faces 20 years behind bars. He's not behind bars now, though, because a judge has ruled that McIntire has medical conditions such as gender dysphoria, and he wouldn't be able to continue his "gender-affirming care" in prison. https://twitchy.com/brettt/2025/05/01/judge-releases-suspected-tesla-firebomber-citing-lack-of-access-to-gender-affirming-care-n2412231
  22. Talib has the best mustache !
  23. Not a popular choice, but I would go with "Starry Starry Night," from Don McLean. Crafty references to Van Goghs's work. Just a tremendously written song, For pure listening, I'd go with "Boys of Summer" from Don Henley.
  24. So sorry to hear. I couldn’t make it through the song….
  25. The local people would feed the deer and they were basically tame. They had signs saying don't feed the wildlife. One woman would take a wagon out on the trails and scatter food for them. They caught her several times and fined her. They finally had to lock her up for a month or so to get her to stop. I was walking down one of the trails once in the winter and a doe and fawn passed by me at a distance of maybe 10 feet. They were close enough to smell them. They looked at me and just kept on strolling by.
