The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Kirby Jackson replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s more of a function of Johnston looking like the 1st rounder than a JAG. Ladd may never be a star but can be a rich man’s Edelman. He’s much more explosive than most slots. To your point though, he hasn’t done much yet this year. -
Pretty absurd his "average" year is 40 TDs. 🤣

I mean it was a first down until VanDerMark tripped and whiffed on his block. But yeah...maybe a little too much confidence in your backup RT to make that type of athletic play. Against a top 5 team you wouldn't have seen this. Let's stop pretending the Bills usually have three games against good teams. Typically in those games they look like the better team.

What she said and her delivery of it was a bad combination imo. Agree to disagree

Reid Ferguson is a problem. The Defense is a problem. They are not mutually exclusive
-
Caleb Williams ain’t it. The Raiders and particularly Geno Smith literally tried to give them the football game over and over and he couldn’t take advantage of it. They won though in the end and again that’s what matters but if it wasn’t for the Titans I’d argue the Raiders are the worst team in the NFL right now

He's on pace for a very typical Josh Allen season. He's just done it for 5 years in a row, so we don't think too much about it. Projected 2025 stats: 70% completion percentage 4,097 passing yards 30 passing touchdowns 4 interceptions 675 rushing yards 13 rushing touchdowns 2024 MVP season: 63.6% completion percentage 3,731 passing yards 28 passing touchdowns 6 interceptions 531 rushing yards 12 rushing touchdowns His career 17-game average: 63.5% completion percentage 4050 passing yards 30 passing touchdowns 13 interceptions 636 rushing yards 10 rushing touchdowns

Seemed like a pretty normal "softball" question based on the interviews I have seen.
-
Right... cant I get a couple 3 of those a year and I would like to use one against the Pats...
-
I think Stafford is a pretty good play as well. Towards the tops in TDs and Yards, on a good team.
-
As much as it pains me to say it, Mahomes is going to put up some gaudy numbers once he has both Worthy and Rice back together. I'd say that would be a good bet at those odds.
-
His reaction sucked….but the reporter was baiting him in a big way. She got what she was hoping for but both look bad imo.

The Samuel part of the trade would be kind of a negative asset that the trading team has to take on. The Bills in turn would be incorporating that into the draft pick value given up - along with hopefully the improved Safety received. For instance, instead of the Bills giving up a fourth round, they give up a third round and Samuel.

This is from DraftKings. A little different from OP's odds: Josh Allen: +110 Lamar Jackson: +650 Justin Herbert: +700 Patrick Mahomes: +1000 Jalen Hurts: +1300 Jordan Love: +1600 Baker Mayfield: +1800 Matthew Stafford: +1800 Jayden Daniels: +2500 Jared Goff: +3000 Jackson is once again compiling some ridiculous stats, but that 1-3 start is going to be tough to overcome. Mayfield, Stafford, and Goff all have good value at those odds IMO. It's ridiculous that Daniels is even on the list. He's already missed 2 games with injury, and was terrible in 1 of the 2 games he did play in.

I’m not knocking your post, but it’s crazy how high Allen has set the bar for himself. When being on pace for over 40 total TDs is not considered impressive is wild. That’s basically what we’ll get this year which is almost the same as every other. Total TDs in the low 40s with about 1/3 of them on the ground. Basically an MVP year every year.

Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)
BuffaloBill replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
You would think the talent is there but maybe the culture is lacking? It’s hard to believe they are falling this hard. -
Surprised Jalen Hurts isn’t closer to top of the list. I get that he has Saquon on his team, but the award typically goes to a QB, the Eagles are the defending SB champs and are undefeated. Bills/Eagles late in the season may very much decide who wins MVP. While I’ll be rooting for the Bills or course, 14-1 on Hurts is good value versus 1-1 for Josh.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be fair to coleman... he has more yards and catches on fewer targets than ladd so far this year. Ladd's also 3rd on his team in targets despite leading all Chargers pass catchers in snaps. His statistical impact may be affected by sharing slot snaps with keenan allen. There will be some movement there, and i still expect he leads his team in targets, catches, and yards by the end of the year - but the thought that he was a superstar WR might be overblown.
