  1. Past hour
  2. The difference in QB availability for these two franchises is insanely slanted in favor of the team that pays offensive linemen, but that could have a lot to do with the QBs themselves.
  3. I think it used to be 15 yards so there's been some progress over the decades...
  4. I'm going to say the Titans get the new coach bounce and beat New England.
  5. The Rams would never agree to trade McVay. No replacement could fill his shoes. The Bills with McVay would get to a SB fairly quickly imo. It's nice to dream.
  6. Schematically you gotta mix it up and disguise pre-snap where possible. Post-snap you need sound tackling and coverage assignments, alongside timely DL disruption and opportunistic plays at the 2nd and 3rd levels. The actual alignments and techniques are less important, although obviously one-gapping, aggressive fronts are more common nowadays. I still hold onto a preference for more multiple defensive fronts/alignments, which we haven't seen much of in Buffalo this millennium.
  7. I've seen this proposed before, sort of like a football version of a 3 point shot. I think it should be the other way around, there should be MORE points for a short FG, to reward you for driving deeper into enemy territory. If you only got 2 points for 50+, for instance, It would put more pressure on the offensive team that is driving for a FG at the end of the game to tie or win, they'd have to get down to the 30 or so to get 3 points.
  8. Did you watch the clip and hear what he said? It was pretty clear he was doing what he has been doing pretty much this entire campaign, keeping the subject on NYC and not getting dragged into commenting on geopolitics. It's just such a weak take to suggest that Mamdani calling for peace and hoping for the enforcement of international law to maintain and continue to secure a peace is somehow him saying that "Hamas shouldn't lay down their arms." At least with regard to that clip, he never says what is being insinuated in the X post. Just a lazy substanceless effort at a smear.
  9. Sorry but that's not good enough with an elite QB. It just isn't. Especially when they have not even made the SB. McDermott's specialty is defense. Yet, his defenses consistently give up 30 points in postseason losses. Teams like New England, Chiefs, and Eagles would have fired him by now.
  10. Nowhere, but everyone is available for the right price…no?
  11. I'm not dumb enough to take the fricken Steelers. Hope Mahomes doesn't let me down.
  12. Kincaid in his own tier in yards per route run. No reason he shouldn’t be on the field on nearly every passing down.
  13. This is so true. I mean we get home once in a blue moon with a blitz. But glad to hear it isn’t just me that thinks our blitzes look like a high school design and almost never disrupt let alone get home.
  14. I’m officially in the camp of only pay all pros second contract money on defense. It’s 2025 you need to score 30 plus a game to win unless you draft the Eagles 2024 defense. I don’t know how you even play defense in 2025.
  15. Fitz with the “Eskimo brothers” hahaha
  16. It took Burrow going down and having a terrible season in order to draft Chase. Still cant get over that bootleg call with 40 year old Flacco.
  17. First two topics on steelers forum - cant say i disagree but tomlin isnt getting fired
  18. One team builds from the outside in and one team builds from the inside out. I know which I prefer.
  19. i think Flacco played great. But you can basically put any semi-competent starter with those two receivers and throw for 300 yards. you put burrow with Curtis samuel and Elijah Moore…. I wonder what would happen?
  20. I don't know why you keep saying this. You know the Bengals are going to save some coin by trading Burrow and going with Flacco now right?
  21. Flacco can still Flacco, get sacked, throw picks, fumble. I want em all in the afc north about 8-8.
  22. I remember that rocket throw by Mayfield. You don’t need 8 guys covering the end zone. At a minumum you rush 4 when the QB has to throw it 55+ yards. Not sure even Josh can sling it that far without at least 2 steps toward line of scrimmage.
  23. ***** joe burrow and ***** the stupid bengals
