  1. Past hour
  2. That's something that the coaches will have to weigh But if there's not much time left in a game.. and you got no timeouts and you're going quick down the field you might just be able to get to the 38 or 40.. so it might be 55 to 59 occasionally If you can adjust your offense to where you're only trotting out the kicker at 50 and below... And you might be going for it on 4th and ones or 4th and twos from the 40 That can potentially work Again the only drawback is if you have to try it out your kicker from 57 for the win... We might have to be throwing a hail Mary at that point which Tyler Bass from 57 is still much higher possibility than a hail Mary Also maybe he gets some strength back in his leg and maybe in a week or two he can hit from 57
  3. The Jets looked like a competent team versus the Steelers. They seem better coached than any Jet game I saw last year. That's a low bar, but the Jets had a good chance to win.
  4. Well I hope Beane waits till a bit closer to the end of the season than very soon 1 game. does not a season make it's a long way to the end especially if they go to the play offs which I'm thinking they will again ... I'm sure if Bosa stays healthy and his production stays the same or gets a bit better that Beane will be talking to him .
  5. I bet that kid watches games on illegal streams. I know the type. No morals.
  6. The answer is both. The Ravens opened the door when they shouldn’t have and the Bills executed down the stretch to win it
  7. Yes Hoecht will help when he comes back but Ogunjobi will not contribute much.
  8. On paper? A lot. On heart? None at all.
  9. I did this a couple years ago and it has turned out to be a great move for me. I’ll be 42 in Feb and I spent 17 years with the same company that I started with a couple weeks after graduating from undergrad. This work was in a highly specialized / niche type industry that wasn’t directly related to my degree, but it was an opportunity to earn some money while deciding what my next move would be. This was a family owned company that I had a connection into and I eventually worked my way up from an entry level position into management. I was very well compensated but was very unhappy (hard to explain concisely). I became married to the paycheck and just kept plugging along dispute many years of unhappiness, red flags, and my gut telling me to do something different. i eventually found a masters program that was mostly online and in a field that was very interesting to me in an emerging industry. It also allowed me to get back to my science background from undergrad (where I had underperformed overall due to screwing around too much freshman year and having to play “catchup” on my GPA, which is what originally put me in a tough position post graduation and was the main factor for me taking my previous job). I was able to still work full time while completing the masters degree in 2 years (including summers) and after I graduated I quit my job. I didn’t even have anything lined up yet but I was mentally done and needed to escape. Luckily my wife has a great job and we had planned ahead for a possible extended period of unemployment for me as I made the career change, so we were prepared financially.! I eventually landed the exact type of job I was hoping to by going back to school and it has been a blessing. I’m now a state employee and while the money isn’t near what I was making, I’m infinitely happier and have so much more flexibility in my life to spend time with my wife and son. I’m only a 15 months in and it sounds like there’s already opportunities for advancement on the horizon which would put me back in the realm of my previous earnings. Most importantly, I actually like my job now. It’s not easy by any means but it’s exciting, fast paced, and is a great marrying of my skills from my old job and the knowledge I obtained from my masters program. If you can swing this move financially, I highly suggest going for it. You are younger than I was and I regret not making the move sooner for my own mental health and wellbeing. It took a lot of hard work going back to school after 15-16 years off but it all worked out in the end. Hoping it will for you as well, so good luck!
  10. Yea. Like a true addict. Love it
  11. It was a solid performance, hopefully he can build on it. I already said I hope I’m wrong about him and he goes for 1200 yds an 10+ TDs obviously. The way people care about being “right” is so weird. We all have our opinions, but nobody was rooting against Keon so the whole premise of this thread is kinda obtuse. If I’m not mistaken, we’re all fans of the same team and we all would like nothing more than for Keon Coleman to be an all pro hall of fame WR. Victory Monday after a historic opening day win, and your thought was “lemme start a (wayyyy to early) I told you so thread about Keon Coleman”??? I guess we all celebrate in our own special way…
  12. True, but also assumes we'd stop the Ravens from getting just one first down - I was a little surprised Ravens weren't a little more aggressive in that spot. But I can't blame them for punting on 4th and 3 (particularly given Lamar had just gotten clobbered by Big Ed).
  13. Unless they needed to call up another 2 players from the PS. Yet I tend to agree wait on the decision is ultimately the best plan.
  14. Your avatar is a riot. Hamilton is a freak on the back end. And McDuffie is pretty dam good also. Elam never panned out for us. He got beat on the long pass against the Eagles. But I did not follow him the entire game. I hope for his sake he becomes a solid NFL player. He doesn't seem to have a lot of twitchiness. You watch him, and then you watch Duron Bland or Christian Benford, and they just look a whole lot more athletic. I see Elam's high end as a poor man's Leodis McKelvin. But I liked McKelvin's game more than a lot of peoples.
  15. Stay focused, Bills! Stay focused!
  16. I feel like it's been pretty balanced, honestly (outside of Baltimore, anyway). Plenty of pundits giving the Bills, and Josh Allen especially, high praise. As it should be. But, it's undeniable that the Ratbirds monumentally crapped the bed, and for that, they should, and have been roundly criticized. As it should be.
  17. I’ve had the same thought, but is the potential of a 58 yard field goal more important than consistency? We could lose a playoff game due to Prater not having the strength of Bass, but Bass could cost us when he starts getting weird with extra points.
  18. Don't sleep on the Jets. They give Josh enough hell as is.
  19. Show me that proof and methodology
  20. Thanks so much for showing that. Made a great day even better. EEEEEEEED!!!!!
  21. Looking at him, I wonder if he is a teenager?
  22. I'm late on this thread , but I don't think it's been talked about enough how huge that forced fumble was that he caused. Pushed the Ravens back at a pretty critical time
  23. @B-Man is busy trashing the American media, and @BillsFanNC is smearing Josh Allen comparing him to Whiskey Pete and they want to distract from the very fact that Trump is a pedophile. Absolutely sick.
  24. Personally, i don't care much about what they look like about bad teams. This defense has been padding their stats against weak teams for years and then doing nothing against elite teams. That was a different story yesterday. There are only 3-4 teams we have to show up against, and I hope we've finally built a roster capable of doing that. Without a significant improvement in safety play, I am a bit worried though.
