  1. Past hour
  2. That does it! From here on there will be no more practices for the rest of the season for this team! It's too dangerous. I'm waiting to hear about a player going blind from watching game tape!
  3. Yes. The NFL playoffs aren't a fixed bracket like the NCAA tournament. Highest seed hosts lowest seed in every round, followed by 2nd-highest seed hosting 2nd-lowest.
  4. I hate his opinion but it carries plenty of weight, as he is amongst the most knowledgeable talking heads out there. I hope Beane takes it under serious advisement
  5. Exactly. The song hasn't changed. My own song has mostly been the same. During preseason, I never believed this was our year. The 4-0 start and the offense's early production made me start thinking about singing a slightly different tune. Then reality set back in.
  6. I hear your point in the first paragraph, and think it's probably mostly spot-on. But I disagree that this happens literally every season - at least not to this extent. I've been obsessively following injury reports for decades and this year strongly jumps out as having a disproportionate amount of mid-week injuries pop up. Like, by a factor of 10x.
  7. I just think the Bills need a change. New scheme, new coaches, and an injection of a new culture. It's been a heck of a run but I think the regime's message is growing old. My brothers recently told me the Bills look stale.
  8. Don't know bout Germany, but I think it's very very likely we play an international game next year. Shocked it didn't happen this year. Likely a road game, not gonna want to take away a home game from the new stadium
  9. If we did a deal like that with multiple high picks I would immediately try to make a wager that a season ending injury was in his future. NOT wishing it upon anyone, but lets face it….. At least that way I get one win, unfortunately probably in the form of a bet won. Going all in is great, but only if you get it right and stay lucky. Or you could go bold by paying 4 players big and have nothing else to put around them, like the Bengals*. I didn’t hate the Von deal at all, but we’ll never know what might have been. He looked good until the injury. 🤷‍♂️ I do expect them to attack the WR position the way they did the OL, then the DL last year. I have no idea who, but I expect them to address WR more seriously in FA and the draft than they have in the past. The good news is two, or even one guy can move the needle. On the lines you need a bunch of guys, at WR we need A guy. * Speaking of the Bengals, NFLN just had the game replay on. It was shockingly obvious with a calm mind that Higgins was rocked after repeatedly banging his head on the ground. How was that allowed to continue? I don’t do sports channels on TV or radio the way I used to, but I hope that got some attention.
  10. That may happen. It would be smart to do it that way. Gives the crews a little more time to tidy up. It will be $3B by the time it's done. There are state taxes in Colorado and real estate is not cheap in Denver.
  11. Can't be worse than Deer Run Ale from Genesse. A friend bought one took a sip and threw it away Said it tasted like " A deer had the runs in it."
  12. 2026 - Closing: Sunday, October 4th (Traditional gun salutes)
  13. If 7 beats 2, do they reseed so 7 plays 1 in the next round?
  14. Bristol would be your best bet. Take I-84 to Rte 6 and that will take you to Bristol. Over 30 years ago, I lived in Bristol amd had to go to windsor, near th MA line for a Bills packers bar. I lived a ¼ mile away from ESPN.
  15. I hate this Europe games BS. If Europeans love football so much let them start they're own league. But they don't want their own kids playing it.
  16. Spot on. Never have we seen this level of parity. The Rams are the scariest team and they are beatable.
  17. October game in Munich might be appealing to those of the beer drinking persuasion.
  18. Wow...according to some BIlls fans here this is frown upon. Who would of thunk it!
  19. I've mentioned this before, but I'll do it again. Most of the "mid week injuries" come from the previous game. These guys are constantly getting knicked during games, but between adrenaline, pain killers and just trying to push through, we don't hear about it. Plus a lot of injuries are worse a day or two later when the swelling starts. The reason we learn about them mid week is because that when practice resumes and the Bills have to release an injury report. This happens literally every season, just people haven't talked much about it. Now it's a "talking point" on the season. And it is something that happens week in and week out for all 32 teams.
  20. The WR thing is getting old. No they are not a great group but they are 8th in yards and 5th in TDs over all. And this is on a run first team, the Bills are 5th in scoring in the league so overall production is not to shabby. IMO the passing concepts have been less than ideal and the game plans do not get the most out of what they have. In several film breakdowns have shown JA not throwing to open guys that could have made big plays. So to blame talent alone is pretty weak. The biggest short comings this year has not been talent. Two losses came from teams with less talent, one from bad game management. Some of the injuries havent helped either.
  21. Thanks Obvious Man.
  22. Didn’t someone get hurt in a walk-through last week?
  23. I assume we’re still going full tilt in practice. Guys are getting worn down. At this stage of the season do we need as much contact practices or more walk - throughs?
  24. Didn't Steve DeBerg have a screw inserted in his pinky so he could play. He was QB of the Chiefs. Hand was all bloody.
