  1. Past hour
  2. I think JJ ends up paying him like he has the rest of his star players. He always drags out negotiations and ends up paying more than he could have if he had just paid them sooner. It’s like an annual Dallas tradition at this point. lol After hearing Jones talk at his Netflix premiere, everything he does truly is just all about creating storylines to keep the cowboys name in the news cycle. (listen to the whole 59 second clip. It’s a more detailed answer than the Twitter quote) his contract negotiating strategy never made sense to me until this interview. I could never think of a logical reason why he always seemed to wait for other star players to set the market even higher. But now I think he views the headlines a contract dispute creates as being worth more than saving cap space (by getting a deal done sooner) to use on depth players.
  3. Some owners won’t let a team rebuild.
  4. Yesterday
  5. What on earth are the saints doing? That fourth round pick could be like 10 spots outside of the third round at the top of the day on Saturday morning. and then how did Denver get them to throw in a 7th rounder also? good lord.
  6. Lets us hope they know , and have more faith , than we fans do. and you might well be correct about bringing in real starting competition. Too late Perhaps this is every seasons emotion. Critical thinking period lol But Defense was the issue with finishing out the post season with Wins , imho. And remains my worry as a whole , honestly
  7. The problem with Rosseau, is that he is an ideal DE2. I also still can't shake the image of him getting ragdolled by a mediocre Chiefs oline.
  8. Dude looks like a moderately respectable writer from his LinkedIn ; however, this is a thought of his, not a report
  9. I’m stuck on Rousseau still becoming a thing at DE and I think the idea should be to pair him with an elite guy, not replace him with one. I’m certainly not sending out Rousseau plus a 1st for Hendrickson.
  10. AFC Team at that!!!!!! Not contenders but Cinci is desperate, dumb and cheap! Call em up!!!
  11. Asking seriously here, do you think Shavers has both better separation and hands?
  12. If the Saints cut Mason Tipton, I hope the Bills add him.
  13. He impacts the game a ton. If you don't pay enough attention to him, like other elite pass rusher, he'll wreck your gameplan. Ask Philly how they feel about him. They would be ecstatic to get him out of the division.
  14. Story by Jarrett Bailey Buffalo Bills get compensation update on potential Trey Hendrickson trade Aug 18, 2025, 7:16 AM PDT Buffalo Bills get compensation update on potential Trey Hendrickson trade originally appeared on The Sporting News The Cincinnati Bengals have been in a months-long standoff with star edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. The 2024 sack king has made it clear he isn't playing on the final year of his contract, and wants a long-term deal with more guaranteed money. And while the Buffalo Bills signed Joey Bosa to a one-year deal and recently extended Greg Rousseau, this is a move they should be all over. It was reported on Sunday that the Bengals were now listening to trade offers for Hendrickson, and now they expected trade compensation has been revealed. "Teams that have recently inquired about Bengals star Trey Hendrickson were told Cincinnati’s asking price included a young defensive player and a 2026 first-round pick, according to league sources," Dianna Russini reports. "The player heading back does not have to be a pass rusher." Considering the Bills' lack of success at the top of the draft over the last five years, trading a first-round pick shouldn't worry Brandon Beane or Bills fans - especially when you're in win-now mode like the Bills are. Send the pick, as well as any defender the Bengals want not named Christian Benford or Terrel Bernard and call it a day.
  15. I agree in theory to most of your post points, but DE's tend to play into a deeper age at high levels, more than maybe any position. Could be because they are 'hardier' boys by nature
  16. We aren’t asking to be a #2 like last time.
  17. Would make one hell of a Hard Knocks story
  18. Just one less buyer for Josh’s house when he leaves for LA
  19. wow. Where was that? We saw a smallish grizzly at Glacier a few months ago, all alone on a trial. Made my wife and me skittish the entire time we were there!!
  20. Peter, Peter, Peter…, you know better than this, being a rabble rouser, is never a good look, now apologize, eat a cookie and take a nap, you’ll feel much better, bye now, 😁🍸🚬 respectfully yours, Don,
  21. Well, I’d like to say on behalf of more than half of us, we’re glad that you survived that encounter.
  22. Depth/Rotational Player level trades all over the place today.
  23. Yeah I wouldn't doubt it if he kicked it into an even higher gear playing for a team with a genuine chance at winning it all. Preferably us, of course.
  24. You lost me at fascist dictatorships. Good lord. Keep clutching your TRUMP pearls. 3.5 years tops and then you can worry about the next republican wannabe dictator.
  25. Prime?? Maybeeee, but he could % have more ceiling than he has now.... not to mention he's the type i could see bringing extra gas to the table after feeling disrespected. Thats a guy I want on my team. Oliver + premium pick is my starting offer.... id throw in a Knox or Kincaid if interested. And yes, Im also on the record for Mclaurin too.... i want another big piece if possible. Id MUCH rather Parsons, but would give a healthy offer for Scary Terry too
  26. ***** them picks let’s get a ring
  27. Wait. You are disappointed in our rookies based on two preseason games?
