  2. another man was assaulted before he first pepper sprayed and then stabbed his assailant who was acting erratically. that assailant has now been arrested. those are the details so far. Imagine you are nearly 70 and working nights driving a grease truck, making you rounds to the back alleys of restaurants and you have to also deal with drunk washed up former athletes while you'r just trying to take away the restaurants dirty frying oil.....
  3. If I'm the guy this piss ant wishes dead I'd drive over to his house knock on the door and tell this twerp to come out and then thunderdome his ass.
  4. They'll figure it out... Learning another language ain't rocket science. IMO, English adapts probably the best to other languages. The Anglo speaking world has that going for them.
  5. Agreed, but that's a bit vague. I would say the offense is demonstrably better across the board, but I don't think that's the case with the defense. As always, it's the matchups that matter. Is the Bills offense enough better than the Pats defense to overcome the narrower (or non-existent) disparity between the Pats offense and Bills defense, all else being more or less equal? (Not that it is; watch out for the Pats' return game and their penchant for fumbling.) I think we need to prepare for another nail-biting game where the Bills run the ball and throw short passes, the defense repeatedly gives up yards, third downs, and points, and the score stays close until the end, when the Bills cash in on all that running and pull away against a tired Pats defense. So far, it's been a winning formula. Keep your Porsche in the garage for the milk runs and all that. But, yes, by all means the Pats could win this game. The "winning formula" doesn't work if the Bills offense turns the ball over more than once, the receivers drop the ball in critical situations, and special teams poops the bed. I can just see Maye leisurely pat the ball while we tear our hair out before lofting a TD over Tre's head. And Brady running the ball on second down all game for no gain while we scream for play action. And the secondary bouncing off the Henderson, who has his breakout game. Down two scores, the Porsche comes out and does its thing, but by then it's anyone's game. On the other hand, maybe finally--finally--the Bills will blow somebody out. Wouldn't that be nice?
  6. Go Bills!!! It’s a whiteout game in Buffalo vs. the Pats*!!!!! Time for the Bills to plow them under!!! Thread set to automatically open at 8:19 PM and will close during halftime. Go Bills!!!!!
  7. Thank You. Going to & from Puerto Rico is like going to & from Indiana, we're all American citizens. I NOT sure what people have against American citizens doing the Halftime at the SuperBowl.
  8. The subject of this thread reminds me of a former columnist for the Wall Street Journal who every now and then would write a column called "Questions Nobody is Asking"
  9. Depends on who has them. I live in one of the highest gun ownership per capita areas in the nation and it is very safe.
  10. Would Kirk support trumps actions regarding his AI post after his meetjng with minority congressional reps? Simple question. Additional question, do you.?
  11. They arrested Mark Sanchez. Pretty bizarre. Maybe he’s not innocent in all of this. If a guy that size came after me idk… at 38 you shouldn’t be getting yourself in these situations
  12. I salute your bravery to chase the attacker, in my younger days I would have done the same. However, it’s just not worth it nowadays, you don’t know what someone else is carrying and nothing is worth risking my kids growing up without a father. I live in the Uk btw, so you guys in America don’t have a monopoly on violent crime. I don’t wear a nice watch when I go to work in London anymore, knife crime is out of control in some areas, I hate to think the state that the country would be in if we had guns too
  13. putting the PSL cost aside, are the new stadium game ticket prices comparable to what game ticket prices are today (for similar seats, of course) ? any insight to share on this?? thanks
  14. K, if we are talking about the same Stetson, they are not central FL, but St. Petersburg south of Clearwater. They actually have a great Law School. I’m glad you mentioned it, as I might drive down 40 minutes and catch a game. I always liked Jasper, but his feet were just too slow on the O Line and D Line. It sounds cool to have a 400+ lbs. Guy on the line, but they also need speed and athleticism.
  15. I hope all stabbed people are doing better today.
  16. I don’t know the details so I’ll just wish he and his family the best, and the jokes btw aren’t funny. A man was stabbed. Whether he fumbled a lot or not, he’s still a human being.
  17. Now we’re rolling! Allen’s recent sit down
  18. Today
  19. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  20. It sure does appear that The Crimson Tide has itself a quarterback in Ty Simpson!!! Heisman finalist perhaps?
  21. All I can come up with is Arizona Iced Tea. That’ll probably change when the owner dies or retires though.
  22. That’s a fact. I was at a traffic light in Clermont, FL where two guys were raging and arguing. One got out and put about five rounds in the other’s car. Crazy and stupid. Most likely. Knives are more dangerous than many think. Two decades ago I was outside a bar smoking with some random chick. A dude grabbed her purse and took off, I chased him and grabbed it, and he turned around and stabbed me in the gut. MD at the ER told me that if I didn’t have mesh in my abdomen from a previous surgery the stab wound probably would have been fatal.
