FA's over 30: You may only pick 2
GASabresIUFan replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d bring back Poyer for depth and mentoring on a cheap deal. Shaq has earned a new contract. The punter has been fine and he sounds like a Buffaloian Bosa has been solid, but I’m not sure we can fit him under the cap. -
Let’s talk about this Drake “marvelous “ Maye 😅

I am pretty sure that Sean McDermott is only going to hire a defensive coordinator who runs a defensive system that is similar to the one McDermott is known for. I don't know that he's going to limit himself to offensive coordinators who are spineless, but I think McDermott has a particular philosophy and he wants an offensive coordinator who reflects that philosophy. -
All students at my wife's center receive 1 on 1 lessons. All of her teachers are trained in Orton Gillingham at a minimum of 30 hours of classroom training. Most have 70 hours. Each lesson is designed specifically for the individual student to meet them where they are at. We have seen amazing success going to this method. For years we used the Barton Reading and Spelling Method, and we have 2 teachers that have Master's Level training in Barton. But once a student is stuck at a specific lesson in Barton, there's no real direction on how to get them unstuck. With my wife's teachers writing their own lessons, when a student is stuck on a particular area, the teachers know what to do in helping the student get through their problem area and to advance.

Not sure if the walls are closing, but judge Cannon has 30 days to rule on releasing the Jack Smith report. trump, as usual hired the worst attorney, and hurt his chances. All he had to do is throw Cannon a bone, pretty much anything but this: In Tuesday's filing, an attorney representing Trump in his private capacity urged Judge Cannon to extend her order delaying the Smith report's release, arguing it would "perpetuate Jack Smith's unlawful criminal investigations and proceedings." It's not possible to "perpetuate the investigations and proceedings", because the case has already been dismissed by her, and the investigation ended. She can't rule in favor of that. He better hope she makes up some nonsense again.

Tyrell Shavers and blocking as a WR
Matt_In_NH replied to Bufffalo_Bills_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
The bills are revolutionizing a new position. Introducing the “Wide Blocker” -
The primary issue with the offense is that the Bills have the league's worst WR corps. The second greatest issue has been Kincaid being unavailable. When targeted he's been absurdly impactful (155 passer rating when targeted) and IMO they may still be the #1 seed in the AFC. But the fact that a never-great player like Kincaid can tip the scales illustrates how Brady(and Allen) have just had a very small margin for error as a result of these things. The Pittsburgh game was interesting in that fans got to see Allen make an egregious pre-snap mental error that lead to the interception that was targeted to Davis and then got to see him turning down wide open....but longer throws....in favor of more ball-safe options. When you have to win on the ground and don't have anyone who can bail you out downfield on 3rd and 11's after a running back mades a bad decision or an OL gets a false start.......you REALLY can't afford to turn the ball over. That's the primary difference between the offense this year and last year. Last year they had guys like Cooper and Hollins who teams had to respect in Cooper's case........or be surprisingly burnt by in Hollins case. And they didn't turn the ball over. Even then, when they faced better teams in the playoffs they couldn't pass the ball effectively. That's a personnel issue not a coordinator issue.

Does anyone remember that San Diego Chargers team that finished both first in total Offense and Defense, but somehow still missed the playoffs at 9-7?

Currently 6th in points for and twelfth in points against. The only stats that matter imho.

Ya Digg? replied to Bufffalo_Bills_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look I get it, in order to get big gains in the run game your wide receivers have to block, but ever since Mac “blocking is the best/only thing I do as a wide receiver” Hollins was on the team, there is such a weird obsession with wide receiver blocking. I miss the days when we looked forward to our wide receivers, you know, catching the ball -

Hes another summer add-on id bring back if the draft and initial wave of FA washes out and he’s available. -
The Bills haven't had a game yet this season where they didn't play sloppy for at least a half.

I voted for none. I could see the argument made to bring back some of these guys in the summer, such as DaQuon Jones or Shaq Thompson, and even Tre White, as they’re likely coming cheap at that point we’ll after the initial wave of FA. None should be signed pre draft. I think an aging and injury riddled Bosa will likely be a bad investment, despite the handful of splash plays he’s provided. I’m not thoroughly against it, but I would like to see how they’d work the deal. Sign me up for DE in round 1 next year, and continuing to get younger and faster across the board. Hard no on Ogunjobi. -
I heading to the Big 10 championship game. 1st 12-0 season for the Hoosiers and first Big 10 Championship. Can’t wait.

I am getting less confident, but yes, I believe he does. I am holding out hope that he is still hampered by the injuries, and still has some upside over his current level of play. Maybe I am just clinging to what I saw when he was playing at an all-pro level not too long ago. -

I would believe you. McDermott only wants yes men. Not any OC or DC with a backbone
