  1. Past hour
  2. The ATL game really made me for the first time start to question our game planning and I'm game adjustments...
  3. Week 6 was terrible but if I had to pick it. Up 1- Walker - Dude was needed a lot and he got his baptism by fire and performed well. 2- Special Teams - Big kick block kept the game a one score game late and the unit seemed to mostly be crisp. 3- Ed Oliver - Not a lot to choose from but Ed played a lot of snaps in a return from injury and he was decent. The context of the game coming back from injury and to play a heavy level of snaps and be decent impressed me. Lots of heart from the defense in the second half. Honorable Mention - Palmer - Dude looked like he was going to have a big breakout (and he is the best 1v1 man WR on the boundary) but got hurt after the 2 for 60 in Q1. Down 1- Josh - Hate to say it because it wasn't all his fault but not his best game. 2- Keon and the pass catchers - The Bills need to make a trade for a WR to save the season this game cemented it. 3- Joe Brady - Bad play calling esp after that very strong first drive in both halves. All they needed was a score on one of two drives to put pressure on Atlanta and they couldn't even get into field goal range. The defense and offense both had bad games. Defense displayed heart in the second half despite being depleted but after a good first drive in the second half the offense couldn't get it going.
  4. Literally like 75% of this board was gushing over the prospect Justin field was And I was getting roasted because I said I did not see him being a long-term NFL starter
  5. I honestly don't know what's up with Joe Brady, but I do know that if he can't get it together, there are a zillion OCs out there that would love the chance to coach Josh Allen. McD has shown that he isn't afraid to make a change. We all recall that 4th quarter against the Ravens in week one with Josh and 200+ yards passing in one quarter, along with his receivers making big plays. We ALL want that!
  6. All I know is BB has failed miserably over these last 2 drafts. Only 1 quality player (Walker) out of 16 players. Putting aside the egregious inability to draft a WR1, Beane's hot seat should be scalding if for no other reason than these last 2 drafts. And whatever input McD has had on some of these picks, sheds a very poor light on him too.
  7. Clear those cookies and delete that search history, my man!
  8. Christian McCaffery has 53 receptions. James Cook has 12 receptions. It’s a copycat league. If you can’t figure out how to game plan throws to James Cook on your own Brady- start copying San Fran’s excellent coordinator’s game plan. Mac Jones threw for 343 yards and beat the Rams with no Aiyuk, no Kittell, no Pearsal- start taking notes Brady. That’s how you win with backups. Yes. Size and speed freak. Should of been a stud WR
  9. Bills identity: Josh Allen & The Bend but also Break Defense
  10. Looking through the Gang Green fan forum, there's a sizeable number of Jets fans who have contended that Fields only opens up his passing once the game is out of reach for the Jets. If you ask Costanza (and a lot of Jets fans), he's a "stats padder."
  11. Not really true and football is weird. NE will have to play ATL/TB back to back plus the Ravens who will have Lamar and some guys on that defense back. The Giants are more then frisky with a great defensive line similar to CLE who they also play. Even the most optimistic Pats fans know their ceiling is probably 12-5 with the games coming as their defense is not perfect and the offense still needs some talent regardless of Maye. With that said the margin for error for Buffalo is now low. Your going to have to beat NE to pretty much guarantee the division crown, but you really can't finish worse then 11-6 to have a decent shot at it and I would honestly say 12-5 is the safe point for the division if you beat NE. The real issue now is far less NE assuming you can win there and can the Bills not slip up too much as the schedule has some challenges especially that back to back of at HOU/ at PIT. You can only lose one of those otherwise tiebreaker wise your opening the door wider where NE is ahead of you even if you tie at the end of the year and even if you beat them in December. Again I was furious when they blew that SNF game at home because they gave the Pats a far greater look then they should've and made the season far more difficult given the remainder of games they have.
  12. If I were the Jets I’d explore the cost to get Kirk Cousins in the building and see if has anything left to breathe hope into the roster for this & next year.
  13. Oh. I beat you too it?
  14. Vanilla offense that no one fears. A defense no one respects.
  15. They actually turned it around in 2023 by running the ball more with the RB's from what I remember. When Joe Brady took over that year he was relying on Josh less than Dorsey was. So while Josh always has the break glass in case if needed thing going I think that turn around in 2023 was largely the Bills leaning on him less.
  16. To the other teams? Did you see the Falcons RB flatten Rapp near the goal-line just for fun? Pseudo bully is what I’d call it.
  17. Very well said. The masses are easily fooled
  18. We are a bit confused. We are a run heavy team that plays with a lot of TEs. It used to be a 6th OL but now it’s Hawes. We want to run, limit mistakes and control the clock. It’s just a super weird approach and way of building a team around, arguably, the most physically gifted QB in history. 🤣🤣 This offense would have been the PERFECT offense when you had Tyrod under center.
  19. I guess when Steve Bannon declares Trump will run and win a 3rd term, these protests make some sense?
  20. It really highlights the mistakes between turnovers and penalties. The Saints game showed how badly they were playing with fire and the following two weeks they got burned bad. NOW mix in points 1 & 2 here and it makes those issues even more sizable. Realistically the reason why nationally more people aren't as concerned as locals and local coverage is because the offense will have far more better days with less penalties & turnovers along with Josh just not having bad days like ATL. To add to that when the numbers say your defense is generating pressure it generally swings back in your favor where the sacks come. That won't save the defense which needs better tackling and coverage, but it will help make them at least more middling. I also believe whether true or not they have a break glass situation with Josh which if it gets tight enough in the season they tell him go nuts. We saw it in 2023 when they were 6-6 and he basically became a wrecking ball. Unfortunately the difference now is the coach and QB over in NE are far better then the guys down south and if they fall off too much here your looking at wildcard spots not the division.
  21. McD is less loyal to coordinators than he used to be. He fired Dorsey mid-season most notably. He also finally fired Frazier after 2022 and then moved on from the ST coordinator after two seasons. He should take over or be "heavily involved" in play calling on defense this team invested far too much in the off-season to have a defense this Mediocre.
