🤔… I might assign more of the credit for that record to the Texans OL. If memory serves, they were absolutely awful and that poor bastard was a sitting duck from day 1. It was surprising that he actually survived his time in Houston. He probably has PTSD.

Keon was on pace for 800-900 yards as a rookie and 7+ TDs through week 11 when he got hurt. And further context: -He was a rookie -He was splitting time during that span -He played in a spread the ball around offense -Bills took the foot off the gas for whole quarters and some halves in blowout wins in those first 11 games. So while he didn’t find his groove again after the injury, he showed a lot of promise before and that is why they are still confident in him going into this year. And McD and Beane have proven multiple times to not just stick with a guy because of his draft status. Look at Elam, he was inactive or didn’t see the field most games here. Keon showed enough in those 11 games to still have their belief in him. He still has to come out and prove their confidence right that he will take a step forwarding , but his starting this year is not just because of his draft status.

What’s the deal with Winston and Cousins?
Mike in Horseheads replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saints don't have a pot to piss in as far cap space. So they'd have to get the Falcons to pick up a large chunk. i have no idea how Carr retiring affects the dead cap and cap in general. ???? -
I feel bad for anyone who bought a PSL…everything will be overpriced and cheap AF.

Jameis can sling it. He’s a fun qb to watch but the ints are certainly a problem. If your team is gonna suck and you wanna give your fans a fun season just play him. He’ll give you 25 and 25 -
Malaki Starks wants to pick off Josh Allen most

Yea. Players think it matters more than it does. -
While I agree it's likely he's cut - I could see a number of ways he could make it: 1.) He blows their socks off in Training Camp and the Pre-Season and they cut bait on Moore 2.) Elijah Moore doesn't impress in the offseason and/or proves to not be a fit in the locker room. 3.) There's an injury to one of the Top 5 presumed guys during the offseason. If 2 or 3 happens, it would most likely come down to him or Shavers - as Shenault to me seems more for Special Teams and Return ability and as such would be kept as a "6th WR" instead of Codrington as a "6th CB". The difference there is a 5th Round Pick is generally expected to be rostered. A late 7th Round pick generally isn't.

Michelle Obama's plan, whether she started with good intentions or not, was a crap show from the beginning. In order to comply with those laws Sysco became the only food supplier for OCPS, where I teach, because they are only company large enough to supply the amount needed, the quality though is never discussed. Publix who could supply it does not fulfill all the requirements, but I can't imagine what that could be. If the goal was to have healthy foods for kids then Michelle failed because the meals went from a 6 to a 3 on appeal, and therefore kids don't eat it anymore except the unhealthy parts because no one wants grainy apples and bruised bananas. -
I’m waaaay more concerned how I’m gonna piss in a tiny little urinal after 20 beers. The troughs were very forgiving on accuracy.

Ever listen to anything guys like Jordan, Kobe, Tom Brady had to say about comments people make in media? This take is crazy talk. -

I certainly admire the gritty moxie and unbridled enthusiasm of Kirk 'YOU LIKE THAT?!' Cousins over some of the lesser lights of previous years: -
I don't buy anything Chinese if I can help it, and have not for over a decade, so that tariff is mainly inconsequential. I do find your TDS hilarious because the "rich" will have to pay the tariffs also. I am actually curious what you consider rich, either income based or net worth based, because I want to know how many people I know who you would consider rich.

True. He is a five star recruit for a reason but he still has to show it on the field this year. It might come down to who picks first in the draft. The Saints I'm guessing would be attractive situations for another Manning for obvious reasons. If not, Nussmeier would be a nice consolation prize. If Shough has a promising rookie year then the Saints don't even have to worry about QB. Point is, there's no reason to sign a veteran QB to go 7-10 or something like that.

What’s the deal with Winston and Cousins?

He'll be 22 years old come Draft time next season and will have been at Texas for 3 seasons. Given his pedigree, if he performs as expected this season - I don't think another year would improve his stock any and could only set himself up for hurting it with injury and he'd be cutting into his NFL years by a year or two by entering the 2027 Draft at 23. He may opt to stay. But if he plays like a Manning, his stock will be as high as it could be. -
Well let’s go with them then. 😆

What’s the deal with Winston and Cousins?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cousins has a pretty high price tag and showed serious regression before being benched last year. Winston is a Wild Card type player. He can have really good games but then the next week looks like he's never seen a football before. Way too inconsistent. The Saints just drafted a guy in round 2. I'm sure they hope he can start. The Steelers actually don't mind rolling with Mason Rudolph as he is well liked in the locker room, well respected by the coaching staff and did play some same good ball for them late in the year 2 seasons ago. -
He had better have something very nice for Mom tomorrow. Good for him lasting as long as he did. His brother set a record for sacks early on and we’ll never know what he might have been. I think David made $40 Mil, which is still a lot of money for some people. 🤣 Very different times and different careers. .

Winston is the prototypical backup the fans fall in love with. Not who you want, if your trying to break in a rookie. Cousins has a big price tag, but would make sense for Pitt. -

You really think Arch will come out with only a year of starting play in college? I figured he'd play two years before hitting the draft

That's a 30 for 30 I'd watch! King of the crab legs!

I had flashbacks reading that 3-way QB competition to the Bills yester-years … so thankful for Josh Allen

Buffalo716 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm just around college football programs way too much to understand why anybody think Arch Manning is coming out after this season lol He literally couldn't beat out Quinn ewers who was a 7th round pick.. now does Quinn have a lot more talent than that and his fragility dropped him? Absolutely and NIL didn't help But anybody who thinks Arch is going to waltz to the NFL after 12 college starts has no clue... The Manning family has been adamant he's going to stay four or five seasons and he's going to get 20 plus starts The goal is to have three generations of successful Manning quarterbacks not three generations of just getting drafted and Arch is a bust... I don't even get where people think he's the number one pic next year with such limited reps under his belt Sure an entire season as the starter in the offense will give him a boost.. but he has done nothing to earn even being projected as the number one pick if I'm being honest It's all projection it's not what he's actually accomplished.. if his last name was Miller he would still be really talented 21-year-old kid but the hype wouldn't be as high -
Go ***** a couch? You also don't seem to understand that the US has historically backed Pakistan since it's inception. And the idea that the root causes of this conflict are "none of our business" is a massive signal to India that the US is no longer standing behind Pakistan.
