Prater hurt? Might miss Browns game

I mean, do you really trust a running back to be able to kick off properly? I guess he could just try and boot it in the endzone every kick, but man that could be a disaster -

The broadcast didn't provide a replay before the next play. So, if our coaching booth only had the same feed we were all watching at home they would not have had any more to go off of then what we had. That said, watching from home we all still wanted a challenge flag so one still should have been radio downed to be thrown. -
I agree with this. I know people get frustrated and pissed off when we're running and not gaining any yards or only minimal yardage. People want to see a wide opened attack through the air and JA dropping dimes all over the field, however, i see what Brady is doing with our run game.........keep running up the gut or let Cook bounce it outside cause eventually he has the talent to get some meaningful yards. I think of it like this.......in boxing, you go for the knockout by punching to the head, however, the tougher and longer fights are won with body shots where you eventually wear your opponent down. Our run game are the body shots and we're wearing out D's, grinding it out and making them tired as the game progresses. I know it's sometimes frustrating to watch, however, i'm old school so give me running backs all day long.

This goes along with the three different times they tried to mess with the clock. Scumbag organization. -
Sadly, he also appears to be the same guy who doesn’t finish routes I’m curious what you saw or AJ on that play. From my vantage point, he didn’t hold his contain and allowed the cutback to happen. He didn’t stay back of the pile and started to sneak ahead of it, which left the entire weak side of the field open.

These "pot luck" Christmas parties really seem like bottom of the barrel to me. Hey, bring your own food and we'll all share, like a family.......i have no idea if Linda washed her hands when she was making the crab dip and i don't know if ole Carl was "special saucing" his tuna salad and i can only imagine how Pete made his famous chili (the same Pete who eats cheese and crackers for lunch every day). I've seen other people's kitchens and other people's interpretation of cleanliness and if i have to share food with people i don't even like, i'm out.

I was yelling for him to throw the challenge flag from my chair, so it was probably the right move by McDermott not to. I was home by myself and feel really stupid for yelling to no one. My dog got scared and went to the other end of the house for the remainder of the game. -
This is great. We need these types of comments from guys all over the league to keep popping up. the players read and watch all this stuff. This stuff is great. Nothing motivates them modern athlete more than telling them they can not accomplish things because they are not good enough. in hope they keep digging out more old irrelevant players to give the same take. hopefully they dig up freeman McNeil, art monk, mark duper, sterling sharpe etc. and they all bag on the bills. This is great.

There was a shadowy figure in the corner of the left endzone, he/she (very gender ambiguous looking) kept popping up in big moments and then backing away out of view - Today

Balt has the tiebreaker over Pit if they split and both finish 9-8 so need Pit to have a better record the next two games or else it will all come down to their game Week 18. Pit has a tough game this week too in Detroit.

They cheat again and again, and we're supposed to believe it's coincidence. Rooting for the Patriots is like rooting for Boss Hog instead of the Dukes of Hazzard, or Brad Wesley instead of Dalton in Road House. -
Patriots. The Ravens game doesn't matter for us and the division. They would have to lose another game regardless. Whereas if the Bills win out one divisional loss for the Pats gives us the division. If Baltimore loses to New England they are all but done I think.

agreed. with the Bills getting healthy now, this could be the year... lfg

Vrabel whining about the officiating in Bills/Pats
H2o replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
How much help did the refs give NE this game, especially in the 1st half? The catch that wasn't, holding on both of Drake Maye's rushing TD's not called, and the clock. Then, an obvious holding penalty on Henderson's 2nd long TD that wasn’t called. We overcame all of that and still won. It was PI on the DB who hit Shakir early. Imo, it was not a catch. Looked like an INT, but still our ball at the spot none the less. Consider it justice for the Boutte non-catch catch. I would have called defensive holding with the play on Keon and not PI though. Other than that, I can say it looked like Trey got away with a couple on Hollins. -

I think that was part of the issue McDermott has in the past thrown a flag on the basis of players telling him to. But nobody was in position to see so there wasn't a player to give a view. -

Agreed. The risk to burning a challenge that early is that maybe he hesitates to challenge the call at the goal line that ended up being reversed into a TD. -
I think of the '21 team as the one that had the best chance to take it all. Interestingly, I heard a rumor that the guy who caught 4 TDs in the 13 seconds game that season is on the current roster, but was a healthy scratch on Sunday. (In favor of Palmer? Cooks?) Gabe seems to have gotten over the dropsies and is still the guy who is a magician on the tightrope sideline plays. Between him, Palmer and Cooks, two of them should be active on gameday and Gabe should be one of them.

Exactly right. You want evidence of winning divisions (conference) meaning nothing to post season just look at college football where so many things are wrong. The playoffs in college was something fans wanted for years and theyve made it the worst way possible with the beauty pagent entry and winning your conference meaningless. Hell you can even get blown out in a conference championship game and get in if you have pedigree and still get in. Not exactly a perfect comparison but exemplifies why ncaa is just mishandling so many things and how college football interest is waning amongst casual fans only buoyed by gambling. It should be at an all time high and a golden age in popularity but people hate the direction bc players and coaches are less concerned with the immediate opportunity they have to make history in order to chase money and future opportunities elsewhere. The game is suffering too. A couple of tweaks would give it more integrity like 8 automatic bids for conference winners and 4 at large bids determined by record with tie breaker rules. It takes the bs out of it and nonsense like boycotting bowls bc you didnt look pretty enough to a SEC biased committee out of the equation. Wont happen bc greed and influence is what the major conferences worked hard to establish. The NFL has always done a good job with their postseason rules. The only one im not too crazy about in the 7 team per conf format but it still solves problems and keeps more teams playing for postseason deeper into the season.
