  1. Past hour
  2. A team that can’t beat any of the good teams is not a sure thing to beat all of the pretty good teams imo. If they’ve truly got zero margin of error and have to beat all of Indy,Jax,Washington,Denver/lac they’re probably gonna miss. Even the raiders play them pretty tough. If the chiefs fall to a wildcard type team that jags game is hugeeee
  3. Few things are more telling than the frantic effort to distract from the Trump–Epstein files, right @BillsFanNC, @Big Blitz, @B-Man and all your bots?
  4. Based on next 4 games after this one, I'm leaning to the Ravens losing. Ravens have Texans, rams, bears, fins, vikings. Last 2 on road. Chiefs have jags, lions, raiders, commanders, bills. Bills and jags are road games. I think thr chiefs have a worse record than the ravens over those 5...like 2-3 vs 3'2 so chiefs win they both go 3-3 over next 6.
  5. I will not be rooting for the Chiefs (if that happens), I would be rooting for the Ravens to lose. I might end up saying, "let them tie". I really don't know how I will feel.
  6. Oh I know the difference far, far more than you and Biden do. Now tell us why making wild unsubstantiated and undisputably known false at the time claims about the efficacy of a novel RESPIRATORY virus vaccine is just fine when Biden did it?
  7. We don't "need" young WRs. The group we have now on offense is putting up 34 points per game. I wouldn't mind it. At every position you want to bring in young talent to develop. WR is no exception, but we don't have any special need there. As for overpaying, we are using 12% of our cap this year on WRs. That's cheap. And it seems like a tactic - historically used often by Super Bowl-winning teams to deal with having to pay a top-flight QB - of putting together a top-flight roster on both sides of the ball. One of the benefits of having an elite QB is that he can be effective and productive without expensive WRs. The Chiefs and the Brady-era Pats are the best recent examples, but there are plenty of others. Yeah, this, please.
  8. Bumping an Irv thread. Sad
  9. I know Decosta looks like a psychopath but is he usually hot stalking his player’s sideline in a demoralizing, heartbreaking loss? He looked like he was gonna cut a guy before the final whistle.
  10. I fancy this organic approach when I don't have an obvious favorite. But I can't see myself ever actively rooting for the Chiefs, unless it's some obscure playoff seeding scenario? Even then. Would need a cold shower after.
  11. Love how you left out James Cook and O'Cyrus Torrence to fit your narrative 🙄 And if Sanders still has the potential to be good, which goes without saying bc judging a player as a Rookie, let alone one that's only 3 games into their NFL career is crazy - why include them in your list along guys like Basham and Ford? I don't even think it's fair to call Bishop a Bust yet.
  12. They must still be paying the football gods back for that super rare chiefs choke against them like 3 years ago lol
  13. That would be a dream but I don't see it. Even if they lose next week, I only see 3 more losses on their schedule. Lions, Bills, 1 of the Broncos x2 or Chargers. 11-6 gets them into a wildcard spot. The realistic dream is KC at Baltimore in the wildcard.
  14. I think the Lamar fatigue is more of a Ravens thing than a Lamar thing. It feels like we've been hearing for years how great the Ravens are at team building. The narrative has been "they can only beat themselves" for awhile now. I get super sick of that. As if other teams play no role in the Ravens turning the ball over or Lamar making a ridiculous 4th and goal play where he loses 20 yards. Watch... there's still going to be a narrative out there among a significant chunk of people that the Ravens are the best team in football if they can just stop shooting themselves in the foot. One big talking point is going to be their decision NOT to go for it on 4th down countered by Detroit's 4th down decisions. Ignored will be the way Detroit handled Baltimore at the goal line on 4 downs. Lamar just gets that extra angst since he's the QB of that team.
  15. Eh, my son lives in the DMV and was at a bar for our game and he did the Zay Flowers Queen of England wave at their fans when we won … and he managed to get home okay. I probably wouldn’t have advised that… but I’m proud.
  16. With thr jets/ giants they have to put some games outside of Sunday for better scheduling flexibility. Same with the rams/ chargers.
  17. I mean getting the 1 seed is MASSIVE especially with the somewhat recently expanded playoffs that took the 2 seed bye away. It’s not luck that the patriots/chiefs often had a bye and a fairly easy home divisional game and their players are more rested and healthy for the afc championship. If the chiefs had to see us after a tough game with Baltimore they’d never beat us tbh
  18. are you a grandpa or do you just call other boomers that? Do you find being burned to death funny? I find the story inspirational and amazing. I never liked Hernandez. But I never joked about his death. Not Kirk's either.
  19. The Chiefs have been to the Super Bowl 5 times in the last 6 years. They won't care the Chiefs beat the Bills with injuries. They beat pretty much every other team they played to. So, it's not like they have only gotten there because we were injured a lot of the time
  20. Your thesis doesn't stand up to scrutiny. I Googled: does winning the turnover battle correlate to winning more games in the NFL? AI response: All QBs suffer a drop off in accuracy when they throw long (ie, how long the ball is in the air). It's one of the reasons that the great passing QBs of the 1960s and 1970s had such low completion percentages compared to today's QBs. Darryl Lamonica wasn't called "the Mad Bomber" because he threw 20 yards downfield and a WR added 40 YAC. It's more like Lamonica would heave it 50 yards through the air and the WR added 10 YAC.
  21. Clueless. Do you not realize the difference between a new vaccine for a novel virus first discovered in 2019, and vaccines that have been in clinical use for more than 60 years? DAF
  22. The good thing for the Ravens is their division is a mess.
  23. The amount of “I don’t care if people have a point” if that’s our path to the Super Bowl is indescribable. Chiefs path, more often than not, is a tomato can and a half injured McDermott Defense.
  24. Ravens. I don't want to see them again this year.
