Playing the Lions without Lamar makes the Ravens suffering a fifth loss this weekend seem likely if not inevitable. They would then be 1-5 at their bye. Even before their plague of injuries, they didn't play like a team that could 9-2 over their last 11 games.

If we aren't good enough to beat the Falcons, none of this matters, and I hate to say it, but it might be in our best interest to be in a position where we can draft and/or sign an actual difference maker on DEFENSE because we have been in the same damn boat since 2019-2020 and we know how that story ends every single time. For a while it was Allen and Diggs Now it's Allen and Cook (who I'd argue is better because Cook actually shows up in the playoffs) But meanwhile, our defense has become worse. Somehow. This defense has never had a DL that is capable of causing chaos in the post-season. You think KC wins any of those Super Bowls without Chris Jones? MAYBE the first one, but DEFINITELY not the last two...

Dart seems to have that special something that makes great QBs. He reminds me of Josh Allen as a rookie when Allen's most distinguishing traits was his leadership and will to win. Dart is far more polished than Allen at this point but I think his early success is much more dependent on his leadership and ability to ad-lib than to his skills, although those are significantly better than most young QBs. He seems more like Jayden Daniels than CJ Stroud.

What did I do to cause the loss? I believed they could go undefeated. Talk about jinxing a snake-bitten franchise...

I'm not sure, we'd have to go back and look at all of those catches to see how many air yards there were for each. Obviously, we know that Shakir and Cook get a ton of YAC, but I would venture to guess that most of Keon's 20+-yard catches were more air yards than YAC (same for Palmer and probably Kincaid too, and Hawes' couple of grabs, and Knox---I don't remember a ton of YAC for those players--i.e., taking say a 5-yard pass and turning it into a 25-yard play). But, in the long run, how much does it matter if you get say 25 yards that is all in the air, or 25 yards with a short pass and YAC. 25 yards is 25 yards, right?
