  1. Past hour
  2. Alrighty then!
  3. You could definitely make the argument we should have ran the ball more on that final drive since Cook had clearly been our best skill player. I will say though we had him out there on the final 2nd down and he whiffed on his block which prevented Allen from completing his pass to an open Samuel... And then on 3rd and medium should he have been out there? Probably not. That is the give and take with Cook's skill set. What he adds to the rushing offense he takes from the passing offense. That's why he has been a 50% snap player for us.
  4. Poyer is not dirty. It's football. I'm thankful he was here, helping turn the franchise around.
  5. I feel like Denver and Russell Wilson did this just a couple years ago, like 4 or 5 straight to start the season
  6. People keep hiring a guy who co-ran a mafia linked illegal gambling ring and then wonder why that guy doesn't win the way they want him to. Hmmmmm.
  7. Doing that over and over, and each, of course, less sound than the previous batch, idea: Changing what he is saying in the middle of a conversation, because the idea, and the cherry picked info to support it, was so faulty and had been so easily ripped apart. Then, with the new goal, new idea (as the first, well, we just didn't understand the nuance...) more cherry picked info to support that. So this time even weaker than the last stuff, as now he is on the ropes, knows it, is flailing Then, again, and by this time most would have given up, or hopefully seen the light, but nope, just digging in the heels. And now writing even more posts!, rapid fire, thinking that a slew of meaningless posts, and increasingly angry, immature ones, will somehow compensate for the arguments being ripped to shreds so easily, repeatedly. Hopes to wear out the other posters, have the last word, then convince himself he won this debate. But he lost it almost as soon as he started.
  8. It always seemed like when they threw him the ball....he caught it. Isn't that what one wants from a Tight End?
  9. Yes, she was a poster here for a while, actually. It was pretty amazing to have a celebrity here. Do you know what that's worth? Oh, TBD is a place on Earth.
  10. Poor Josh will be forced to do everything with a subpar WR corp. Is there a WR corp in the NFL weaker than the Bills ?
  11. It's a code word for being excited sexually over something
  12. For my money there's really only two guys in that tier though, Surtain and Stingley. Then's there a cluster of really good CBs with little discernible difference from one to another and Benford to me fits in cleanly to that group. It's really hard in the modern NFL for a CB to be a true game changing player. In that light I view the position the same way that I view OT. And Brown is someone I personally would put into the elite category already even though it has just been the one elite season, but again an elite RT is not going to be a true game changer. The Bills problem is that pass rushers and pass catchers are the biggest game changers (behind QB obviously) and we don't have anyone that really comes close to being elite at those positions. Oliver is very good, Rousseau is very good although more as a run stopper than a pass rusher, and Shakir is very good but plays a limited role. When you look at Super Bowl teams in recent years they usually have an elite pass catcher AND an elite pass rusher, sometimes multiple of each. Without either the margins are slim. Allen is almost enough on his own to overcome it, but unfortunately "almost" has been the ceiling. Hopefully Bosa rejuvenates his career and/or we get immediate impact from Sanders or Jackson. As far as pass catchers... hope that Kincaid or Coleman take a huge step forward.
  13. For some reason I feel it's important to point out that "not praying for injuries" is not the same thing as "praying for no injuries."
  14. We don't need Poyer. We have Hamlin
  15. Helps when you have a 6'7 pitcher throwing 95 And some big bats in the lineup I saw them play the other day and oh my God they look like a division one team lol Dalton Harper is probably the best hitter and he grew up down the street from me.. he left division 1 to go back to Niagara community college probably for something like this He'll probably be back at division 1 next year too
  16. I don't think so, Pretty sure the miami one leaked, their sports talk radio was talking about them.
  17. Well, the date on the Eagles is already a Saturday
  18. My comment was more about signing him in a Micah Hyde role. A good voice in the film room, leadership for a young secondary, and break glass in the event of an emergency kind of thing. Also if we don't do that I don't care. I'm high on Rapp. I think he's a good safety. I don't get it when people shirt on him. I am much less high on the rest rest of the room. I was underwhelmed by Bishop last year.
  19. Trevor Lawrence is loving this signing:
  20. Remember when it was all about the Cheaters and the NFL? This is nothing compared to that.
  21. He's the missing piece to make Trevor Lawrence finally look like a franchise QB...
  22. You forgot Taron who was absolutely elite for several years and maybe the best draft pick Beane has made (unless you want to give all the credit to McD which I get). Also, although he didn't make it with us, Wyatt Teller was an elite guard for the Browns. Beane deserves some credi (and criticism) for that.
  23. What?? That's crazy...out of the 46 wins only 3 were 1 run games, compared to 30 where they won by 5+ runs...
  24. KC vs NYG and Jax on prime time is hot garbage.
  25. They should be the Whalers still!
  26. I love Mrs. Poyer too!
