  1. Past hour
  2. The fact that he took on Henry shows how Strong he is.
  3. Google, what is an example of delusion?
  4. McDermott talked about it some in his presser today about 5:20. The rule is if the QB is in the pocket, then it's illegal contact (illegal touching) to force Coleman out of bounds. I think the play would still not count, but there would have been a penalty and I think they would replay the conversion attempt. But if the QB is out of the pocket, then the contact is not a foul, Coleman was out of bounds, and the catch didn't count because he was the first to touch the ball after being out and coming back in. At least I think that's what McDermott was alluding to. The key with illegal contact is the QB must be in the pocket. As I understand it.
  5. With Rapp, I think what we see is what we'll continue to get. He is smart enough. He's tough and physical, but is not that athletic and has seriously below average speed. That makes him an automatic liability in coverage. The faster and more athletic the receiver, the more Rapp's liability shoes up. Still, as a veteran, there are things Bishop can learn from him. As far as run support is concerned, I think the Bills probably asked their safeties to do more of it against the Ravens than they usually ask of their safeties thanks to Derrick Henry. That might make him a bit rusty.
  6. One step ahead!
  7. If our D is flawed what is the Raven's D with multiple all-pros, pro bowlers and 7 first round picks on it?
  8. Eagles FO is fascinating
  9. I’m really starting to hate the eagles!
  10. Spotting the ball in the NFL is about as accurate as an MLB strike zone. We always seem to get screwed by a yard or so. Someday technology will fix that like the soon to be digital strike zone. Someone might want to re-train these refs. It's where the ball is when the knee hits. They're marking it at the knee spot.
  11. Are you giving Caleb credit for 7 points from the pick-6 thrown by McCarthy?
  12. Been to a few yankees playoff games and 1 world series, the atmosphere is electric, I still feel it's a different vibe in orchard park
  13. Flowers being out in the playoff game def helped a lot…their receivers were not threats at all and could be single covered without help pretty easily Hopkins/flowers was a pretty big upgrade over Bateman/tylan Wallace/other random dudes
  14. Nice. Hadn’t seen that hit
  15. Smart move for the Eagles. Trying to protect Barkley from getting close to 400 touches again this season.
  16. Ah!! I assumed this must be it. Glad to know that wasn't a mistake by the refs.
  17. It's his first ever game as a head coach and he just led an offense with a bottom tier QB to more points than his previous team scored in their week 1 matchup. Once they move on from Williams next year he'll be able to show what he can really do in that position.
  18. I thought it was so cool to see how happy he was when we won and saying so in the locker room after - that it’s the happiest he’s ever felt after a win.
  19. I’m in two. Took the Broncos in one and the Jags in one. Who plays the Saints this week? I don’t like road teams but the Giants are so bad. Edit: I see the Giants are actually at Dallas. That might be a go.
  20. Another test for the run D, but Allen & Co. should put up enough to get the job done.
  21. Rapp was the bigger problem yesterday…both were problems though. I think you’ve gotta roll with bishop and get him reps…he’s no worse than Hamlin he’s just different lol. If bishop diagnoses a play correctly he’s got the physical skills to make a play but Hamlin really has no chance despite being the smarter player right now
  22. We may have waited 16 months since he was drafted, but Cole Bishop hasn't had all that much time to receive on the field instruction. He was injured at the end of July at training camp last season. I don't remember for sure, but I think he missed a good part of it. Once the 2024 season started, the coaches didn't have the luxury of devoting a lot of time to teaching young players the fundamentals with the same intensity that they do in training camp. A rookie who's been hurt has to pick up what he can while the team focuses on game preparation. Then he missed a good chunk of training camp this season. It is certainly valid to wonder if Bishop is going to have to deal with the suspicion that he could be injury prone, but he still hasn't had the instruction time that a typical rookie gets in his first training camp. If he doesn't show improvement through the season, I will start to wonder if he can be an answer to the Bills need at safety, but I'm not worried yet.
  23. My God When Brown was released from prison, Brown's mom says "he started saying weird things." She says she got Brown evaluated but his behavior became aggressive so she got an involuntary commitment order from the courts. He was placed under psychiatric monitoring for two weeks and diagnosed with schizophrenia. But after he was released she says Brown became so aggressive she had to kick him out. He became homeless. In January, Brown was arrested for misusing the 911 system. Police say he called from the hospital and claimed someone gave him "man made material" that controlled when he "ate, walked and talked." Despite his criminal past and homelessness, Magistrate Teresa Stokes allowed him to be released from jail on a written promise to appear. In court last month on this charge, his public defender questioned Brown's mental capacity. Judge Roy Wiggins ordered a forensic evaluation. Brown's mom says the court should have never let her son be out in the community knowing he had mental health issues and previous arrests. CMPD's community policing team was well acquainted with Brown. They encountered him three times in 2024 and referred him to resources each time. CMPD has still not answered my questions asking what these resources are, if he accepted any of them, if police have any recourse if they keep encountering someone who refuses help and why Brown wasn't arrested if he was accused of criminal activity. Meanwhile in NYC, it’s next mayor says he’s bringing negligent policy like this to you:
