  1. Past hour
  2. In the good ‘ol days the league had this same collusion meeting every year. It’s just that back then it was more accurately labeled as the “Can somebody please tell Al Davis to knock it off?” Meeting. 😉
  3. they say Nostradamus died in 1566....
  4. this corporation doesn't have a real CEO or board of directors. it's 32 equals who channel their decisions through a well payed lackey.
  5. Top Gun: B2 Death From Above would have sucked.
  6. Kind of related, but not really. Events of this past weekend in Iran point to something those of us in the "business" have been saying since the movie's release. Topgun Maverick used F-18's in the defining strike. That mission was clearly meant for the B-2, and using F-18's was gross entertainment license. Anyway, vindication on that call.
  7. I don't hate anyone doc. that post wasn't about Pegula....
  8. The thing that gives me pause is that Trump seems to value a public victory lap over substantive results. Hopefully, the success of this will lead to some reliable prohibitions against Iran resuming. There is no evidence of that yet. In the meantime, it seems there has been a Hamas ambush today that killed a number of Israeli soldiers. Hasn't hit the media yet, but serves as a reminder of reality.
  9. That’s why I cut a hole in the wall
  10. Because the line goes on forever and it's a very "safe" place to be for a very long time. I disagree with your opinion that deporting anyone that is in the USA illegally is inhumane.
  11. Not seeing Elam at all Last game at Rich Stadium
  12. The “dastardly deeds” moron. Shocker.
  13. I doubt the Bills go anywhere with the new stadium being constructed. However, I can only imagine the wrath of fans if they just paid for a new stadium to sit empty. Time to weld some armor on your Bulldozers..
  14. Hell freezes over, Sasha in the HOF!
  15. I know. That’s why I posed the question. You do have a habit of distilling things down to skin color.
  16. Players (and fans) should know by now that Roger is the "HR" of the NFL. He isnt there to protect the workers, he's there to protect the company (the Shield) from the workers.
  17. The Watson signing was the focal point I think. Bidwell, the Cardinals owner, was quoted in the ruling as saying "Cleveland really screwed things up". More context to that quote... Spanos, the Chargers owner, told Bidwell "Your deal (with Murray) helps us for our QB next year.” To which Bidwell responded “I think many teams will be happy with it once they have a chance to review." (along with the Cleveland comment)
  18. Shooting people in Gaza trying to get food, for one. Lobbing missles at Syria, for another.
  19. Almost had it.......
  20. But February made me shiver With every paper I'd deliver Bad news on the doorstep I couldn't take one more step I can't remember if I cried When I read about his widowed bride But something touched me deep inside The day the music died
  21. The more interesting story, in my opinion, was the Lamar Jackson stuff revealed in the story. Lamar wanted a fully guaranteed long contract. The Ravens would do 2 or 3 years at most. Lamar balked. He hit restricted FA and no-one wanted him. Ravens made one last offer to him before the draft and he immediately accepted it. I remember some folks on this forum talking about how Lamar "won" at the time. Turns out that Lamar practically jumped at the opportunity to take whatever the Ravens would give him after no-one else offered him a cent.
  22. He started 240 consecutive games. 5th all-time in passing yards and TDs. Guys like that make the HOF
  23. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/06/24/congress/most-democrats-vote-to-kill-impeachment-measure-00421254 Most House Democrats joined with Republicans on Tuesday to quash an effort to impeach President Donald Trump over his weekend Iran strikes. Rep. Al Green’s impeachment resolution was tabled on a 344-79 vote, with 128 Democrats joining all 216 Republicans to kill the measure. Those included House Democratic leaders, who have been wary of pursuing new impeachments after two prior Trump impeachments failed during his first term. Still, dozens of Democrats voted to keep Green’s resolution alive. Green introduced the measure lambasting Trump for striking Iran without congressional approval Tuesday and used a fast-track process to force a quick vote. GOP leaders moved first with the motion to table. Some Democrats — most prominently New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — called for Trump’s impeachment in the aftermath of the strike, though there’s little appetite in the rest of the caucus for impeachment. Michigan Rep. Shri Thanedar yanked a prior impeachment measure he sponsored last month before it even came up for a vote after facing fierce blowback in the caucus. Lets go crybabies. Looks like crazy isn't so hot anymore.
  24. PSE has always been a disaster - even when Kim was running the show. Remember that meeting where Kim told the staff that made $50k/year that their job was to maintain the Pegula's opulent lifestyle, and that they would be fired before the Pegula's would ever think about doing something like cancelling their vacation to Tahiti?
