I don’t think bishop was as overwhelmingly bad as it seemed from his lowlight plays tbh. I thought Rapp was even worse (not saying much though 😂). That infamous super weird late blitz was some snap shenanigans from the ravens…that was actually pretty cool tbh. Ravens just went up and immediately silently snapped it which got the bills caught in their coverage disguise. Probably a blessing someone did that to us in the regular season…lions do it some but im not sure if they did it to us at all

If Bass is out four games, they are gonna have to sign him to the active roster. I'm guessing they are waiting til this week because of the vet guaranteed money thing. But after yesterday he deserves a raise

Did the Bills win, or di the Ravens lose?
starrymessenger replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
The reality is that, but for the all important position, for all four quarters the Ravens had (and have) a markedly superior roster on both sides of the ball. What allowed Josh to hit Palmer and Coleman is his ability to routinely make throws (esp Palmer's) that few quarterbacks can make. Josh Allen is the best quarterback and probably the best football player on the planet. That's the takeaway. -
9/7/25 Post Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF
Scott7975 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It looked like the target was Shakir on that play to me. He would have been in position to catch it. Not sure if the DB would have made a play to knock the ball down though as he was closing IIRC. -
I don’t think too many people doubt that he can still play. But it is fair to doubt how long he can do it. Shouldn’t we be due to beat the odds in a good way?

We just gotta clean up outside contain. Make Fields a pocket passer. Hall is not Henry but I'd like to see more 4-3 until we figure out our safety issues.

My guess is this is to cover a 'fake slide' but I don't know that I like that .... it inputs (more) subjectivity, as a ref could at any time can say someone is simulating a slide. If you want to delay a slide or fake slide, you can get popped. So I like that the rule gives you the progress where a non-foot falls, and not when you "start" your slide. It helps remove the benefit of doing a fake slide but continuing on, as it's not something that refs are (currently) trying to police for.

Somebody upthread wrote that he thought the Bills were in the Ravens' heads. I don't think that it's the Bills in the Ravens' heads; it's the Ravens in their own heads, including Harbaugh's. In critical games against good teams, especially in the playoffs, the Ravens seem to be their own worst enemy. Lamar fumbles and/or throws interceptions. Reliable veteran receivers drop what should be easy catches. Henry, who hardly ever fumbles, fumbles. Harbaugh, who's actually a great coach, makes questionable play calls.

I hope some of those who study the All 22 do some analysis of Daquan, too. It seems like a big factor in Ed's production is an effective Daquan (even though Daquan doesn't show up on the stat sheet). Might he be back to something close to pre-injury form? I didn't notice him...but that's typical.

Enter a speedster like Zay Flowers...

I’d love to know what was going on with that play in the third(?) quarter, when Bishop seemingly attempted to blitz Jackson from the Canadian border. It was very odd.

The Jets gave the Steelers a game but the Jets are NO Ravens. We should be able to handle the Jets fairly easily.
-
Agree....another huge play under the radar was Dalton's catch with :01....we needed every point we could get.

@MJS this is what I have. ”To summarize, passing that doesn’t end in a scramble or a spike has a 0.28% injury rate, designed runs 0.64%, scrambles 0.87%, sacks 1.4%, and knockdowns are 1.56%” https://www.fantasypoints.com/nfl/articles/season/2021/mobile-quarterbacks-and-injury-rates

It was a joke.

Haven't the Jets beat us down at their Stadium the past two years?

Does he still have the Buffalo shaved into his hairdo?

HLP started following Peppers cryptic tweet

Thanks for this. And you're exactly right. Logically and statistically, McD made the right decision on the first two-pointer. When it failed anyway, he was forced to go for the subsequent 2-pointers. Each decision was rational by itself. But we failed on each of them so hindsight says it would have been better to kick all those EPs.

Rapp looked like a football player that did not have a very good game. I am not a Rapp fan at all, but he is best safety on the Bills. Bishop looked like a guy that did not belong on the field. He looks confused out there and plays tentative. He looks too small to be a safety. I just dont see anything that points to him just being a guy that needs reps. Hopefully I am wrong.

How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?
BuffaL0L0k0 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, and I need to pitch in the huge difference in Safety, when you compare i.e. Rapp, to Hamilton, when he was coming off the locker and looked like a TE in height -
Hahaha I straight up confused myself replying to this and had to delete it twice…wasn’t that the missed two pointer where the ravens had too many men moving us up to the 1? I’ve definitely seen teams go for that in all spots. There were so many two pointers that I was thinking of a later one initially lol pretty good shot you get the 2 pointer and if you don’t there’s time to get another in a game where the ravens are scoring at will and you gotta figure out some way to maybe steal a possession somewhere down the road

Whoever left stadium early needs to….

If you're actually a fan, you shouldn't leave a game early ever.
