  1. Past hour
  2. Oliver? He was beast in the game he played. Him and Bosa looked like a good combo
  3. For sure Josh is the best player. Cook is the second best player (and he is better than just "good" that is established by now) there is a significant gap after them. I wouldn't have hated on them rolling Josh out there. I can't hate on them giving Cook the ball there. Either of those play calls were totally reasonable. The Dolphins made a play. It happens. It is resulting to claim it was a stupid play call.
  4. Would McDermott be wrong on waisting a challenge when we need them later. Part of challenging is understanding the necessity in the moment of the game. Momentum shifts and crucial plays.
  5. That’s not “obstructed view” seating.
  6. Are you watching the games? Codrington has all the returns so far for kickoffs and punts. He hasn’t lost any fumbles and absorbs high speed killer hits. He’s averaging 30 yds on kickoff returns and that usually means we’re starting drives between the 35 and 40 yd line. He’s had a couple of run backs that got to around midfield. Who do you want fielding kicks an untried, untested young player who can wreck games with a fumble or a decision when to come out of the end zone or let a punt go in to the end zone?
  7. Strong has played better than I thought. I would be curious if they move him to safety after Hairston returns. He's a very heady player and the type that I think would excel at Safety. How good is that draft class going to look at the bottom of it. With Strong, Walker and Hawes. Now we need Landon Jackson and Hairston to step into their roles.
  8. I would cut most most of you and only keep those that agree with my posts, sign of the time..replace with strippers...sign of the times
  9. I never mentioned Hamlin so I’m assuming I was quoted incorrectly. I also pointed out that McDermott didn’t trust Codrington enough in important games last year and preferred to have Shakir return over him late in the season and in the playoff last year while he sat as an inactive player. I gave perfectly good reasoning for why Codrington could be gone. It’s play GM for the say and what you would do. I’d make Shakir the full time returner like he was for the entire 2nd half of the season last year
  10. This is difficult to impossible. I can’t play GM based on what I know today, because I don’t know what the GM knows. Beane knows more than we do, that’s just a fact. He may not always be right (especially according to some here), but he knows more about injury situations and player preparedness than we do. How long is Hairston really looking at from a health perspective. If 100% healthy tomorrow, how ready is he to actually help? How long is Milano realistically expected to miss? What would we like to do against our upcoming opponents? There is so much we don’t know. I know we all want to be smarter than our GM, but we are not. I promise you don’t want me as our GM, and I’ll go ahead and say I like our odds better with Beane than with the rank and file here.
  11. I know how excited everyone is to read it and have it around the house as a coffee table book so I thought it might be good to start a thread. I know billstime/highlander is fond of saying “there’s always a thread” but I didn’t see a thread. Anyway it seems like the book has a healthy dose of humor.
  12. For the people who say trade Epenesa, Joey Bosa played 87% of snaps against Miami. That is insane. They went to a 3 man rotation with Bosa, Rousseau and Epenesa. I get that Solomon is a ST guy, but if he can’t be trusted to play DE snaps in Year 2, not sure what we’re doing here. Dont think we cut him, because he’s only in his second year, but definitely see him as inactive. That 3 man DE rotation needs to become a 4 man DE rotation when Hoecht comes back. Ogunjobi, imo, is insurance given two of our DT’s are rookies… one with coming off a back injury. I’d keep him around, even if inactive, in case of injury, lack of early development for TJ or hitting a rookie wall. If nothing changes between now and then… Codrington, Ingram, Franklin and Samuel seem like realistic options for Hoecht, Ogunjobi and Hairston.. then Lundt gets cut and hopefully stashed when Grable comes back. Samuel is someone I think the Bills hold onto while letting the league know he’s available for trade.. especially with how comfortable Elijah Moore looks in this Offense and Shavers starting to show he can be counted on to block and make some catches.
  13. I would not describe McDermott or his pressers in those terms. Is he guilty of coachspeak: very much so. But milquetoast, no.
  14. Josh Allen is the Bills best skill position by a mile, your opinion is that in that situation you take the ball out of his hands and give it to Cook and any one who thinks otherwise, is thinking nonsense. Josh Allen is a first ballot HOFer, James Cook is a good running back that benefits from playing in an offense with Allen. Defenses can’t just focus on the run, if they do Allen will kill them. Allen’s presence opens things up for Cook. If the Bills score there and go up two TDs on Miami the rest of the game is goes differently.
  15. Could be because you don't have Hyde and Poyer behind them to cover up issues in front of them.
  16. It's hilarious because that's the one part of the game my wife watched. She wasn't paying that much attention and all the sudden they just talk about him beating up women?
  17. IDK. It would have been fun to see him pull in the int and rumble down the field.
  18. If the Bills start IR'ing players who aren't hurt or keeping them on IR when healthy there will be many posts about needing to Fire Beane in the off-season for breaking rules and costing us to lose a draft pick or picks. The NFLPA would immediately jump in and scream infraction.
  19. I do appreciate the Amazon broadcast going out of their way, after Hill made a couple of good plays, to point out what a terrible person he is and talk about all the domestic violence charges against him. Thank you, Kirk and Al. From my buddy's tailgate party Thursday...
  20. Did anyone stay up to watch Chicken Wing Roulette on Amazon Prime after the game? Hilarious. Fitz had the hottest wing and he was literally crying and choking. Then Gonzalez got a hot one and was basically cursing, pouring milk all down the front of his face and shirt. It was worth staying up for.
