It's called veteran-driven leadership. The lead players are the ones needed to police this kind of thing. This statement by Tua is more an indictment on himself than anyone else. If he can't get other players in line without this kind of public whining, that's on him.

In a fairly officiated game the Lions would have lost last night because their defense played bad and their O made a couple crucial mistakes. But the final score, which looks like KC dominance, is the direct result of thumbs on scale officiating that in some cases highly skews the final outcome.

I really want to see Thompson in an increased role. It was feeling like he was left for dead by the league after injuries and age but he’s been really effective. I think the defense can use a shift in physicality and I’d love to see him out there more often

The Falcons offense will present problems for the Bills defense, but I still think the Bills win a close one. Something like 27-24.

I'll say this: at this current rate it is more appealing than you might think. The Phins biggest offensive liability is the O-line. They've started to rebuild but had bad injuries and this always takes time, even when you have a wizard like Kromer. For all that I hate the Tua hype and think he's the product of inflated stats and his supporting cast he's a top half of the league starter. If Brady thinks he's hit the limit and wants to start with a rookie I am positive someone will throw picks at a trade. Even if Hill never comes back Waddle is a WR1 and they have a strong run game. Everyone Eats would work fine there. my biggest concern with McDaniel as OC is I don't think he has the game awareness for play calling. he's a brilliant play designer but some people here think Brady gets too cute and that is 200% McDaniel

I'd be surprised if they fill those 2 open spots. That has Hoecht and Oji written all over it. But could also see them signing Po to active and cutting Codrington this upcoming week. Definitely will see a DT elevated from P/S tonight --- extreme outside chance they decide to put Logue on 53. But maybe. Otherwise, likely whoever had better pracitce week from Mathis and Phillips.

I hate Atlanta’s weapons, Gregg. I think they can give us some problems. I’m not worried about their D at all, just our decisions to take advantage of them. Regardless of the “end up at or get to 30” of the last couple of years I wish this O would stop thinking it is some sort of crime to bash a snakes head in while you’re stepping on its neck… early and often. McDaniel to replace McDermott may be too much of a reach. McDaniel to replace Brady could be a huge upgrade. He's from the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree. McDaniel just isn't HC material and is more of an X's and O's guy

If Poyer is playing that means we have broken the glass and we are in serious trouble.

The road schedule isn't all that tough at least on paper. We will see what happens on the field which is all that matters. But if the Bills are as good as we think they are then they should handle business at Atlanta and Carolina.
