Floor is Ed Reed, now that I think about it.

Really high. He is going to be a key piece of this secondary along with Hairston for the next several years.

Jalen Ramsey Ejected - Ja'Marr Chase Spitting?

I think this calls for a full investigation. Let's not get hasty and jump to any conclusions. I say take the next couple weeks and really look into this. I mean REALLY look into it. Figure out the best course of action. For the players. For the league. For the fans. And ultimately, for the kids watching. It's about the kids, man. The investigation I'm thinking of should take a couple weeks, meaning IF there was a suspension it would be announced on Monday, December 1. Surely this is reasonable and makes sense for all. -

To the negative Nancy's in here, we are talking about his ceiling. Where he could potentially max out at. Nobody is anointing him a Hall of Famer yet

3 Up Special Teams were lit... Best game in forever.. Probably since the first game back after the resurrection. Allen was feeling it. 6 TDs and leads the NFL in total TDs with 28 Gabe Davis actually might unlock some options for Palmer and Samuels and dare I say the healthy scratch WR 3 Down Rush defense was so bad that a 3rd string, who? ran wild on them Allen back to turning the ballover Shakir's game has disappeared.

I mean, Bridgewater was in. There wasn't going to be a trick play. But okay, if there is an explanation I guess that's it. -
To me, Shaq looks like our best run-stuffing LB while serviceable in coverage. Given our vulnerability to the run, I agree he should be on the field more.
-
I believe that Babich is more of an issue than the talent level. Good coordinators can disguise short comings in the defense. He just doesn’t seem to be watching the same game as us fans.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?

It's got the same feel for me as the people yelling for Brady's head because he's "too cute" with the play calling, but pine for Daboll to be back. -
Yeah it’s sad to see the decline. Dorrian Williams should be in there Milano should be on the bench.

I know the whole idea that when you have a bad/injured defense you need to run the ball and shorten the game but IMO this defense is so bad that you just need to let Josh go wild and see what happens. 2 pretty poor turnovers yesterday and we still put up 44 in non optimal weather conditions. You gotta protect Josh from a health perspective so maybe you can't quite be like that the rest of the way but it's time to open it up and let the dogs eat. -
Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF
PoundingDog replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know anyone plans for a shoot out game or ball control game to be honest. The term refers to what happens in the game, as in both sides scores a lot, a shoot out, both sides runs a lot but not much scoring, ball control. If one side is not scoring, thee is no shoot out. If the Bills are up, and see Texans not moving the ball, do we say "we are in a shoot out mode so keep throwing often and deep"? -
Beane's drafts have been very hit or miss, but it looks like he nabbed a couple of good ones in Hairston and Bishop.

It must be so frustrating to know what it takes to be a great LB but your body just won’t let you

Trying to adjust for steady 30 mph winds with gusts might have had something to do with a couple of those throws as well. It affects the touch passes more than the rifle shots. -

As far as the run defense...think it always goes to the defensive tackles. If you look at the history of the best run stuffing LBs in the history of the Bills and the NFL, they probably had a dominant DT in front of them. Even if the Tackles weren't making the play themselves, they were occupying a double team that meant less pressure on the linebackers behind them. Fridge Perry - Mike Singletary Siragusa/Sam Adams - Ray Lewis Bills just don't have THAT guy at the position since Kyle William -
Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
Ray Stonada replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
The difference is this year our run defense is completely shot. Playing close games where the other team can run is a recipe for disaster. I feel it’s time to let it rip and put Josh and co together with our pass defense, which is far better. -

Telegraph, telegram. You both are showing your age 🙂 I am glad Brady didn't get cute and out think himself. The Bucs secondary is weak and he called a bunch of passes deep and intermediate. None of the ball control, possession strategy which doesn't account for the opponent's weaknesses. We can be assured this is not the offense we will see in every game. It was heartening to see that when we needed to pass, we did so successfully.
