I agree these are all very good receivers and I would love to have any one of them on the Bills, but I would not call any of them real game changers. Since the original topic was not about receivers, I would add James Cook to the list as a great 2nd round pick that I'm sure most other teams wish they had made. If you look at the various lists of the top 50 players, it is littered with top 10 picks and the occassional mid-low round pick that just breaks out. My real point is that many people just look at the hits that other GM's have made and totally ignore their misses when evaluating Beane. Yes, he has made mistakes and had some busts, but so does every other GM in the league. That said, you be you and just keep focusing on the Elams & Colemans and ignore the Cooks, Browns & Benfords.

An Observation during broadcast of Bills/Bengals

Dennis Lock, who's photo doesn't appear on the team website near as I can tell, is "Vice President of Football Research". Maybe you spotted Cole Jacobson, football analytics guy late of the University of Pennsylvania, who is a "Football Research Assistant" for the Bills? -
I was down on him after his slow start to the season but I am glad I was wrong. I do think a healthy Bosa and and a healthy Oliver are arguably as good or close to being as good as CB 47 is.

The guy with the binoculars is charged with keeping an eye on the Niagara Falls skyline. If he sees it, he tells the director that the obligatory shot of the Falls is a 'go'. * 🤔😉 Used to be players and coaches. Now it's twenty something young women. -

There’s something different about McD this season…

I think for a lot of McDermott fans, it would take them not making the playoffs for at least one season, probably 2. (If someone is a big McDermott supporter, correct me if I'm wrong of course) As the argument is always "it could always be worse and the grass isn't always greener". -

Need consistency. - staying on the field, & needs more use/targets when out there. -

Taron Johnson’s was amazing, although I also liked this Nate Odomes one against the Raiders in 1990. First game I ever went to. -
Cam Lewis has been abused for his poor play in that game, but he had at least one brilliant pass breakup. Hairston almost had one, too, getting his arm between Higgins' outstretched arms but not quite sweeping down in time to knock the ball away. There was one other similar play, forgot by who. It looked like the Burrow and Higgins were playing pitch and catch, but a closer look shows the secondary played quite well overall. Similarly, the pass rush played better than it seemed. Burrow gets the ball out so fast that you just can't get there in time. Better to get your hands up, as they started doing in the second half. That's a hell of a quarterback. I would take him second only to Allen. (And would take Stafford, Maye, Lamar, Prescott, and even Mayfield over this season's version of Mahomes, whose play is starting to match his demeanor.)

I think we need to focus on our TE like we did on Sunday. Do not under estimate Jackson Hawes, he has a 73% catching rate with 3 TD's. He seems to smell an opening on the field. -
My Main Man Matt Milano. Pick 6 in the 2022 season opener to bury the titans after years of them humiliating us. I took my wife to her first ever Bills game. For over a decade she never understood why Western NY was so obsessed and crazed about the Bills. We were on tv during the touchdown celebration. She says It was that moment that finally made her a true bills fan and because of that he is our favorite player. It’ll be sad to see him gone next year. My heart says he has one more game changing play in him this year.

Micha Hyde in the "perfect game" vs the Pats. -
The playoff win off of that game makes this the most important pick 6 in Bills history to send us to the AFCC.
-
Don't want him going up against the likes of the Eagles 365 pound Jordan Malaita [Week 16] before playoffs. Too much chance of reinjury. Has Ed outweighed by 80 pounds.

That was the first Bills game I was at! Tony Greene intercepts 2 yards deep in the end zone on the last play of the game and runs 102 yards for the touchdown. Bills beat the Chiefs 50-17!

Darryl Talley. 1990 AFC Championship. Had seasons tix back then. Part of the tidal wave that buried the Raiders. I remember looking up at the scoreboard at halftime realizing we were going to the big dance. Awesome day I'll never forget. -
I agree. Diggs is one of the best talents at WR in the last 25 years. I'll stand on that. His grit and willpower are what make it so. When he wants to play he will play. If you feed him the ball he will eat you alive. I fully expect the Patriots to feed him time and time again. If I'm the Bills defensive mind I coach them to lay hits on him every single time he touches the ball. Knock the snot out of him. I want to see snot bubbles coming out of his nose. Put the women and kids to bed and let's go looking for dinner. I don't want him injured. I want him hurt. Joe Cain for Heisman!

He was a projected anywhere from the late first to an early 3rd round pick, and the Patriots were planning to take him right after us. Stop trying to rewrite history.

Win division, >1% Make playoffs: 90% Miss playoffs: 23% 😁 (not sure why it was necessary to have a miss playoffs option) I don't believe the Bills' team is as good as it has been in the previous years going into the playoffs. On the plus side, Josh is more experienced at reading defenses and has made improvements in his passing game. On the down side....I think the Patriots are for real and they'll smoke the Bills Sunday on their home field. Here we go again.
