PSA: Readers of an advanced age might want to refer to the Mitch Morse thread.

Do you see the Pats* winning any of those Bills games, or the Bills losing any of the Pats games? Me, neither. That doesn't necessarily mean the Bills are better, but neither does it mean the Pats are. Funny how fans and pundits don't really take such key details into account before spouting hyperbole. Allen gets hammered by an elite Texans pass rush, while Maye plays pitch and catch against the weakest three teams in the league, and they conclude that Maye is as good as Allen, maybe better. It's like they're little children shouting out answers in third grade.

Hits to the head vs the QB. They were known for this kind of crap for years and are right back to it. The Bills will be ready for it.

This season I tend to find the perfect volume where I can hear the crowd noise but the announcers are barely audible. I also tend to mute the commercials and sometimes don't realize there isn't any sound for awhile after the game starts back up... I like it better this way.

the art of the deal........used car salesman edition
Mike in Horseheads replied to Sweats's topic in Off the Wall
A salesman I knew for a long time was going away for the weekend when I really wanted my 2003 Jeep. Told me not to worry about it, it will still be here on Monday. So I show up on Monday and don't see it. I find the guy and he says I told ya not to worry, opens up a desk drawer and waves the keys. "Nobody was selling the car without these". He had stashed it on one of their other lots. -
What cheap shot did they have against the giants?
-
There is little doubt that Vrabel has brought back the “ cheap shot” that NE used for many years. Allen is used to it and any such antics won’t be taken lightly. The Officials were pretty awful in that NYG game ( and the first Bills /NE game earlier this year ) but I think they’ll be on point today with a better crew. Besides, Allen is used to it. He’ll be fine.

Wrecks Ryan wanted to build the Bills like that, but it would have cut into the 4:00 p.m. fresh donuts at Krispy Kreme. 🤨

Week 15, Bills v. Cheats, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Cheats 31 Fathers to be 16 -
This roster is very flawed but I think people including the experts are becoming a bit melodramatic. We lack a playmaking wideout on the outside, and the defense has a lot of holes. I think the biggest issue is defense. We haven’t drafted well and start guys who should be backups. The offense has a good line, elite running backs, and two good tight ends. Maybe I’m missing something, but every NFL team has a lot of holes these days. That being said, our draft choices haven’t been great, especially the defense.

All the games count the same. The teams who earn the #1 seed generally come to play as readt for the fifth game of the season in the same way they do the 15th game of the season. The Patriots had the same pressure the first time they played the Bills. This is not an elimination game for the Patriots. They will be ready to play. But they are not under some immense pressure. It is fair to say they are untested. Its not clear the Bills have been fully tested either. Other than our loss to the Patriots we have not played a game against any of the currently projected divisional winners this season (corrected, the Steelers, whom the Bills beat). The Texan's are in the hunt. But the Bills failed that test too. The Bills have more pressure on them, than the Patriots. Hopefully that fuels them to victory.

Is there Beane/McDermott Tension???

First I heard of this bully ball, but I got to say I wouldn’t mind that being a label the Bills had.
-
Another worry is that Vrabel will prep his defense to hit Allen as hard as possible every time he runs, not just tackle him but punish him. I say that because of the way he exulted, meanly, in Ellis' hit on Dart and how he implied he would never let his quarterback "put his shoulder down like that." Why, Mike? With his punchable face in mind, I can't help but think he wants to hurt Allen, in part because deep down he's afraid, rightfully so, of his extraordinary running ability. A very good coach but small in character, is my read of Vrabel. Someone who would sucker punch you in a bar.

We need to be prepared for the Pats to attempt bully ball today. what they did to the giants was not a one-off. Vrabel coaches cheap shots. Will be interesting to see how we respond.

WR/KR Mecole Hardman Placed on IR
Ridgewaycynic2013 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently he's on Beane's 'naughty' list. He didn't rate a walking (turf toe) shoe. 🙁 -
Self inflicted diversity is not all it is cracked up to be. Bills and Pats are both in the upper echelon of easiest schedule this season.

You talking Bills, or are you talking Sabres? 🤔
