  2. 2022 Week 10 vs. Vikings is one of my favorites even though we ended up losing. Two top ranked teams playing peak football. Circus catches by Diggs and Jefferson, Improbable twists, excellent commentary, It was just great football to watch.
  3. This was a memorable one for me too but for a little different reason. I was watching the game at a bar in Depew and remember that when that snow rolled into the stadium late into that game it wasn't doing anything up north where I was. However by the time I left the place, 20 minutes or so after the game had ended, the system had moved to my location and it was a rough ride home.
  4. The question ultimately becomes, “is what they did last year during the regular season sustainable?” The offense worked well until it didn’t. They didn’t have enough juice to get the score when they needed it. Their passing game regressed significantly but it was enough in the regular season. The OL was incredible as was Josh. They set a record for lowest negative plays ever. If that regresses to the mean, can they overcome it? We look at last year’s results and, if we are simple, can say it worked. If we look at all of the underlying reasons that it worked, is it reasonable to expect that again. p.s. The numbers were WAY better after the Amari acquisition.
  5. You kids and your new age pretzel logic... you know damn well that only a fool would say that, right?
  6. I disagree. We will get the 1 seed. If (for no other reason) than we will likely post a 5-1 division record. AFC Central and AFC West have all gotten better. Our division weakness gives us the inside track to the 1 seed.
  7. I see three pressures on that clip. But equally I agree with you re his pass rush arsenal. It is under developed. Great rip move but not a ton else. He had a good game vs Campbell he won his battle that day but he still has areas for development without question.
  8. ***** you, we'll discuss what we want to.
  9. That Colts Broncos game in 2022 on TNF where Al Michaels was actively ripping on the game and apologizing to the fans is the only one I've seen come close to the despair that was this sh*t show. By the way Al deserved an award for his commentary that game it was hysterical.
  10. It’s because even when the Bills have had a top defense, they still lost in the playoffs. In 2021, the Bills defense was #1 in total defense, yards per play, passing yards allowed, passing yards per play, first downs allowed per game, third down conversion rate, and points per game. We know how that season ended. So the people asking for more help for Josh still just think he can make better use of talent than the defensive coaches. And even still, most people are happy with how the first two days of the draft panned out and just wanted the Bills to try and add a weapon for Josh early on day 3 of the draft. To add someone to develop into a weapon for Josh in a year or two so we don’t have to keep signing mediocre FA at WR.
  11. I greatly appreciated the context of the rep vs. the 5’10” 270lb guard that “won” the “pass pro” matchup against Walker, who was maligned in the twitter-verse for not being able to beat such a much smaller man. It was apparent to anyone with half a clue that it was a run blocking drill and Walker not only “won” the rep, he embarrassed the guy trying to block him.
  12. They were not just good that loss cost them the 1 seed and instead of hosting Seattle they went there. We all know how that unfolded
  13. Part of the decrease in passing stats was due to the increased reliance on the ground game. We had a much more balanced offense than we have ever had with Josh as our quarterback.
  14. I was there for that one with my cousins that are huge dolphins fans. What a wild game
  15. The leftists on PPP hate America and American citizens. They are all in for china. Totally disgusting and pathetic people the leftists are. Illegals over Americans Jobs in china but not America The list goes on and on!!
  16. The No Punt game was it for me. We just missed playing SF in the SB and that game had a "coulda been" classic matchup feel to it. Was an awesome game.
  17. They scored record points for a season. I don't GAF about passing yards or a lot of other stats that fantasy footballers get hung up on. The only stat that really matters is number of wins. And if the Bills made a serious effort in the final game, would have had a 14-win regular season - a team record. Why should anyone care about passing yards? Stats are often deceptive without in-depth analysis that can provide the real story. Wins. The only stat that matters unless you're invested in the Fantasy game. Marino had amazing passing stats. You can count on zero hand his number of Super Bowl wins. Elite WRs in the FA market are usually cost prohibitive when a team is trying to have competitive balance throughout the entire team roster. The Bills best bet for a top-tier receiver is to find an affordable one in the draft. They'd either have to get real lucky or find a way to trade into the top 15. The best receivers coming out of college are usually gone by the time the Bills get to pick. The idea that the Bills should have gotten their ace receiver this offseason is a head-scratcher. Offer a viable solution. Clearly, Beane didn't see a better option. If you or anyone has a better plan for securing the elusive #1 WR, I'd love to hear it.

  19. Funny...I was scrolling through this thread and that was the exact song I was gonna add. Great choice. IMHO, Bruce's most comprehensive song. Just amazing. EDIT: And it features the greatest sax solo ever done in a rock n roll song.
  20. Bills Falcons 2017, my daughter had just come home from the NICU and my wife and I had friends in town to help us celebrate, me and the boys got to watch the game at the local Bills bar. Tre White had a long fumble return for a TD and Hauschka drilled two 50+ FGs late in the 4th to deliver the W. Only three games I remember from that magical season are that one, the last game to position us for a playoff spot (thank you Bengals) and the playoff game vs the Jags. My daughter's first Bills draft pick was Josh Allen and it has been a lot of fun ever since. Bills 23 Falcons 17 10/01/2017
  21. it’s funny how some plays stick with you. I can replay that Peters block in my mind like it was yesterday.
  22. Yes. Thanks. It was either Pat or Kyle on my mind with DT's. Strange coincidence that the Bills drafted a player with a first name Deone and a player with the last name Sanders before his kid was taken in the same draft.
  23. Not unless DQ doesn't make the team. DQ is in final year of his deal and may still have enough to get one more 2 year deal from someone else. He should be motivated to play better. With Carter moving to NT, Walker is probably the 5th DT on the team, maybe 6th after the PED cheat. Barring injury to someone else, I would not be surprised to see him a healthy scratch most of the year if DQ, Carter and the PED cheat from Pittsburgh play well. Could be game plan dependent too, if they are playing against a run heavy offense. If he is ahead of Carter on the depth chart then this kid is either really good, or Carter is a bust.
  24. This random game was a blast! The "Rickey Williams game" in 2002. He goes for 200+ and we still destroy them in a winter wonderland setting.
