  1. Past hour
  2. That was 52 minutes of pathetic defense against a unicorn elite offense but somehow they got it done. We will be better the next time we play them.
  3. Courtesy of Josh Allen... The Bills QB became the fourth reigning MVP in NFL history to account for at least four touchdowns in Week 1. The previous three such players -- Tom Brady in 2011, Brett Favre in 1996 and Thurman Thomas in 1992 -- all reached the Super Bowl that season
  4. We all would be jumping for joy if Allen did that to a Ravens fan who was being disrespectful. The fan was totally in the wrong.
  5. Love the heart this team has, but our defense is a problem. Jets offense is kind of a poor man’s version of the Ravens so it will be interesting how we look next week. I really don’t know what our Back 7 does on most plays. Receivers were either wide open or Henry and Lamar ran untouched. We took nothing away. Our stops were largely individual plays by Oliver and Bosa and Rousseau.
  6. He should also get the credit for how well Josh played the 4th quarter????
  7. I'm not a Bass hater, but after he kicked that Miami game-winning FG last season (only game I went to last year), his post-game presser he said he kicks every kick the same regardless of the distance made me quite concerned. Do other kickers do this? I don't feel like they do.
  8. This 100%. Just unbelievably bad coaching by the Ravens that the Bills took full advantage of.
  9. I noticed one or two times he was a willing tackler unlike some others. But in general they didn't really test him because they didn't need to.
  10. As a unit they're average at best. Shakir is a baller and a reliable target. I'm still not sold on Coleman. The knock on Gabe Davis was his limited route running ability. How is Coleman an improvement in that regard? I can only imagine Josh with an truly elite receiver that requires constant double teams. And yes, Diggs was really good, but elite? I don't know.
  11. They stopped being aggressive. They lost more than we won. Lots of high shell stuff from what I could tell from my vantage point in the stadium.
  12. Although as some have pointed out, it should have been a legal catch. He didn't just step out, he was forced out and he re-established in bounds
  13. I'm blaming the fan myself on this one.
  14. Other than the one play you hardly noticed he was on the field. That’s a good thing when you give up a forty burger. No
  15. Fan is most definitely in the wrong, but players need to be smarter and not retaliate or engage. If the kid falls and cracks his head Lamar’s writing a much bigger check. Unfortunately neither looked like the brightest bulbs in the box.
  16. I'm having BBMB PTSD right now. Peace and love everybody.
  17. That would be him.
  18. yup- a whole lot of money to pretend they don’t exist and trust stadium ops to ban them for life. fan should be banned - and if a psi at the new digs, forfeit the deposit. lamar should be fined heavily too
  19. Was that the one where they sent Cole Bishop on a blitz from deep in the defensive backfield? If so, Bishop caused the separation. He ran between the CB in coverage and the WR after the snap, which created the separation.
  20. Broadcasting Notes Going into Week 2: Felt bad for FOX's A-team doing Giants-Commanders... should have a better one in Eagles Chiefs CBS's D-Team gets the Dolphins again this week (wk 1 loss vs Colts) Bills get the A-team for CBS @Jets this week
  21. You don't know what you are talking about. What is the McDermott defensive philosophy according to you, and then tell me the defensive philosophy of last night's game. And explain to me how the defense hasn't adjusted, please. Do you even know what you are watching, or are you just parroting things you are hearing? The Bills had a COMPLETELY different style of defense than they have in the past yesterday. Tons of man coverage and blitzing. Dorian Williams played a ton in base defensive packages with three linebackers.
  22. Honestly no idea. And that's a good thing. Given our upcoming schedule, I am not rushing Tre back at all. Let Strong get some experience, it will pay off when he's needed later in the year.
  23. In the end it's better he didn't as killed more clock.
  24. Its funny how McDermott gets all the credit for not being able to stop one of the best offenses in football, but none of the credit for how well guys like Ed Oliver played.
