Read the Bible, tell people you do, and act like an a-hole on the internet. Whatever works for you. When you pray, go into your private room, close the door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. or tell internet strangers about how often you read the Bible.

Totally agree with this. Most of the “50/50” balls sent Keon’s way this year have been setting him up for failure. As the poster you were responding to said, he’s good at climbing the ladder. But from memory I can’t think of a throw where Allen put it up high and gave Coleman a chance to box out and get the rebound. They’ve mostly been low trajectory and arriving somewhere between hips and shoulders.

Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.

I'm less interested in math than football. He spent the entire game disrupting multiple aspects of their offense, throwing Texan Olinemen all over the place and then made two key plays on 3rd down in the 4th qrtr that forced punts and actually gave the Bills a chance to win. And if you want to play the silly math game that you're trying to manipulate to make a terribly inaccurate point, ESPN has him listed #1 on the defense with 6 tackles. He played outstanding football all night long and there is no massaging of statistics designed to advance an agenda that can alter that fact. -
Better than reading it and supporting the BS that you prefer.

Hard to run a 2-5 with our LB crew! But I agree this is a good time to break out the McD dime package which we used against KC. Dorian Williams delayed rush Benford blitz from the blindside with Hairston waiting to pick up his man Stuff like that

People act like that should have been a given superbowl and yes its probably the 1 out of 4 they should have won especially with them playing Hostetler instead of Simms but people forget that the Bills and Giants actually played earlier that season and the Bills only won that game 17-13. The Giants had a good game plan for the Bills in the regular season and giving Parcells and Belichick an extra week plus the Giants offense putting up more than 13 was the difference between the Super Bowl and the regular season game.

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)
finn replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
It didn't hurt their effort that Brady, in his wisdom, declined to order up more protection, which was like putting out an "Open season on Josh Allen" sign to this defense. Adapting on the fly is not one of Brady's strengths. (Remind me: What are his strengths again?) -
I'm going with a reading HOAX.

And with all of this no one will be shocked if we lose tomorrow because of coaching -

We have the best run offense in the league, a top 5 overall offense, and the best pass defense in the league. We're an 8-4 team playing against a 4-8 team at home. We have a QB that has played at MVP level far more recently than the opposing QB that hasn't been healthy in 3 years. The bengals have like the worst defense in the league. We should be favored, and the only reason we're not favored by double digits is due to our injuries and lack of consistency. I wish we were better this year, but we are still a good team. -
When explanations make no sense When every answer's wrong You're fighting with lost confidence All expectations gone The time has come to make or break Move on, don't hesitate Breakout

Yes, Allen doesn't get enough blame for his part on missed throws. Although he's done miracles with his accuracy overall, he's still no Brady or Marino, whose ball placement were things of beauty. I wouldn't say Allen is inaccurate by any means, but his strengths lie elsewhere. What I don't get is why his receivers can't get open even when Allen buys them enormous amounts of time. You see them out there running INTO coverage or just jogging around aimlessly. How hard can it be to run to the open field or come back to your quarterback or just sprint upfield?

Oh, I'm frustrated by the overall offensive philosophy. Like you say, we have a generational talent at QB...yet we are the only team in the NFL to run the ball more than we throw it. We need a good running game, but it's just too much. And that's inexcusable with Josh. Now, it's debatable why that is. Is it because McD wants a ball control offense and to protect Josh's longevity in the league? Is it simply because Beane has failed to gather a quality WR room? Has Beane not bothered spending a ton at WR because he knows what type of offense McD wants to run and it's wasted resources if you're not going to use it? I don't know, but I tend to lean towards its McD and the type of offense he wants to run. Even with that reason, Beane has failed the WR room. It's still a good O, but it's not a scary one - and it should be scary with Allen at QB.

That's funny. I don't think the postal service allows fake return addresses anymore, or doesn't deliver if they catch it. Whenever I used to mail friends gag gifts I would make out the return address as: Hulk Hogan 1 Big Legdrop Avenue Venice Beach, CA 50187 A recent package didn't get delivered to my friend. Also, it might be because Terry is dead, ya dig?

I don't mean the tush-push runs, or the scramble plays that come naturally during the game.....I'm talking about the QB sweeps and counters that usually lead to 3 to 5 yards, and 3 to 5 Defensive players taking big shots on Allen. I know he's able to absorb a lot of these hits, and they don't really faze him, but it would be nice to be able to save those plays for the Playoffs. This is why you don't lose games to sorry teams like the Falcons and Fins....they could be 10-2 and a lock to make the Playoffs....and putting their Franchise QB at risk could be saved until January instead of starting in late November.
