It should be Cook, but I have also been wondering what happened to sending Ty Johnson down the field to catch some balls, regardless of the down. That was really effective at times last year.

Hardball means they both go. Add one quality receiver and a coach who can use who we have and scheme them open and our O is plenty good enough with a competent D. D roster on the other hand, we need: CB 2 Safeties 2 LBs and that is at minimum There clearly needs to be a “ rebuilding “ year which is why it should have been at the beginning of last season before we let Beane shackle the team with some of these contracts. Just read this after basically writing this😁

Every day. But Canadians will likely just bend over and take it up the tailpipe in obedience to the government's cultural replacement effort.

Ah... Gee... You were warned, no? "Everything But The Hits" How can you feel ripped off when he was basically telling you you're gonna be ripped off... LoL... /smdh I like Van Morrison even more now for his blunt honestly... He's always got a bad rap as being an overly pretentious douchebag & his politics aren't my cup of tea... BUT I can respect his music & brutally blunt commentary on commercialism... "Down through theosophy, and the Golden Dawn", etc... lol Hope he played: "Down through the weeks of ages" "In the moss borne dark dank pools" "Rave on, down through the industrial revolution..." "...Rave on, Walt Whitman, nose down in wet grass Rave on, fill the senses On nature's bright green shady path..." See, I just got you return value on your hard dolla that purchase that ticket. Now you don't have to holla... Sounds like a great show for the value.

Those Wacky, Hilarious Young Republicans!

Sorry, Democrats, You Can't Shame Us Into Submission Anymore They say that desperation is the world's worst cologne. And the Democrat Party is more drenched in it right now than that one guy in the club back in the '80s who used an entire bottle of Drakkar Noir every Saturday night. If you missed it yesterday, Politico tried to throw a Hail Mary to Jay Jones and the other Democrats who refuse to disavow his murder fantasies by leaking some group chat messages from some young, college Republicans. I am not here to defend the things those young kids said in private (some of the messages were pretty ugly), but, as Vice President JD Vance noted last night, nothing in those leaked messages even remotely approached what Jones repeatedly said to another Virginia legislator about how he dreamed of seeing Republicans and their children dead. https://twitchy.com/grateful-calvin/2025/10/15/sorry-democrats-you-cant-shame-us-into-submission-anymore-n2420376 -

You recently spent a lot of time on your soapbox decrying the rhetoric coming from both sides. You accomplished that without so much as a tsk, tsk towards your ideological teammates here. Now you don’t even have the character to comment on: Embarrassing v/r, Anus Man -
Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

Sure. But your second point has levels to it. I'm sure that everyone wants to hire an "offensive genius." Sometimes you get Sean McVey and sometimes you get Doug Pederson. Both of those are acceptable outcomes, but one is better than the other. But that's not the floor, because sometimes you get Chip Kelly in Philly. That was sen as an inspired move after moving on from the "stale" and "washed-up" Andy Reid. And Philly wasted 3 years on the Chip Kelly experiment. Not only did they waste three years with him as a coach, they also gave him control of the organization and let him make draft choices. Sure, fire McDermott. But do we want them taking a home run swing on the next coach, or do we want them to play it safe? -
A beast and bull of a RB, is always a realistic option at any point...........you need tough and short yardage?...........Skattebo

Let me clarify - I have not said Shakir is an elite WR1. He is a slot WR, that’s his job and he’s special at it. That’s like saying well he’s a great safety but he gets burned at CB. It’s two entirely different positions. A slot WR is a true WR, it’s not a part time role. Does that mean we don’t need a legit WR1 on the outside - no. But this notion that because he’s not an elite outside WR1 somehow makes him just a complimentary piece is not accurate at all. You put Shakir next to Puka on an offense not afraid to feed their top targets and his production would jump and he would be a regular problem for defenses. The issue is two fold - one, we don’t have anyone to threaten elsewhere on the field and roster full of guys who are most dangerous in the same areas Shakir is. It’s redundancy. Two - we run an offense that doesn’t put any focus on any one player, so even if Shakir was best on the outside we wouldn’t be featuring him. Diggs went from being on pace for the 2nd best season of his career under Dorsey to fall off a cliff production wise under Brady with the philosophical switch to the offense. I whole heartedly agree he can’t be and shouldn’t be our “top WR”. But from a talent perspective, if we traded for Olave, Shakir would still be our “best WR” in terms of overall talent IMO even though this team badly needs someone like Olave to open up the offense. Leaning on Shakir to open it up isn’t going to work when the rest of the targets eat in the same areas Shakir does. Now trade for DJ Moore and he would be the best WR on the team and Shakir would be even better out the slot.

Didn’t he go in the top of the 4th? That would mean picking him in the 3rd when we already had Johnson and Davis backing Cook, which wouldn’t have happened. Trading up in the 4th would’ve meant more assets than it took to get Deone Walker and that also wasn’t happening. I would’ve loved Xavier Watts or that rangy New Orleans safety who picked off Josh, but that’s all hindsight. Skattebo was never a realistic option at any point.

If McDermott were a decent HC he would intervene during the game. He can veto the play calls. They are in his headset. He can tell Brady and Babbich what to do or specifically what not to do. McDermott is complicit in this mess, but he has multiple scapegoats already lined up to avoid him being held accountable.

Anus man chimes in. The fact is that these people are leaders within their party who seem to be pro-Hitler. That’s gotta be at least a little bit alarming. Putting that aside, I see a bunch of fat losers there who can’t get OPP (or, to your desires, OPA) and they hate the world. Lose a little weight and don’t be a douche and maybe they’ll have better luck. Hoax.
