Global warming err Climate change HOAX
JFKjr replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
On top of that, even if the Climate Change people reach their "goal" it still has a statistically negligible impact, if any. It's all about money and control. -
I think it was someone from the Browns organization. Because he couldn't hit the target.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?
SCBills replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
From all reports out of practices, the Bills are going to be running a more aggressive/attacking Defense. Bend, don’t break works against bad/mediocre QB play, but gets shredded by Burrow and Mahomes. Notice I didn’t say Lamar, because as much as the media wants to force it down our throats, he’s not the surgeon Burrow, Allen and Mahomes are in the pocket. Which is why our defense stands a chance against him in big moments. That, along with his tendency to make a few mistakes in big games. We can say “well, we haven’t been healthy”… ok for 4-5 years this has been an issue in the playoffs and we keep rostering injury prone guys like Rapp, Bishop, Milano, Bernard, Johnson.. add Benford to the list if he doesn’t have a clean year. So either change the identity or keep banging your head against the wall. I’ll withhold judgment until I see this team, with its new investments and supposed new identity. But I’m running out of patience if it’s the same ish, different year. -
Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?
Gregg replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
They padded their stats against bad teams with bad QBs. Whenever they played a good offense with a good QB they got exposed. We see it every year especially in the playoffs. It is the main reason they haven't reached the Super Bowl. -

I never bet on preseason games, but I’m thinking about pounding the Bills this week. McDermott is going to want to quiet all the chatter.

This is what makes Caleb Downs (Ohio State) such an amazing player is that he basically does everything at such a plus level. I’m probably most impressed at how he almost NEVER misses a tackle in space on anyone. Can’t wait to see how he does in the pros. Baring disaster for our season or his health, we have no chance at him, but what a perfect fit.

What are you talking about. Beane more often than not has a top 10 defenses in terms of yards and points. In 2021 they were #1 in points and yards (top 5 in TOs too). In 2019 they were #2 and #3 in points and yards. Just wow we are now a vibe based football community. -

If dreadlocks on a white woman don't "align" with her race, then straighteners and wigs on African American women don't align either. -

The Eagles definitely watched the Bills to learn something. Vic Fangio ran the 2021 (regular season) Leslie Frazier gameplan in the Superbowl. -

Oh I did. They were both B+/A- players individually, extremely consistent and their partnership was absolutely A+ elite.

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

I am curious, is there anyone here that is still on the waiting list and has not been called yet? -
I’m curious about the Thousand Island area. We vacationed there as a kid and it made an impression on me. We stayed at an old resort on the Canadian side with golf for the adults and ping pong with lemonade for the kids. It’s funny what sticks in your mind, but I remember the exposed pipes in the old-time hotel bath. I also remember my dad hit something in the rented boat and they were going to charge him $200 for the prop they were just going to bang straight again, but since we bought it we took that prop home and kept it on the mantle for a while. I might like to look into that for before the 2026 home opener with the wife. Any suggestions? Is it worth it? Where do you base yourself? What to see and do?

I want a new Taco Pro. But the damn shock absorbing seats are a no go for my kids or anybody else that wants to sit in the back. Stupid design -
They still have to get through the last preseason game.
