Replay of Bills/Stillers on NFLN tonight at 8:15pm (Mon-Dec 1)

Mad respect for a man that sticks to his principles! -
Lol you’re cute if you think McClappy is a better coach. Fun fact Caleb Williams is often described as "wild" or having "houdini" tendencies due to his unconventional, improvisational playing style which tends to get him in trouble. In a short period of time “Benny” has been able to what other coaches have not!!!! I’d love to see what a real offensive “mind” would do for Josh.

Bills fans are so predictable.

Guess Who Has the #1 Pass Defense in the NFL?

I don't disagree with that at all; the guy is turning it over like a hotel waffle machine. I just wonder if it will hurt slightly less this week than it might down the road. -

Josh Allen is a dirty football player so I am watching the Sabres -
They had the Golden Goose back then, but they just didn’t know how to milk it. I can see how that might have been confusing trying to milk a goose.

I don't think you can start this by breaking fans down into "apologists" and everyone else. I appreciate what the man has done, but I do believe he needs to adapt and innovate. If I'm the owner and I feel a better coach is available for my franchise, I'm considering it. McDermott isn't a bum, but I don't see a leader that's learning from his own failures. It's tough to look in the mirror for all of us. He's paid handsomely to know what's looking back at him and improve if necessary. Innovate or stagnate. I don't care what the process was yesterday or last year. Improve it or let the next guy try. He could help his cause by surrounding himself with coordinators that aren't yes men. Great leaders know the importance of new ideas and relinquishing control in areas where they're not strong. I doubt McDermott has that in him. That my vote.

The Bills are a far better team and it is not even close. The Bengals defense is awful. Perhaps the worst the Bills will face all year. On offense, their OL is mediocre at best, no running game. They have Burrow, who has been sitting on his sofa most of the year and was awful against the Ravens, Chase (who is great) and Higgins who is hurt. Is Mike Gisecki really scaring anyone? And by the way, their coach absolutely sucks. Yes, anything can happen, the Bills have screwed up against weak opponents, blah, blah, blah. This is NFL crunch time where the cream rises to the top. If this game is close, it’s an upset.

I also like how Allen has responded this year when facing the top quarterbacks - he definitely seems more dialed in. Jackson, Mahomes, Mayfield seem to bring out the best in him. -
Glass half empty guys will tell you coaches trust Tre more. Glass half full guys will tell you Tre sux because when he's in there, the Bills D can't get off the field.

Max Hairston-- Did he play yesterday?

Weren't drives 6 and 7 the fumble and the Int, so not many snaps those two series anyway? -

I agree with Sal Capaccio on the hit being the turning point but not due to a lack of effort. Instead he posed it as the team feeling uneasy and overly cautious not to make mistakes. Once the hit happens they stopped thinking about that and instead focused on kicking Steeler’s ass. -
Do you believe the WH will walk the statement back? I don't. We'll see. If either the senate or the house committees find the actions illegal,, they'll likely send it to the military courts. As we've illustrated, there are many military legal experts that disagree with you. It's not as cut and dried as you make it appear. At the very least, it's a complex issue.

A Few Thoughts about the Steelers Game - Community Edition
UConn James replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can we erase the WR screen behind the line of scrimmage to Shakir from the playbook, please?! It hasn’t had a completion in weeks. Teams are thoroughly on to it. And Shakir has been uncharacteristically droppy the last several including one catch on five targets yesterday. What the hell is going on? Brady all year has just been like and it's getting infuriating. This gameplan will not work for any other team in the league but he's so unimaginative and so unchanging that this is what he'll do and McD will allow. As for what's going on in Josh's head. Same. He's just not the same dude. I dunno if he started believing the hype. Or if it's the life changes and commercial distractions. If someone got into his ear about his playing style. Or an injury he's hiding again.... But he just looks entirely disinterested when he goes and sits on the bench and looks at his tablet after every bad drive, INT, etc. If guys are messing up, captaincy and leadership is sometimes speaking to or even calling guys out when they didn't do the right assignment. Or rouse up your teammates in important moments. But there he's been all season, glued to the end of the bench with his face in a screen or just staring into space. There were signs of a pulse in the second half yesterday, at long last. How do we make that happen again / more? -

You are just jealous of WNY weather. Buffalo is where winter goes for the summer. -
The Bengals do have a few extra days to go over Bills tapes and watch the Steelers game. So it is reasonable to guess that they may have plan A, B and C to stop our running game. It is an advantage to them -- if you have less talented, you need to scheme more and for that, the more time available the better. On the other hand, the Bengals are 0-10-1 coming off a Thursday night game, which includes the latest rendition of losing to the then winless Jets by 1 point on Oct 26. Let's hope that trend isn't broken this Sunday.

Ben Johnson?? Ben Johnson?? LOL
BringBackFergy replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Please count the number of 1st/2nd round offensive/skill players at Detroit/Chicago vs Buffalo in the last 8 years and report back. “Benny” has been given a set hand for the last 5 years. -
I think Thielen is a couple weeks too late on this one…although maybe minny wouldn’t have granted his release til now. Even if he has juice left there is just not a lot of time to get acclimated honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we brought him in at this point though haha
