  1. Past hour
  2. Unless we haven’t secured a playoff spot no way I’m playing him till January. No way. If we can’t beat the Browns and Jets without him…. This is getting ridiculous Also, I added Boutte in fantasy this week and I’m probably playing him in light of this news. This regular season can’t end fast enough. It’s now 4 straight years of injuries significantly derailing a season. Oliver, Hoecht, Max, Rapp, CB, Bernard, Kincaid, Brown, Milano, Palmer, Bass - all missing enough to significant enough time.
  3. This sounds like AI but you know what I buy it
  4. At least the Bills staff hasn’t punctured anyone’s lungs, so we got that going for us.
  5. Steelers team doctor... Seriously, though. Watt needs to get better soon. They have to take that division.
  6. This is what happens when American foreign policy becomes America alone.
  7. Oliver was stepped on by a teammate and Benford seems to be a soft tissue injury. Both can easily happen with or without pads. I think the main issue is that guys just aren't playing enough football. Not that they need more games or need my physical practices. But these guys are barely in the facility. They could/should be running routes vs air, working on sleds, etc. much more than they currently do in the offseason.
  8. T, agreed, but also the RBs as dump off receivers as they are better in space than even the WRs. If we can get Palmer healthy, a combo of him Cooks, Davis, and Shakir as the slot, with the TE (any of the three, don’t be predictable Brady can make noise. Hawes has proven he can be a 5 yard drop off, Knox can easily handle a 7-10 yard short pass over the middle, and Kinkaid can be a target anywhere. We pretty much can’t do anything about WR until next year, and we don’t have the $ for a free agent acquisition, but we can make a dent in the draft with a WR at the top and a DL in the second round.
  9. That’s how I feel about the Patriots.
  10. If he can go, play him, we want this game, it would help to get this Dub going forward. We lose, we're out of it for division and the seeds have less relevancy. Plenty of time tor rest after this week. I may be crazy, but I'm not willing to sacrifice the division or momentum yet. Get the W and we need to him to get it!!!!!
  11. Looks like Bernard will be out again this week, but potentially on track to return next week. It will be very interesting to see how they handle his return. He is the 2nd Captain with a long-term extension that hasn't kicked in yet. By any objective measure, Shaq and the D have performed much better in his absences. Will be something to monitor down the stretch for sure.
  12. If you were forced to, would you be able to share a contribution of yours that did not reinforce your priors?
  13. You're 100% on Shaq. He should be in for early downs / Bernard in obvious passing situations at a minimum. Bernard is a better blitzer and much better in coverage. There were so many plays we had defended against Cinci last week --- I'm thinking of the deep dig Burrow hit to Higgins in our territory. We blitzed, Max played it perfect with outside leverage (knowing Shaq was dropping to take away the dig), however Shaq got too "wide" and let Higgins inside him. Horrible peripherals on that play. Many more examples to choose from --- close to the LOS is where Shaq belongs on early downs.
  14. When you make deals down by the crossroads the devil comes for his due!
  15. I know right! Just have them stretch, get medical attention, have meetings and then go rest!
  16. They haven't wrapped up a playoff spot yet.
  17. He sounded so dejected after the Bills game. No i hope he heals up, amd get ready for next year as this one is over.
  18. I think Burrow always seemed immature. It’s just increasingly concerning considering he’s close to thirty. We’re incredibly fortunate to have someone with the personality of Josh Allen.
  19. Again, why should I care? It's not my kids being exposed to this in school. - teef
  20. I heard it this morning. You probably heard the psych warfare they are pulling on us. Who cares. I still feel like we can do it. We’ll find out Sunday. I did think it was funny when Vrabel pulled the trick Belicheck usually pulls on other, on him. He's a good coach. We now have a real competitor as the Fish and Jet’s have never been real competition. These Pats look like tigers, but another two drafts and free agency, and they will be a formidable adversary. I can respect and still hate them.
  21. Bubble wrap till January
  22. But the front office just cant seem to evaluate WR.
  23. Cossell has an axe to grind with Buffalo. He’s been saying this exactly for several years and while perhaps true at one time, this year the facts don’t support his claims as many other posters have already noted. Of course, nuanced takes are not really the primary objective of football pundits these days — or a large number of Bills fans it seems.
