  1. Past hour
  2. OPHS would still get multiple roughing the passer penalties, too.
  3. Haven't watched the video, but weren't the Bills founded something like 65 years ago?? Seems like an awfully long time to sort out the details.
  4. Just because you have beef with Cook does not make this true. Every year the cap goes up. Every year contracts go up. Numbers go up. That is a fact. It's why there were a number of "lesser" QBs making more than Josh over the past few years. Barkley reset the RB market with a $20M+ contract. Whether you believe he is close to Barkley or not does not matter. No one is saying he should be paid as much as Barkley. BUT, if Cook does have another year like last year, then he will be known as an integral part of the best Offense in football. If he hits the market, other teams will not care whether he is a 2-down back. With 2 seasons in a row like that, he will absolutely get $15-17M on the open market next offseason. His tag number will be $13-14M, and if that's the case, Beane will tag him. Heck, he might tag him anyways since it's essentially a 5th year option.
  5. but no one would be without care. a basic level would be provided. the folks who can afford it can see those that are perceived as the best. true, it could be marketing but patients notice a difference. Go to health grades and look up your doc. The public constantly rates us which is good but can be improved.. At any rate, many factors influence recruitment: quality of care and thus quality of colleagues, lifestyle, autonomy, pay etc..the small hospital i mentioned and I recruited several great docs to my practice. Ah, the good old days. People motivated solely by pay may choose a less desirable location that's willing to pay more. Different corporate systems have different reputations largely based on how they prioritize true quality.
  6. The Bills 1975 offense is still the greatest Bills scoring offense. It has to be judged relative to the league scoring average at the time.
  7. Based on him being mainly a 2 down back with some pass catching ability, I have no issues with 10 mil per year, but not 15, let alone 17 mill. I think we ride him hard and hope he puts up a better year than ever, then let him walk for a comp pick. If he holds out, I don't see McDermott or Beane letting a malcontent stay on this team after how things went down with Diggs. So he will play or be traded by the trade deadline.
  8. From Google: “In the 2024 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs generated the highest TV ratings, with an average of 25.5 million viewers per game. Following closely behind were the Detroit Lions with 23.8 million viewers, and the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens each attracting 23.8 million viewers, rounding out the top four.” it’s all about the ratings
  9. Love the rotation cause it implies understanding of the defense holistically and I believe that is what McD/Babich want. Glad you also mentioned the free safety too because I view Bishop more in the Poyer role. Both are plenty athletic but I think Bishop can be physical and would like a better coverage player behind him. Rapp and Hamlin dont reallly offer that but they do obviously have mastery of the defense. I still think Forrest might have a bit of the edge over Hancock at S but I would like either of them over Rapp/Hamlin come Sept.
  10. It was a prove it year. He signed a 2/$16M contract. The first year his cap hit was only $5M. It was a $5M prove it year, because this year not only does his number go up to $13M, but they could cut him for less than $5M in dead cap, and save $8M if he was washed. I bolded the part of what you pasted that shows what I am saying.
  11. It’s is a tough decision part of me says Thad Lewis and the other says Matt Cassel.
  12. Wow this thread is a constant reminder of what fascist dirtbags the Lefties are. Never forget.
  13. Yes, it was $8M/yr for D Henry. Cap numbers can be manipulated. The first year was not a "prove-it" year. From Spotrac: Derrick Henry signed a 2 year, $16,000,000 contract with the Baltimore Ravens, including $7,790,000 signing bonus, $9,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8,000,000. In 2025, Henry will earn a base salary of $6,000,000 and a roster bonus of $1,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $12,895,000 and a dead cap value of $4,895,000. Cook does not want to be paid for what he has done, he wants market price for what he thinks he could do. Cook has 2 season with about 1,000 yds rushing and 300 receiving. This is C Hubbard/D Swift/D Henry $8.5M/yr territory. Putting up a season like he did last year does not get Cook to $17m, let alone making it worth tagging him. $17M? What are you thinking?
  14. Are the Dolphins wearing AT&T helmets? There's your rivalry UNIs right there.
  15. Yeah Lowe's has tons of Craftsman stuff. The reviews on the Egos are slightly higher, but I already have a ton of Craftsman cordless products that use the same chargers so I stuck with them. I also bought one for my tenant about a year and a half ago and her son uses it pretty regularly with no complaints.
  16. No, I don't have any complaints, just observations. You mentioned a couple posts previously about attracting the brightest and the best, that's why I wondered about a certain prerequisite of care for doctors benefiting from the system. Of course, the private pay folks may not be substantially better that those who treat all, they may just be better marketers. All things considered though, you end up with a system not at all unlike our system--it's just that the docs get to set the pricing v the market or the govt. In the end, someone is always on the wrong side of the equation.
  17. I saw others mention this but couldn’t pay attention long enough to get to that part. What did they say or what part of the video did they mention it?
  18. Maybe. But he never really left the CB room at tOSU, he would just rotate in at safety for certain looks or to fill in for injury. He was their nickel CB. Even as a deep safety, he was mostly playing coverage. What I think had him slide was our outside CBs these past two seasons were kind of the weak spot and yet they never really moved him outside. In theory he is big and athletic enough to play out there, so it begs the question as to why they kept him at nickel.
  19. Lewiston and East Aurora are musts...also recommend Glen Falls on Main St in Willamsville.
  20. Yeah, I wouldn’t use or need a self-propelled mower. The lawn is pretty flat, and I like the exercise. Who picked up the Craftsman brand? Lowe’s?
  21. That lost to the lowly Giants at home on MNF was the beginning of the end...a 4-0 start, including trouncing the SB champion Steelers on the road, was a mirage. The defense just gave up too many points for the Bills to contend. It was OJ's most complete season, but it just wasn't enough.
  22. We are finally here. We will be trying Barbill, anchor bar and wingnuts to determine who has the best wings. We have had duffs Several times but have never tried other wings. we have never had beef on weck. Since we are staying in east aurora, we are going to main & Hamlin will update everyone on our thoughts. We are food snobs and it’s a hobby of ours.
  23. So did China, for the same reason. Expect a deal in the next 90 days.
