I was impossible following the Bills ‘87 season. “Bills are gonna be in the playoffs in ‘88!” A co-worker -who gambled a lot- challenged me with a $500 bet that they wouldn’t. I was scared as we had 2 small children then but I had to back up my mouth. Bills delivered in spectacular fashion, clinching the playoffs with an 11-1 record with an OT win over the Jets. The Chandlers had a great Christmas that year but I never bet much after that.

Advanced metrics in football can be flawed I would take them with a grain of salt. As a rookie I saw Keon have some struggle and some successes. Keon was a 21 year old rookie stepping into a big spot and he produced decently. He's a hard working guy with a good head for the game, I think he's gonna be better in year two but we will have to see.

“Original Sin” book release - Biden’s decline cover up
GaryPinC replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No I did not need the media to tell me that the Biden decline was showing signs even when he took office. All you needed to see was how limited his availability was, how structured and limited the questioning was, how quickly the rope could be pulled, and with all that there was still the gaffes and drifting issues, though those became more obvious later in the administration. I still feel Dem leadership set him up for that Trump debate as a sink or swim moment. All the conditions (no notes, "helpers", etc.) were totally counter to how he was handled up to that point and allowed them the excuse to pull the plug on him. And let's be clear. Biden is not a "vegetable". It's not an all or none event, it comes on slowly. Just like is happening with Trump now. There are certain periods where it will accelerate, then slow while continually progressing. As far as the media "lying", I'd rather see his wife, administration, doctors and others held accountable before the media. They were essentially guilty of fraud in multiple actions. Sadly for the Dems, Harris should have ascended to the Presidential role and ironically may have had a better chance in the election. Did the media swallow and trumpet the excuses? Absolutely. Did the media lie, at times during the admin? I'm sure, but find the most blatant times to make an example, because it will tie up too many resources to have a complete witch hunt. Focus instead on the administration. I certainly was not happy with the situation, but there is precedent. Edith Wilson, Dolly Madison and Martha Washington. Does that make it ok? No, and I'm hopeful laws and/or the constitution changes to prevent this ever again. It needs oversight. Do you realize Trump's decline is starting to show and in different ways than Biden but still occuring? Or will you continue to play the hypocrite? Wait till he hits 80 but it will progress before then. -
Call you up in the middle of the night Like a firefly without a light You were there like a blowtorch burning I was a key that could use a little turning So tired that I couldn't even sleep So many secrets I couldn't keep Promised myself I wouldn't weep One more promise I couldn't keep It seems no one can help me now I'm in too deep There's no way out This time I have really lead myself astray Runaway train never going back Wrong way on a one-way track Seems like I should be getting somewhere Somehow I'm neither here nor there we posted same time same word HA :-)))

Yesterday, I initially thought that it was likely the real reason that BIden dropped out, but if they had announced that then, Harris would have probably won due to sympathy for Biden and being seen as a natural successor instead of a choice that no one wanted. There are be other reasons why it may not have been announced until stage four, or even a chance that it could be a rare case of a fast spread. Either way, some transparency would be beneficial to everyone.

The sentiment that once the Bills finally win it all that they will finally walk away is pretty common among Bills fans. I’ve always found that perplexing and never heard a fan from another team express that same thought.

This is not true. Forget his 40 time at the combine after an injury plagued career at Maryland. He literally was one of the fastest players measured in an actual game in the past decade. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/who-10-fastest-players-nfl-next-gen-stats-era

Single game tickets - holy crap!
Royale with Cheese replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
That might be a little too nerve wracking for me. I did it for an Elton John concert and the tickets I was eyeing dropped $250 per so I snatched them up. I don't mind risking a music concert but Bills game....gotta pull the trigger earlier. I'm going to go to the Eagles game in the hopes that after Christmas, people are seeing family and spent a lot of money on gifts...tickets hopefully are cheaper. I went to the Bills/Falcons home game a few years ago right after New Years, 30 yard line, 1st row I think I paid $120 a piece. -
Single game tickets - holy crap!
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well they've done a pretty good job cleaning up fraud with the new ticketing model. The "i need tickets" guys trying to sell paper tickets that they already sold online for example, can't do that anymore. But i'd largely agree that their monopoly has broken the industry. -
They will vary dramatically....you can go to that stadium in LA for quite cheap and they have ridiculous PSL's behind them....when there is a weather game you will still be able to go for $20....although you might not want to....night games get cheaper and the price will fluctuate...I would not buy at the current prices, they will get better in almost every case.

Prostate cancer is extremely common for men in their 60’s and older. My dad just went through this so I know a bit more about it. It’s almost always caught early if you get checked .. which why would an older President not be checked, and even if not, like skin cancer or other various non-aggressive forms, is typically slow moving. Ask anyone who’s had prostate cancer and their first thought when hearing about this is “wait, what?”

What Does "Due Process" Mean?
nedboy7 replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The constitution also is written about how we treat non citizens. Having due process doesn’t mean we don’t throw your ass out. It’s called being civilized. Taking rights from anyone becomes a slippery slope. -

I’ve never been afraid of Baltimore regardless, because Jackson stinks in the playoffs.
