Divisions and schedules can make a 10-7 record a way better accomplishment than 12-5 vs a crap division and easy schedule. I also think winning your division is a big deal where the current seeding system ensures a home game. It makes the division matter more and leads to a way more interesting week to week game. Detroit needs to worry about winning its playoff games not changing the rules. Maybe a qb that doesnt melt under pressure to boot.

Considering what we paid Elijah Moore for 1 year, Mack would’ve been worth the extra chunk next season. 3.5M gtd. 4M cap hit in 2025. Vs 2.5M for Moore. Aj Brown is a top 5 WR. Barkley is the best running back in the NFL. Jalen Carter was a first team All Pro. Again, how does that compare to Shakir, Cook, and Oliver? I said that Rice was elite before his injury. Doesn’t guarantee he’ll be consistently elite for the rest of his career, but he was putting up elite numbers. Rice was injured at the beginning of the 4th game. In his first three, he had 103, 110 and 75 yds. Nothing he did was gimmicky or flukey. He’s just an explosive, physical player with good body control.

I wasn’t saying that to defend the Bills. Buffalo has an above average roster who’s coaches and Josh Allen and oline managed to turn it into a great team that played well beyond its talent.
