  1. Past hour
  2. And we played Baltimore when they were healty.
  3. Kinda similar yeah... less gritty but the purpose was the same LOL
  4. This is true but does not mean it is political. Regardless, churches and schools... Every damn time. Arm the teachers, secure the facilities.
  5. Yeah. Maye is going to be an issue this week with his legs.
  6. According to sports reference, "HIM" i assume Diggs, has not had a touchdown at all this year.
  7. Totally fair. I think that Ladd can be more. Both Keon and Ladd are better in the slot than the outside. I do think that an outside WR was the priority. Either way, there were better options and worse options which is why this conversation will never end lol.
  8. That's no ordinary rabbit! It is the most foul, cruel, bad tempered rodent you have set your eyes on! Look that rabbit got a vicious streak one mile wide it's a killer!
  9. What about Jax Dart? Where is he on this list?
  10. If the bills play like they did yesterday, NE will win.
  11. Keon Coleman seems faster this year 🤔
  12. Lamar Jackson in September. Loses to Allen, Mahomes, Goff. It doesn't matter if they win the rest of their games. They'll suck in playoffs.
  13. I made the mistake of watching the first half on TV. Bad ***** move. I turned the game off at half time, then checked the Bills App at 4:15.
  14. My wife. Other than that she’s pretty awesome, but it’s hard to get past the whole SB half time show thing. But I think the marriage can be saved with counseling.
  15. And didn’t do poorly against Kamara. It’s the mobile QBs that have hurt us as you mentioned.
  16. I mean, two years ago Brock Purdy was right near the top of the odds w CMC and potentially could have won it, if he hadn’t laid that egg against the Ravens. If Brock Purdy can get strong consideration for MVP, Jalen Hurts and his tush push make for a live bet too.
  17. Still have worn no Bills gear for every game. It’s just collecting dust in my closet.
  18. Why am I feeling the return of Haack is coming?
  19. Just let Josh punt. If Slingin' Sammy Baugh could do it, why not Josh?
  20. Same clothes all 4 games without washing (can’t wash away the karma). Two Sahlen’s (found Sahlen’s here in Indiana!) with Ted’s sauce and onion, one beer before and one during the game. Sit in the exact same chair and ring the Bills’ cowbell with each TD.
  21. Despite the protestations of all within nose-shot (like earshot?... no?... then what?) I again refused to wash my old, used-to-be-red Bills hat. I don't wear gear during the game since I've determined at gametime it's all jinxed, but this is my favorite piece of Bills apparel at other times. I wear it a lot. I sweat a lot. It doesn't smell good. It's bad enough that it's starting to make me think twice about wearing it because whatever is hiding in the band in the hat mixes with my sweat and is now like gasoline in my eyes... really bad smelling gasoline. But the football gods have spoken... it is not to get thrown in the laundry until the magic has worn off!!!
  22. Long snappers usually don't block the initial rush at all, right?
  23. I agree. Our WR group is below average. Shakir is almost invisible during games. This”everybody gets to eat” offensive game plan is terrible for a high school team, absolutely ridiculous for a nfl team. Our rookies can’t seem to get on the field, our DL is a joke. Has anyone checked Daquan Jones for a pulse? A corpse falling over would put up a better run defense than that guy. Absolutely dreadful!!! Thank GOD the afc is a joke this year. That might be the biggest thing going for us now.
  24. Because yardage stats are often misleading, and don't tell the whole story. The teams we have played so far are mostly run-first teams (Baltimore, New York, New Orleans), and/or have some of the worst starting QBs in the entire league (New York, New Orleans). Plus, they are absolutely gashing us on the run... so there hasn't been much reason to attack us that way. Again... most teams are going to attack where a team is the weakest. When a team can't tackle, they are going to test you with the rushing attack and short passes that rely on YAC. Plus (as I said previously), we have played against Justin Fields, Tua Tagovailoa and Spencer Rattler -- not exactly guys known for aggressively attacking defenses downfield. Lamar Jackson spent 85% of the game handing off and playing with a big lead. When the opposing QB drops back to pass, he's got a clean pocket and plenty of time (over 2 seconds) to throw. Or the D-Line over-pursues, gives up contain and allows them to take off running. And the secondary isn't doing a good job of defending passes once it's been released. From what I've seen, teams haven't had much trouble throwing when they need to do it, regardless of what the stats say. For example... It won't count in the stat book, but the Saints should have taken the lead yesterday with 9 minutes left. On 3rd-13, we got zero pass rush and Brandin Cooks beat his man. Rattler just made a poor pass. That kind of play counts as a positive stop for our pass defense, when it was really just a bad job by the quarterback. My worry is that our schedule doesn't really give the defense much of a real test, and stats are going to be skewed most of the season. Our next three opponents are Drake Maye, Michael Penix and Bryce Young. Very good chance our passing rankings will be pretty good by the end of the year. And then we head into the postseason to face Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson.
