We’ve been getting some help for my dad, and one thing I found useful was the carers card uk. It helps show that you're a carer, and some places offer discounts or priority services because of it. I didn’t even know about it until someone in a support group mentioned it. Definitely worth looking into if you’re doing a lot of daily support on your own.

I'm a poor man's son from across the railroad tracks Only should I own this hair on my back But I'm the envy of every single guy Since I'm the apple of my girl's eye When we go out stepping on the town for a while My money's low and my suit's out of style But it's all right if my clothes aren't new Out of sight, because my heart is true

Week 10, Bills v. Fish, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Bill from NYC replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tua is done. I have watched Tua since his first appearance at Alabama. Not only has he suffered numerous concussions, his arm isn't what it used to be. I watched him play last week and they were only trying short routes. Too many serious injuries. Tua is a great guy by all reports. A total gentleman. Now, he is saying odd things at press conferences. He needs to retire. I wish that he would step away before this game to avoid further damage. He made enough money. It is painful to watch him risking his future. Again, he is done. Enough is enough. -

Bills fans need to get out of the Rich/Ralph mindset and understand they are about to have an elite stadium experience. -

Hookers are cheap... It's the blow that's expensive. ...You know, tariffs. 😆🤣 -
FWIW. We are in an age when standards are being thrown out the window. I wouldn't trust any past norm to hold true anymore. Everything is being interrupted.
-
It was the only later afternoon game, so naturally the viewer numbers were high. I can't recall another time when there was a single late afternoon game. It was for all intents and purposes a nationally televised game, being shown in every market in America.

Going to the game in Miami this Sunday - Suggestions?
flomoe replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just know that the Sun, in Miami or anywhere in Florida, in November is ALOT different than the Sun in September, especially post Daylight Savings. The Sun shouldn’t be directly overhead during the game so only some sections will be in direct sunlight early in the game. If you want to get a little color while tailgating, don’t even bother with the sunscreen, you’ll be fine. Put a little on your nose or ears if you’re really worried. -
30.8 Million watched the Bills Chief's game
BillsFanForever19 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
20 million of the 30.8 were very unhappy? Huh? Most fans of other teams I know *hate* the Chiefs. There's no way 2/3 of the people watching that game were rooting on Kansas City. There were def more rooting on Buffalo than KC and probably a lot more with no dog in the fight that walked away happy just to see another Allen/Mahomes "must see TV" matchup that delivered (as always). Ain't no way PFT is labeling the Chiefs "the new America's Team" bc of the ratings. The big ratings for the Eagles and Bills facing them have more to do with a matchup of known good teams and for tuning in to see the Chiefs get beat. -
Some thoughts. Regarding age, see B-52. Introduced 70 years ago. Airplane parts are not simply purchased without having to meet standards, no matter the supplier. It appears the uncontrolled damage from the no. 1 engine impacted the no.2 engine, resulting in insufficient thrust to remain airborne. Aircraft wing mounted engines are designed to separate from the aircraft before causing damage to the wing/flight controls. It shouldn'tbe too hard to figure out why the no. 1 engine separated. Regarding insurance, I'm not sure how UPS handles this, but most US airlines, since 9-11, are self insured. Flying boxes is way more profitable than flying people, and cargo aircraft are a lot less expensive.

Not scared, I just figured we would lose somewhere in that stretch.

Why are people so scared of Pittsburgh?
-
It's funny how different things look in a few weeks. No offense but the OP seems laughably pessimistic now... To do it from the vantage of Nov 7: @Miami - W Tampa - Tampa playing alright, but I feel we get them at home W @Houston - Great defense but we can bully great defenses and our defense is rolling. W @Pittsburgh - Sooner or later we slip up L Cincinnati - W. @New England - no way we don't come out fired up for this one. Bills love to crush when it matters W @Cleveland - W Philadelphia - Feel like we will let one slip here L New York Jets - W I don't think this is crazy, we would end up 13-4. If we really take care of business, 14-3. No 1 seed in play.

still don’t understand why the chiefs did not lose a timeout for challenging a call that was not reviewable.
