  1. Past hour
  2. It’s unique, but it’s not cool. Would rather always have a clear winner.
  3. The reason I like 10 minutes better than 15 is that it gives each team an opportunity to employ strategies to win the game without the coin flip having an outsized impact. If they increase the time to 15 minutes, Green Bay probably receives instead of kicks on the coin toss. They score a FG, Dallas scores a FG. Now there's 5 minutes left for Green Bay to march down the field... essentially the coin flip giving them the ability to control sudden death. With 10 minutes... there's a higher likelihood of 2 possessions, meaning you could have scenarios like going for 2 after a TD to break a tie, milking the clock to prevent a third possession (like GB did here), etc. It's more interesting from a strategic point of view and puts more power into the team's hands to determine the outcome over a coin flip.
  4. Seems like there are at least one a year now when it was exceedingly rare for decades.
  5. McD is a good leader of men and I think he's a quality HC. But he needs to get a Jim Schwartz type hire and be hands off. We need to get bigger and more physical on D. Pretty much any team can run at will on us if they commit to it. They rely too much on turnovers. Can't get any heat with front 4. Maybe we're overreacting. Saints only put up 19. Not terrible. But the defense just isn't passing the eye test at this point.
  6. So BB rapping four tunes will significantly improve ratings for the SB? 🤷🏻‍♂️
  7. Lmao - $47m per year(franchise QB money), 2 first round picks, and a pro bowl DT for a one dimensional pass rush specialist - just to go 0-1-1 against the Browns and Cowboys - who dropped a 40 piece despite not having their best offensive weapon in CeeDee Lamb. That kind of comp you better be adding wins to the win column to the degree a QB does. And not only is he not having that kind of impact, they aren’t even winning lol. I didn’t think he was worth anything close to what he got, and I still don’t. I said it before when the trade happened, that I didn’t think this moved the needle much for the Packers and that the Lions and Eagles are still better. And so far, nothings happened to change my mind.
  8. White had a horrible first half, but he shook it off and came out flying to the ball in the second half, making a number of key tackles, especially the 4th down on Kamara.
  9. I thought it was great. No problem with this game ending in a tie.
  10. Punting is just surrendering anyway.
  11. I like them and it kinda feels like a player safety thing
  12. I went today...then drove 6 hours post game back to Westchester. Wasn't on the boards as I was there. So haven't drilled in to the chatter here yet I am still mystified about the clock management and play calls near end of game. Yes Bills were up by 2 scores but ... Had a chance to run a running play, get it down to 2 minute warning, then kick the FG after the 2 minute warning. Why ?? Bothered me the entire way down. This game had "Any Given Sunday" written all over it. Would have sucked to make that drive after a loss.
  13. He is beyond huge. the audience he will pull for the game will be immense.
  14. Can’t wait… does he rap about B & W’s just in Spanish 🤷🏻‍♂️
  15. Because "Social Media Detectives" have a great track record of being right about things.
  16. Old guys yell at clouds. Story at 11
  17. Am I alone in thinking ties are kinda cool?! They're a cool novelty & relic from the past when they used to be much more common. It's like spotting a non-native bird in your backyard or seeing someone with all their teeth in West Virginia!
  18. Think he took a shot early in season on illegal play. More to protection than just him. I recall a bad snap never.. so we can discuss. But I say carry on ..
  19. I think he got bowled over the last time we got the roughing the kicker call…
  20. He did the Grammys a couple years back. I couldn’t understand a word he was saying.
  21. And of course Josh Allen tied Cam Newton with the most games with at least 1 passing and rushing TD with 45. And yet the last 3 games for as "bad" as they may have looked at times they have averaged allowing 16.5 PPG and 243 YPG, with all 3 teams held under 300 yards of offense. The defense is not as bad as we think it is. It isn't great, but it also isn't as bad as many think.
  22. Yeah probably better to take the tie on the last play, but they felt like they were playing for it. Could have been a bit more aggressive for a few plays before that, unless they were hoping for a tie at that point.
  23. Maybe we can secretly switch him for his brother, the other Ferguson Long Snapper?
  24. Agree both teams had opportunities to win in that time.. neither punched it in for TD. GB clock management was so bad!!!
