  1. Past hour
  2. Careful you will be labeled as extreme overreacting, unhinged, and having a meltdown. Questioning, or having concerns towards a player, coach, or gm is not appreciated.
  3. There is a distinct lack of physicality on the DL, for certain. They get pushed around far more than they ought to.
  4. I also can't argue with that
  5. It’s exactly this completely irrational dislike of Hamlin that I don’t get. No matter how bad anyone else played… it doesn’t seem to matter. Hell, If we’re stuck just playing 10 guys on defense… it’s all good just cut Hamlin. ??? I don’t get it!! He started every game last year and we made it to the championship game… now. He can’t even tie his shoes, he’s so bad.
  6. No one is supposed to care about play in a preseason game , but every practice session there are new threads here breathlessly updating us as to who has made “ plays” versus air….. but that’s positive news in the main, so all ok there..

  8. I'm hoping White and Buechelle are cut and the Bills scour the wire at cutdown time for a young QB for the practice squad. I would keep Mitch. I actually feel like if he had to start a few games mid season that Brady could craft a gameplan that he could Trubisky could run successfully.
  9. That game last night hit you hard huh?
  10. Yup. As a second stringer, Trubisky is above average. When you look at other teams' backups, you see why. There really aren't even 32 starting-caliber QBs in the league as it is.
  11. If that's how he played last year, no one is picking up that contract. If anyone's trading for him, the Pats would have to eat a fair amount of money along with it.
  12. But if they haven't seen Rocky and Rocky II they will be completely lost! This is reckless advice.
  13. https://www.propublica.org/article/us-officials-stock-sales-trump-tariffs I believe this is above the law though. Maybe its fake news.....
  14. The Sabres? People talk the Sabres? What do they talk about? Oh, yes, that's right, the INSANE talent pipeline in Rochester I've always admired your persistence in following that team.
  15. I’d like to think the posters here are a bit more advanced than the usual social media active fan (they’re probably not) but I’m not at all upset about the outcome, but I am concerned about some of our valuable depth players who decided to take the night off. Some of these dudes will play meaningful snaps at some point in the upcoming season, and last evening wasn’t a comforting display.
  16. My prediction for the game
  17. You don't cut Mitch Trubiski. Mike White, on the other hand, is pretty terrible.
  18. Got to exhaust every avenue that’s available. Not to say there isn’t other problems on the team but the ones that are going to cost us points/games going by last year and the moves made are still the secondary. There’s still some decent vets on the market who have a few years left in the tank; Marcus Williams, Von Bell, Justin Simmons and Whitehead for the Safety positions (all are FS except Whitehead who moved between each role on the backend in his career) Might be time to place a call to Asante Samuel Jr., Kendall Fuller or Emmanuel Moseley a call for the CB position if the backups and depth guys put on the same show they did against Chicago again in Tampa. Essentially from what’s reported the play was by Dugger last season, no point giving up assets when there’s guys who have had just as much capability/production in the league and at a cheaper price.
  19. He didn’t play for Carolina, so he ain’t on Beane’s radar
  20. Ah PFF. I don't really take that very seriously. They graded him poorly on pass defense in the regular season (but 9th out of 171 in run defense: https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/taylor-rapp/51172), but they did the same to Tre White in his best years and when the Bills essentially led the league in pass D (or were close to it). He was a first team all-pro on the league's best pass defense in 2019 but they didn't even rate him among their top 100 players. The Bills' pass D tends to fare poorly according to their metrics because they play off and allow a lot of short completions and focus on preventing big plays. Rapp played five quarters in the playoffs and Denver had 224 yards and the ball for 18:17. Anyway, you and I are going to disagree. He's just not that bad, and exaggerating his badness to catastrophize the situation isn't convincing. Mind you, I'm not saying he's *good*, and yes, the Bills need a better player at the safety position. But he did start for a good Rams defense for years and has a Super Bowl ring. If he's your second best safety, you're not in horrible shape. He's a league-average starter and barring injury is likely to have a ten-year career. He is a LOT better than Hamlin, of course.
  21. Orioles are playing decent now so not the pushover they were in the first part of the season when they imploded
  22. If I say last night's game was a complete trash performance from game plan, to the execution of said game plan, to the players on the field, does anyone disagree with me in any, way, shape, or form? If you do, I have no idea what game were watching. We were horrendous, all except for Hancock and the Punter. That is not an overaction, that is an honest take. Thankfully, many of those guys will not be seeing meaningful snaps come the regular season, if they even make the team, because the suck. And if any of those guys do see snaps, the rest of the players around them will be better. They couldn't do a single thing right last night. It was rough to watch, even for a Preseason game.
  23. I’d go with Rocky 4 … our opponent would retort “they are like a piece of iron”
