  1. Past hour
  2. After reading the threads, there's probably a lot of hurt feelings on defense, except for Ed and his horse.
  3. So was Lamar actually cramping or did he just take a play off because he got rocked?
  4. Who can stop or even contain this Josh Allen led Offense if they can't do it??
  5. Great work! I agree 100% - I was totally giddy with his play last night! He was a force all night. Gonna be a massive addition for our D this year. Imagine with Hoecht returns? Oliver/Bosa/Hoecht/Groot/DQ/Walker sweeeeeeeeeeet
  6. No one is a Keon hater today. It's stupid to act like there is. He was legitimately awful last year all around, and in week one he came in and looked like a better player than he's ever been in his life. Props to him for putting in the work and putting together the kind of turnaround you hardly ever see at the WR position.
  7. Milano and Bernard were both horrible last night. Milano had one nice stop I recall but seemed out of place too much. Bernard seems almost like the exact opposite of Tremaine Edmunds for me. Edmunds is probably the single lowest IQ player I have ever seen but a physical monster. Bernard I think does a decent job with a microphone in his helmet and at reading plays, but he is physically inferior and gets manhandled by opponents.
  8. The Bills out gained them by a lot, won the turnover margin, time of possession, and of course, they had more points. Their QB was the best player on the field from either team, and certainly had a better night than Lamar. About the only thing that could be said that Ravens did better was run. Henry is an absolute beast and they had him going, no doubt. I fail to see how they were the better team. Harbaugh was certainly not the better coach, clocking another late game collapse, blowing a double digit lead for the 18th time as Ravens HC. (I think that is now 7 or 8 with Lamar) That was two heavyweight offenses going at it, right to the final gun. Neither defense showed well last night. Both are better than they looked, but these are really great offenses.
  9. I think we won't know how good this D is until the midpoint of the season or maybe even a little later...lot of young/new players that need to understand their role on each play and to do their 1/11th. More than any other team, the Bills rely on players playing with sound technique and being where they are supposed to be to have team success on D. Far too often, players weren't in the right place or trying to do other people's jobs yesterday. Plus 2 big pieces in Hoecht and Ogunjobi will be out for 6 weeks and would expect some serious improvement once they are inserted.
  10. I thought the entire LB corps was hesitant and just plain awful, along with both safeties. Although Bishop seemed to get more comfortable and aggressive later in the game.
  11. That was an amazing football game. Reminded me of UGA/OK when Baker Mayfield was OK’s QB and UGA/OSU game when Stroud lead the Buckeyes. As to the Bills, my simple takeaways were the team’s lack of quit, which is great news for the season, the great early returns on Kincaid, Palmer and Coleman, plus the same issue on defense as last season. However, any game facing the Ravens offense of Henry and Lamar has to be taken a little bit with a grain of salt. No other team in the NFL, not the Eagles, Chiefs or whomever present the same issues defensively as do the Ravens. The Eagles are the closest with Barkley, but Hurts is not close to Lamar’s level. The key for the Bills defense is whether Bishop gets better and whether Hairston can step in at CB and add some desperately needed speed to the secondary. Getting Hoecht back will help. The next 5 weeks will be a great opportunity for McD and staff to coach up the defensive secondary against beatable teams. If they don’t improve, it’s going to be hard for this team to take the next step.
  12. I think he is more a plus starter with the ability to make a difference over certain stretches of the game. We saw it in his limited preseason snaps as well as last night. He will play above average a lot but then take over a possession or two a game and stop a drive. I would take that production. Can't wait to see him play a statue of a QB like Tua.
  13. Please dont put words in my mouth and no I dont think that. Yes obviously thrre i a lot of luck involved, I am not going to state the obvious to cover every contingency. But if Harbaugh was such a superior coach and his team wouldn't consistently fold in critical moments. IMO Harbaugh as much as anyone blew that game to have such a classic meltdown.
  14. Didn't see anybody come off the field with an injury for the Bills. Any reports?
  15. Why do you keep saying Simmons hasn't played in over a year, when he played last year for Atlanta? Just because you keep repeating it, doesn't make it true. According to Wikipedia he played Dec 16, 2024 and two pass deflections and an interception. He has a fully guaranteed $7.5M contract. Simmons didn't do well in PFF grading. But Spotrac lists him at a market value of $5M. I would like to think our FO is looking and he is one of the candidates. But the FO might (rightfully) think they can hold off a bit and get a better deal than that with a trade candidate to be named later (which I am also hoping they are scouting).
  16. Hi! Guy who preferred other receivers to Keon Coleman in that draft here. Keon had a great game! Seems like he gad a great camp, too! He's a very likable guy and he's very athletically gifted and has size you can't teach. The very best thing that could happen to the Buffalo Bills offense is if Keon becomes a reliable and legitimate #1 WR. Last night was a great first step. Given that he's a Buffalo Bill and seems like such a great young man, I will be rooting very hard for him throughout the duration of his career, and I'm thrilled he had such a great game. It is okay to have different personnel preferences than your favorite football team sometimes. It feels great when the team or the player in question proves you wrong, but doesn't invalidate the idea of having one's own preferences that are sometimes different than those of the team. Signed, Guy who has his own preferences, preferred other receivers in the draft, but roots for everyone wearing a Bills jersey no matter what
  17. Call ‘em as I see ‘em. Other than Oliver and Bosa in the second half no one on the defense played well last night. I give credit to their offense for playing great. Others pick a player for criticism.
  18. So the defense last year was: AJE/Von Oliver Jones/Phillips Groot Bernard Milano Taron Benford Douglas Rapp Hamlin/Bishop The only guys not here now is Von and Douglas. One replaced by Bosa, the other by Hairston/Tre/Strong. Offense is the same group back with the exception of Cooper who wasn’t really worth much anyway. Palmer will have the same production. The rotation players last night on defense were 2 draft picks from 2025 (Sanders/Walker) and one from 2024 (Solomon). thats 18 out of 22 starters returning. I’d say that’s as healthy as you’ll get. Again, Tre back from injury and Hairston can’t be included as much as the suspended players in OG and Hoecht. If you think that perspective is “hating” good on you man.
  19. When your LBers are 220, and your DL is completely dominated, it's going to be a rough night. They played poorly on top of that scenario, minus Williams. He seemed like he wanted to hit Henry.
  20. Bosa seems to have a noticeable jump, which is encouraging. But also appears slow in pursuit. That could be due to age, or he may never have been that quick after an initial burst. Disappointing it took time for Bosa to set the edge, but no doubt had several key plays in crunch time. Curious how he plays versus the Jets and Dolphins.
  21. If Coleman can show up like this consistently, then yes. Josh just needs to feed him. I believe a lot of trust was built last night.
  22. The thing is, you can't simply point to Trump and his failings. You have to bring a better alternative, and the left hasn't done that for over a decade.
  23. Yup, I’ve said this for years as well. These games doesn’t matter the personnel. You have to make the clutch plays. It’s why the Ravens lose to us and it’s why we’ve lost to the Chiefs
  24. That isn't out of left field, but they'd have to release a vet from the practice squad to do it. If he's healthy I think I'd rather see him dressed before Strong for at least this year.
