  1. Past hour
  2. The Bills knew they had to get Josh a receiver and could not risk another team trading up and taking their wide receiver. That happened to the Bills when the Steelers traded up and drafted big Ben.
  3. If offered that the Bills had 2:00 to go, down by 3, against Chiefs in the playoffs, Josh Allen, James Cook, OL- I would take that offer right now- my $ is on Josh. Always. That’s why I find the last two failures very hard to understand It’s the same *****, over, and over, - there is no separation. Josh extends plays, no one open. Rinse, repeat
  4. Why is it that every year our defense lets us down as the season goes on and the offense eventually can't overcome the failures? Is it scheme or personnel?
  5. Because no one in this situation knows what they are doing.
  6. I would still dislike weanie breath mahomes on this team. There are 3 players I dislike as people on this team.
  7. Let's see if I can make this quick and easy... The biggest reason I liked him (and Waddle or Olave) is because they separate well quickly. Coleman is an outside boundary guy and so is Waddle but Waddle is tough and can be inside too. Olave and Shaheed are smaller slot types and that's fine. We run a lot. And we do so in close with tight formations, including. 3 TE sets and sometimes a single WR if we don't have Gilliam in at FB. Putting someone like Shaheed out there over Shakir means he can shake free quickly for an RPO. Shakir doesn't do that like Beasley did for us. Having a fast guy who can break coverage like no one else on our roster means we can have more opportunities out of our run formations. That's the only reason I wanted someone else on this roster - more appropriately put: something else on this roster. If anyone wants I'll break it down more.
  8. In fact, in this fantasy world (probably reality), the Bills would’ve traded the pick to KC and they would’ve drafted Jefferson.
  9. we had a young guy in our office recently who has masters degree from RIT in computer or software engineering, ( i may not have that exactly correct but that was the idea) and he is having a lot of trouble finding work. he actually said that he thinks he chose the wrong career. i can't imagine being that age with a lot of schooling thinking that my work is getting phased out.
  10. Then why make the decision?
  11. So we bring in dudes that were undrafted that will sit on our practice squad, but there are no players in the whole league on another team's practice squad that could be a backup for us? We have half our defense on the IR and there's nothing available; we are looking at out training camp bodies?
  12. Agree. It seems that the injuries have brought the young guys way more into the defense, and they have injected speed and enthusiasm to blend with the wise (but slower) vets like White and Poyer. But if Poyer is rubbing off on Bishop, God love him.
  13. Both games the defense sucked. But. Both playoff games, the Defense came up BIG and made the stops at the end of the game, to give the Offense a chance to win. And the Passing offense, like they look often today, and yesterday, Bills Passing Offense was wonky. Both times the Offense failed the Defense. The Passing Offense was not complimentary. These are the facts, Jack. The offense failed at the end.
  14. Let's get to know Rashid Shaheed: Age: 27 Height: 6'0" Weight: 180 Targeted: 66 Receptions: 44 Receiving yards: 499 Receiving touchdowns: 2 Drops: 0 That's 55.4 yards per game. PFF grade: 66.9 Receiving grade: 70.3 Pass snaps: 317 Routes run: 299 Passer rating when targeted 80.3
  15. Gloves back on! Apologies in advance retroactively! I’m sorry for tomorrow, too!
  16. It's still on the D in the playoffs. Their numbers against the Chiefs on average are better in the playoffs on O and 2 TDs worse on D.
  17. and with Kincaid developing a good chemistry with Allen, this team could be deadly come playoffs...assuming the defense holds up its end of the bargain
  18. You summed it up at the end. The drop off is so significant that we need him to have that work. You’ve paid him and he’s producing. Ride it as much and as long as you can. He’ll get his rest or reduction in usage towards seasons end when/if we are guaranteed a playoff spot.
  19. Time for the Bills to pull some bodies from the CFL. We need our own Cameron Wake and Joe Horn.
  20. Maybe they thought Reagor was WR4 and may have been willing to trade up for him. Higgins does fit their player profile at WR to a Tee lol so that tracks.
  21. Drops have been a concern, but Shaheed's catch rate has only been marginally better than Davis in his career. Palmer has a better rate than both, so if the goal is a downfield threat with hands Palmer is better than Davis or Shaheed.
  22. If we hadn't traded for Diggs, based on Beanies drafting history, he would have passed on WR, took a CB and tried grabbing a WR in the third round
  23. November and the air temp will be 82 during game time down there. Not sure what it will be in the sun side on the field. Did they amend that stupid rule that if the home team doesn't use the cooler fans then the visitors can't either? That literally put lives at risk. They don't remember Korey Stringer? UConn has an athletic performance lab named in his honor. We learn NOTHING.
  24. I read up a bit on VOS Selections and Schwartz’s concerns. I certainly can feel for the guy, he worked hard, built a business and the uncertainty with the tariffs has got to be very difficult. In one interview, he also mentioned that his margins were already very thin due to the regulatory situation in NY and NJ. His business is required to post pricing for his product a month in advance, and with product/market conditions fluctuating, things turn south. He also mentioned that consumer habits are shifting away from wine consumption, or maybe at least the services he offers. It sounds like he’s got an uphill battle regardless of the outcome of the tariff discussion. I wonder what he thinks about the political situation in NYC, and if things get better or worse even if he prevails in this case.
  25. They almost certainly would've taken a defensive player with that pick if Beane hadn't traded it away after waiting for McDermott to go to bed that night.
