  1. Past hour
  2. They are 4-1. 2-1 in the division. They were not going undefeated. They were splitting with a division rival. Defenses wasn't that bad with 2 practice squad DTs and the offense was unusually sloppy. Why the negativity?
  3. This was Maye 4th good to great game in a row. Yes he had no TD passes but when Stevenson holds onto the ball he is a really good RB and he scored easily on both run plays, also he hit He Ty right in the hands and he wasn’t able to catch it at the end of the half because of the good defense by the Bills.. He also had a couple other drops (1 of Diggs 2 misses he dropped the pass.) I would give Maye an A for last night simply because when they needed a drive at the end he was able to do it and got the Pats in FG range . (He was not ever going to pass the ball once they were in FG range) That’s what a real Top notch QB does. He is still growing and will make his mistakes but I think I can safely say he is definitely the second best QB in the east and in the middle for the entire NFL. Which isn’t bad for someone in a brand new system this year .
  4. It’s gotta be for a WR. Teams aren’t gonna let us be risk averse all year like last year if we can’t make them pay in the passing game. On defense, we have Hairston and the 2 roid D Linemen returning. McDermott has no excuses on the defensive side.
  5. should have done a poll on a thread like this
  6. Josh Allen is the MVP of the entire league and has been playing at that level for 4 years. A better question might be: What does Sean bring to the table that would make you think any half-decent coach couldn’t do at least as well? Is it his stellar D? Nope. In-game decision making? Nope. Commitment to getting a generational QB talent top weapons? Nope. This fanbase needs to get over its Sean loyalty for ending the draught. That was 8 years ago.
  7. It was certainly clear the officials were looking for certain things to call while ignoring others. I hate having Hochuli as an official, he thinks he is the star of the show, each and every time I see him. Why the NFL thinks he does a good job is beyond me, he is terribly inconsistent.
  8. This should be a poll thread. I would LOVE it if it happened, but do I think it will happen?... No.
  9. Team wasn’t prepared at all. Offense asleep and giveaways . Over and over again same problems on D And posters keep defending this guy. Unbelievable
  10. The only thing that matters is when does Terry Pegula feel it's time to make a change since his opinion is the only one that counts.
  11. I don't think it's nearly as open as you do, both the CB and the Safety are watching Allens eyes and where he's looking. Gonzalez(CB) is already getting depth and as you move the frames forward the Safety, flips his hips as Samuel starts flattening his route. Allen would have to put air on the ball to get it over the LB, so he's not throwing a rocket. Which allows both the CB and Safety to cover that hole you are suggesting Allen can get the ball into. I've freezed the frame at Allens drop back, when he would have had to make a decision on throwing to Samuel.
  12. Yep horsecollar in all in front of him. With that said I generally agreed with the penalties called and the pats had a ton especially late that had they lost I am sure they would've been pissed about.
  13. Disagree. Allen has been great in many games where McD's Defense ultimately cost them the game. What else could Allen possibly do in the postseason?
  14. I think the Chiefs will have to fight for the division this year. The Broncos and Chargers (despite yesterday's loss) will give them competition this year which is something the Chiefs haven't had to deal with in past seasons.
  15. People who criticize Allen for having an off night are no different from people saying Allen can do no wrong. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. Allen had some really nice throws last night and extended some plays and kept drives alive with his legs. I don't think his recovers did him a lot of favors either. However, he bailed from clean pockets several times, threw the bad red zone interception, and clearly made the wrong decision to keep the ball on the read option that surly looks like would have been a walk in TD for Johnson. By Allen's standards, he had a sub par night and I think the film is going to support that as well.
  16. If everyone’s answer is no or an almost definitely no without lunacy the wtf are we doing here? The only thing that matters is the answer to this question. If we don’t think we can win with this guy, then it’s time to make a change.
  17. McD used to eat inexperienced QBs for breakfast. Not sure if this is the case anymore.
  18. "Stolen valor"???
  19. He was 2019 Allenish. It was obviously a much bigger game to NE than to Buffalo. It seems they win the Superbowl in October. I remember those times during the drought years. Was the worst offensive output in a year. Not really much of it was due to Ne defense imo. I think the team needed it. Playing sloppy and winning was becoming a trend.
  20. He’s talented and had a very good game, this Bills defense is bad and helps everyone they play look good. The kid didn’t score a TD and got a 3 point win in a game the Pats shoulda won by double digits, the Bills had zero business having an opportunity to win that game. Tre White, yikes.
  21. I think the Div winners are Buffalo, Denver, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis. So NE's immediate competition is KC, LA, Jacksonville. Even if they win 10, it might not be enough, the margin for error is small. The AFC West has 3 playoff teams by itself. They're relevant, so if that means "back" then I guess they are. They have to prove consistency though. If they win 7 out of the next 8 that they should be favored in, then count me as a believer. Not until then though.
  22. NEVER gonna happen. Josh Allen is a Ferrari with a Kia Mechanic as head coach. facts, both would be selling Allstate in Iowa if not for 17.
  23. Great! Have you anything to prove he wouldn't have been successful beyond Mayock and an NFC exec who wasn't even sure if Mahomes was coachable? The fact that he corrected his footwork before the draft speaks to his motivation and bolsters my argument more than yours. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38334676/untold-stories-patrick-mahomes-rookie-season In Derrick Johnson and Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and Eric Berry, the Chiefs had a group of defensive players who combined for 17 Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pro selections. But in 2017, they had seen nothing like the quarterback who played against them each day in practice. "We were in awe of what he was doing," Johnson said. "We'd sit around talking about the throws he made on us in practice. We'd all talk about how he got us with this play or that play. "When it came time for the Broncos game, we all had our popcorn ready. We were sitting there saying, 'Watch this,' or 'Look at this.' We were starstruck when it came to the talent he had. There was no way he could throw the passes he could throw and not be successful." It's natural to wonder now, after what he's accomplished in his five seasons as a starter, how Mahomes and the Chiefs would have fared had he played as a rookie. Would he have a third MVP award? Would the Chiefs have won the Super Bowl that season? "I think I would have had some success," Mahomes said recently. "I don't think it would have happened as fast. I think there would have been a lot more mistakes, especially early in my career, early in my season. I think by the end of the year I could have figured some stuff out and made some stuff happen. I don't know if it would have been a Super Bowl run or anything like that but I think I hopefully could have gotten us into the playoffs. Bottom line, while Pat acknowledged he learned a lot his rookie year, he himself feels he would have been fine, just taken a little longer. The rest of his team already knew it before his first real game. Plenty more stories to that in the article.
  24. The script for this year is already unfolding. The Chiefs will win tonight giving them a strong shot at the 1-seed with a season resurgence. The Bills will miss the 1-seed by a tie-breaker. After a couple more stumbles, the Bills will finish the season strong and take the division. ......Then get bounced in the division round or AFCC game with another weird label to go with all the rest.
