  1. Past hour
  2. … Mama, just killed a man Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead Mama, life had just begun But now I've gone and thrown it all away Mama, ooh, didn't mean to make you cry If I'm not back again this time tomorrow Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters
  3. Completely different and unrelated situations. ATC was not allowed to strike. It was an illegal job action. This is people who deserve to be paid being used as pawns in a political struggle. They have every right to call in sick. In the other situation, they did not, and were breaking the law.
  4. Yeah, the funny thing is, if this guy had been sitting on someone else's roster, and Beane traded a 5th or 6th round pick for him, many people would be praising him for trading for a young player with high potential. But because he planned ahead and added him back in September, there are some amongst our fan base, that will criticize him for lack of effort. No guarantee that Mathis pans out, but Beane should be praised for loading the bench early, rather than "panicking" on the last day of the trade deadline and expending a potentially valuable future draft pick.
  5. I’d like to see long completions too, but this staff wants to control the clock to limit the other teams TOP, which is fundamental to complementary football. Also, Dan Fouts played against different defenses.
  6. I think Davis or Johnson could go for 20 carries and 100 plus. The displacement upfront doesn't change with Cook limited or out. Takes the 40 plus plays off the table but still will be effective. Play action will be open.
  7. I 100% agree with this message.
  8. These injuries are just unreal...I mean how many damn guys can get hurt each week?
  9. Colts going to be like Vikings last year....finish with a great regular season record and get smoked in their first playoff game because their QB gets exposed.
  10. If I remember correctly, when Cook was drafted one of the talking heads commented that the Bills offense was going to really improve with him on the team. It took a couple years, but he was right.
  11. Find someone who loves you like this regime loves Kingsley Jonathan.
  12. I respectfully disagree with that take—focusing on one play instead of the full body of work from the game misses the bigger picture. But even if we do isolate that one play against the Chiefs on first down, it wasn’t about receivers failing to get open. It was a well-designed blitz that our All-World QB misread, and the offensive line missed their assignments. That breakdown had everything to do with protection and recognition—not a lack of separation. Let’s not rewrite the narrative based on one moment. The game is bigger than that. When it comes to playmakers, I think this is the best offensive line we’ve had—better than last year’s unit. James Cook has emerged as a top-3 running back in the league, and Dalton Kincaid is now playing at a Pro Bowl level, with two other tight ends who can supplement the attack. On defense, the emergence of Maxwell Hairston could be a game-changer. Cole Bishop, especially over the past two games, has brought a presence we haven’t seen since prime Jordan Poyer. Joey Bosa is playing at an elite level when he’s on, and Deone Walker is flashing signs of something special. There’s a real chance we’re witnessing the rise of something new and exciting—this team is starting to look stacked with playmakers on both sides of the ball
  13. If no cook elevate Gore Jr. And LFG.
  14. To put it in perspective that 30 million plus audience was 3 million MORE then the audience for the 7th game of the World Series! And they included Canadian viewers in the world series numbers.
  15. Thats why for the Colts I listed 2008 Titans or you could use even 2021. Certainly a good team with a great running back and many good pieces... but how does it go when the brightest lights come. NE I think is very good which is mostly because of Maye & Vrabel. At some point I expect a little down swing for a little, but I would rather play PIT IND DEN LAC before NE at this point.
  16. I'm not even sure Shaheed is better than the guys we already have on the roster, and all this talk of him expanding his route tree reminds me of what we said about Gabe Davis once upon a time. Maybe I'll be wrong and he'll turn out to be a legit threat that does way more than run a go route, and our WRs will get worse and worse and we'll lose in the playoffs because Kincaid will be injured and teams will run eight man boxes and Josh will take sack after sack because he just doesn't trust anyone to get open...but right now I can't get to that level of chicken little. This group still looks better to me than what fans are claiming.
  17. We have reached peak PPP when NEDBOI gives 4th an attaboy for his vocabulary. It’s all downhill from here.
  18. Guys, OBD just sent me an email. I am invited to a open WR tryout today. Wish me luck
  19. Blue over white for the Dolphins game.
  20. Ever since the Jets last year I've wanted Ray Davis to hit that hundred yard game. Let cook start and get some touches or don't. But let him play, but give a lot of work to Ray Davis.
  21. No one's talking about defense in this thread. But if we were...go ahead and start one.
  22. Poor Jimmy Ciarlo...he's been let go and re-signed more than Tashard Choice back when Marrone wanted to "send a message". "Don't confuse effort with results"
