  1. Past hour
  2. I actually don't think Chris Simms hates the Bills at all. I think he's a not-so-closeted Josh Allen fanboy, to the point where he has a case of BBFS because he thinks the Bills aren't "doing right" to put the right pieces around his Boy Blue. But as far as his predictions go, he's paid to generate controversy, so he's gotta do something.
  3. I would add that Solomon also has a year under the system, which is not all about a pass rush. As I mentioned in my other post in this thread, McD mentioned that LJ is getting close, which I interpret at understanding the system well enough to warrant play time.
  4. PFF disagrees and we all know that Collinsworth and his merry band of stat-pickers are the answer to all of football’s greatest questions
  5. Do I need to add the words? .
  6. Should have traded him for a 2nd round pick when we had the chance...
  7. Fair 'nuff Don't get me wrong, I think the Bills defense has its issues right now. But I think Babich is a fine young DC. I think he's getting a weird case of the finger-pointies from fans right now. Now, if we're still getting time outs due to 10 men on field or penalties for 12 men on field in 2 games, I'll get back to you. To me, the fundamental problem with the Bills D is that it's built to work like a net, where every player on the D knows his role, knows how his assignment changes with post-snap changes on O and the actual route choices receivers make, and executes. Part of the net moves, and the rest of the net adjusts to follow it. It's the reason the Bills D can perform well and rank highly without 3-4 stars, with just decent guys. It's the reason it can absorb the loss of a starter or 2 and still function well if the backup also knows his job and does it. But right now, we've got too many newbies. We've got Dorian Williams, we've got Cam Lewis, we've got Rapp and Bishop, we've got changes on the DL. Part of the net moves, and the rest of the net does not adjust or adjusts the wrong way and the result is guys out of position. They're not missing tackles because they don't know how to tackle for the most part, they're missing tackles because they're out of position and 0.5 sec slow. Either it will improve as starters return and as young starters get more game time, or it won't. Can't tell you which right now. I assume you mean Josh McDaniels, not Mike McDaniel, and no, actually, I don't concede that at all. And if "many people" don't disagree, I guess that doesn't concern me much unless those "many people" have actually followed McDaniels chequered career outside NE Bart Scott didn't come up with his MadBacker quip in a vacuum or on his own. He came up with his quip because it was known.
  8. OBJ got multiple huge FA contracts, all based on one catch.
  9. Who cares, they should pay
  10. I hope this is why he hasn't been starting over white. Because he's been far better when he has been out there. Hopefully he gets healthy asap because tre white is cooked.
  11. You wanna see an injury report. Check this one https://www.baltimoreravens.com/team/injury-report/
  12. Memorable drops count way more than regular drops, just like with catches. Ask Stevie Johnson. I think Lynn Swann made it into the HOF based largely upon one super acrobatic catch in a Super Bowl. He was never great….I know….different times….
  13. Grass should be going in soon. I believe they were aiming for October install. When does the rest of the dome go up?
  14. I'll always appreciate this. I remember during the drought when we were on the other side of it almost every week.
  15. Hopefully this is just some soreness. A little worrisome to see a DNP with a Neck designation. Strong has been solid in his first 4 games. T.J. Sanders also pops up with a Limited practice with a Knee. Two important Rookies who were healthy now aren't. Not great.
  16. Sure, he's on pace for 1700+ yards, but you guys are gonna feel pretty silly when he finishes with only 1650 or so. I don't think it's fair to blame people who didn't want to pay him Henry money when he wound up signing for like 20% less. That is, no one else was offering him Henry money either. I was relieved to see 12M/yr with a reasonable guarantee and now I feel like it was a steal. In hindsight, I would be be plenty forgiving if they had given him 15M for four years, but I also think he's playing better than anyone expected. And it wouldn't have been a steal.
  17. Well earned!! Way to go, James Cook. And his performance is at least the same if not better than in his contract year. Which says a lot about the type of person he is.
  18. Tariffs are gonna fix that. Don’t you worry.
  19. Agree that it is hard to judge RB when he gets random touch here and there. It seems that it applies to Davis as well. Last year he started one game vs Jets when Cook was down, and he was really good once he got some flow. But like Gunner said, if he needs flow more that some other backup RBs, then we need someone else, since he will never get consistently going behind Cook. And I disagree about him not missing holes. I watches All22 of two games. In Baltimore game he missed one hole early, and after that was doing fine. In Saints game he had 2&4 during that infamous drive, and to my eye he missed the hole between McGovern and Cybo and went to the right. I'd say it's a first down if he just went through that hole.
  20. I was pissed and said as much in the thread the minute it happened. I then got bombarded with dislikes and stalkers for the next few weeks constantly going back and pointing out that I thought it was a terrible trade. I accepted that they basically paid cleveland more to eat the money but I still hated it. I even got a temp ban and threats in my messages when I pointed it out later in the year again. I believe I was told I was crusading. oh well. This year I feel the exact same way about bosa. Thankfully he only takes cap space and not draft capital away.
