  2. Spotrac has the deal as 4 year for $46 million with a $9 million bonus at signing.
  3. I'm chill like Dobie Gillis, though sorry if that came through harsh. I wasn't looking to offer emotional accusations, I'm always troubled when certain posters on the board accuse people of being in cults, of cultish behavior, or cult-like mindsets because of fundamental disagreements on politics. I'm certainly not suggesting that was you, Andrew🤔, this whole accusations of being in a cult thing, but I understand where you're coming from. In response to your question, I think Trump sees the opportunity to score political points by cleaning up the nation's Capitol. Violence in cities is not a new thing, this is true. I feel like data suggests that DC is not just some city dealing with random skater bois spraypainting business, I think it's worse than that by quite a bit. With regard to precedent, I did some quick research and cannot find a time where an administration sent the DOJ on an armed raid on the dwelling of the opposition in relation to a a former C-i-C holding classified documents. I know there was a candidate just prior who was exceptionally careless with our nation's secret who was treated differently, and a short time after the armed raid at the former president's residence the current president was found have absconded with material and data pilfered over several decades, and of sharing secrets with a ghost writer who subsequently destroyed material potentially germane to the investigation. That president was treated to ice cream at his favorite ice cream store. I also know there isn't a ton of precedence in one admin looking to imprison an opponent for actions that seem to be pretty common in Washington. Hell, it's been said Bush fabricated intelligence to engage in a foreign war, Clinton committed perjury (and engaged in predation) and they're thick as thieves these days. One guy paints at his ranch in Texas, the other guy most recently stumped for Harris. With respect to precedence, I know that post 1/6, the FBI/DOJ scoured the earth and spent extraordinary time and money looking for people--some they absolutely needed to find, some basically guilty of trespassing. I'm not certain that's the standard in cities and towns across the country. Your suggestion about meeting with city leaders is all well and good, but that represents a stylistic approach he simply doesn't prefer to take. Besides, city leaders seem to be the problem.
  4. lol I love that they were interviewing him on ESPN in 2015 about his status on contract with the Bills.. and then the Bills literally traded for McCoy mid interview and yea his time was toast hahaha
  5. Sure you are not projecting? You were the one proclaiming disaster if we stood by Ukraine, while I thought we should be doing much more. You agree with that, right?
  6. Story of Shemar Stewarts career, getting close to a Quarterback but never getting a sack. Also if the Bengals defense is getting the better of any offense then uh oh. I know they have some talent on their Dline but come on.
  7. To be fair, even a lot of HOF head coaches only have .500 career playoff records or worse. Tony Dungy has a 9-10 playoff record and he had Peyton Manning for a lot of that. Andy Reid's playoff record before winning his first Super Bowl was 12-14. Bill Cowher is 12-9. Marty Schottenheimer was 5-13. John Harbaugh is 13-11. Getting to and winning the Super Bowl is hard. You not only have to have a great coach that knows what he is doing, you also have to have some luck on your side. It's not a walk in the park
  8. At first I was like of course they'd let him play vs the Chargers, Eagles, and Ravens in their first 4 weeks but then I looked at their whole schedule and thats a damn tough schedule especially with the improvements that the Chargers and Broncos particularly made and the Raiders always seems to give them trouble in 1/2 divisional games a year. Of course most of the tough games are at home though so we shall see.
  9. It's not about production. Its about the use. He did not get a single snap with the Bills down 3 points and over 3:30 to go in the AFC championship. His last touch was with 9 minutes in the game. Decisions like that make it odd you are willing to pay this type of contract. I am all for limiting snaps, but that should not be in the most important parts of the most important games. As I said, its not about Cook being good enough to deserve this type of contract its the value of the contract with his use. Because of how the Bills used he only had 1200 total yards last year. They are winning games because Allen is on the field 100% of the time not because of Cook's snaps. Yes he helps but replacing him cheaper would not drastically change the Bills ability to win.
  10. Ralph didn't get 430M in revenue sharing each year though. Also wondering if McAfee asked Beane about his wizard skills.
  11. I agree with you that to this point that Bishop has been disappointing mostly due to injury and not being able to overtake Hamlin last year as a rookie but a lot of that has to do with system. I hope he takes the leap as I was incredibly high on him coming out of the draft and believe that he has a great deal of potential. A future Bishop/Hancock tandem would be awesome for the next decade and makes a lot of sense in the SS/FS fit more than Rapp/Bishop. I think that might be the idea to be honest as Rapp is on an easily manageable contract after this year where the Bills would save close to 3.5 million while taking on only a 600,000 cap hit. As for Hairston I don't think anyone could make any opinion on his career to this point though its not great that he got hurt and will miss a lot of reps much like Bishop did last year. I think it is arguable whether Hairston should have been a first round pick. I think he should have been. He has the ability to play both man and zone coverage which is a very valuable trait to the Bills right now. Add in the fact that the Bills had to get extremely more athletic in their secondary and it led to Hairston being the pick with a big need to boot. Good news is they drafted Dorian Strong as well who has looked very solid as a rookie and they have Hancock and brought in quite a bit of insurance in White/Jackson. How good will they be, who knows but the Bills did protect themselves at least in the short team.
  12. Would you say he's he not involved enough?
  13. Did Ray also kick a 50 yard field goal? If not, it you have to dream much bigger! 😉
  14. Lol.. instead of the same old comments, let's spin this thread into a social commentary on the decreasing math skills in the US!!!
  15. I'm retired and bought a 2021 Nissan Altima for cash last year. Still got years of $ in my 401 K that I haven't touched yet.
  16. I would have fired him last year. Hope Miami extends him for 10 years
  17. https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/10/business/restaurants-food-costs-consumer-spending The prices of other restaurant staples like coffee, eggs and cocoa have also ratcheted higher at various points this year. In June, food costs overall were up about 21% compared to the same month four years earlier, according to the Producer Price Index, which tracks the prices that businesses, including restaurants, pay their suppliers. The rise in food costs outpaced the 17.5% increase in wholesale prices across the board during the same period.
  18. Tell us you've never seen another fan's forum, without telling us you've never seen another fan's forum.
  19. So she’s like Trump, but on a smaller and more secretive scale?
  20. Rashee Rice hearing will be Sept 30th. So he gets to play in the Chiefs first four games, then is likely suspended. I expect a 4-game suspension with him set to return in week 9....vs. Buffalo.
  21. Let’s start with, and implement before anyone talks about territorial concessions, the “severe consequences” that Trump mentioned today. Once we see what they are, we can talk about enhancements. Is this a rule 1 or rule 2 situation from back in the day? I believe it is.
  22. It's probably because Spags had a disaster run as a HC...but you're right that there have been other coaches with bad first runs who have gotten a second shot. I think Allen's actually done really well against his defenses in the playoffs overall though, the last 2 years against top defenses. We just can't have even a half-decent defensive game against what's been their mediocre offense the last 2 years. But it's harder, anyone who watches those games knows how much more of a grind it was to move the ball against their defenses than the Swiss cheese we're presenting to Mahomes.
  23. I could. I just wouldn’t want one. Not my style.
  24. I predict an ugly season for Miami and McDaniels. Fired at the end of the year. Possibly during the year if it gets ugly and he’s “lost the locker room”
  25. Not sure how they are coming up with their information for the graphic... the guys listed are about half a billion short.
  26. The Jets have played the Bills tough at MetLife in recent seasons. Even in the Bills 23-20 win last year there the Jets missed 2 FG's and an extra point. I would expect the Bills will have another tough game with them when they go there in week 2.
