Yes. The stats were great because they learned how to attack that defense is my point. Getting an upgrade with the receiving corp would be great. But if Beane can’t get any deals done I have faith in the offense, specifically Allen and Brady, to adjust and improve on how to attack defenses imo.

I just think his receivers are bad and hes in year 7 or whatever with mcdumb and realizing he may never get one.

Defensively I’m most excited to watch Joey Bosa and Michael Hoecht. Idk if they’ll have a big game, but it’s these types of moments they were brought in to execute. We’ll get a good glimpse of that this weekend. It isn’t Andy Dalton falling over himself Sunday, and will be a good test for the entire DL post-Oliver.

More importantly, when you're getting the kind of production we're getting from our WR core, a grand total combined through 7 games of 13 catches for 164 yards and 1 TD for HALF of our WR core (Shavers, Moore, and Samuel) - how can you be upset about trying Gabe Davis in place of one of them? You really think Gabe Davis is worse than what we're already getting? Hell, Shavers is one of only 3 WR's to be active every game this year and he's gone without a catch in 5 out of the 7 games.

yep, the offenses are a wash, Mahomes and Allen cancel each other imo. Patty has had the better D by far over the span. thats the difference. one team has Chris Jones, the other has nothing thats a true game wrecker on the D. McD knows this, he's not stupid. why he's always wanted a solid run game. we hear it all the time, he wants to protect his D, cuz he knows its not reliable enough.

So when the Bills lead the NFL in rushing(by a lot) in 2015 and Tyrod averaged 8 yards per attempt........that was actually an "elite" offense too? Attaching an exciting adjective to describe the "offense" doesn't help it complete the passes necessary to succeed when the run game naturally/organically regresses in the second and third rounds of the playoffs. And the formula in the 3rd season of Joe Brady is not appreciably different than the prior two so it's certainly not a "secret".

Tomlin seems to have lost his fire-about three years ago. He wants to win but doesn’t have the drive to do it in PA any longer. He’s a good coach albeit overrated IMO. A change of venue would be good for him-and I bet he does well for three or four years.
