  1. Past hour
  2. In the Jags game, one of the Jag's TD's was a punt return, so that's not on the defense. Texans under Mills scored 26 points in the last 12 minutes to beat the Jags [last TD was the Lawrence fumble followed by the scoop and score]. With our defense, no lead is safe.
  3. To answer the title question. I’ve always said this. The Bills are a good enough where if they can get hot at the right time, they can win it all. Josh Allen is just too good. But this board will jump back on their throats if the Bills lose again.
  4. The last few months will be huge. If he turns a corner you keep him. If not I think you sell low.
  5. So if Cook rips off a 50yd run, is that small ball? Or if a TE catches a ball 20yds downfield out of heavy personnel, is that small ball? Or RB slipping out into the flat and taking it to the house, small ball? I think a lot of people assume that 12 and 13 personnel is small ball. How many times have we seen big plays out of this? I'd wager more than you think. Not saying you don't have a point, though. Allen needs to be unleashed. But if you think our offense is going to hold up to a team that has an excellent pass rush and an excellent backend, while running 4 WRs all game, you're going to be disappointed.
  6. This Bill Bruford kid might have a future.
  7. And the touchdown run isn't Poyer's responsibility. Obviously ultimately you want your safety capable of saving a touchdown there and making Tampa get it in from the 10 or something but the failure was on the 2nd level (think Milano) who misplayed his assignment.
  8. lol, maybe the "after long enough" disclaimer makes that somewhat true. Keon has played 22 games. Might want to check the sentiment on Oliver, Cook, and even Josh at that point. An of course Kincaid and Bishop were complete busts. We'll see how it turns out for Keon, but I'm pretty sure fan sentiment is not a leading indicator.
  9. On another note even the Chiefs players in alternate uniforms are not helping them with bad calls this season https://www.totalprosports.com/nfl/nfl-referees-association-unleashes-scathing-rant-destroying-fans-for-accusing-them-of-rigging-games-for-the-chiefs/
  10. Yeah, I don't fear Daniel Jones. Now Johnathan Taylor on the other hand...
  11. I want the Chiefs out of playoff contention ASAP, and losing to the Colts is another nail in their playoff coffin. Better Jones than Mahomes every day and especially on Saturdays or Sundays in the post season.
  12. I'm pretty sure Beane and McDermott were well aware he puts the ball on the turf from time to time. But he has speed that you cannot teach. There is a risk/reward with every player and they appear willing to take on Hardman's. He's not going to kill us. The Chiefs were able to win championship after championship with him on their roster. Good teams can overcome.
  13. Seems like most of that vaunted WR draft class is overrated. Harrison a possible bust. Odunze onderwhelming. Nabers great but bad career compromising injury. BTJ stunning collapse year two. Worthy - KC faithful see a possible bust, Pearsoll - we’ll give him a pass but not showing much. Polk Corley and Mitchell on second teams already. Burton an embarrassment. Ladd may be the only one of ten performing at least at his draft position.
  14. Ugh, I’m torn. Texans 41 Bills 29 Bills are down quite a few major players as McD decides to treat the TNF as a mini-bye to let people rest. The Texans defense continues to give the Bills fits, leading to multiple sacks and turnovers. Gabe gets his first touchdown, but the offense can’t get much going until garbage time.
  15. I see a game against Jax in which they gave up 29. Keep scoring and put the pressure on them. None of those offenses you mention have a QB close to Josh or are as balanced as what the Bills are showing they can be during games. Want to stop the pass? Cook and Josh will beat you with their legs. Want to stop the run, go see how that worked for TB. No D can stop both when you have a QB like Josh. The oline and Brady need to have a good game plan and be prepared. Buffalo is the only team that can beat the Bills.
  16. After Week 11... 1. Denver Broncos (9-2) Up 1 2. New England Patriots (8-2) Up 1 3. Indianapolis Colts (8-2) Down 2 4. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) n/c 5. Buffalo Bills (7-3) Up 1 6. Los Angeles Chargers (7-4) Down 1 7. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) n/c 8. Houston Texans (5-5) Up 1 9. Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) Down 1 10. Baltimore Ravens (5-5) n/c 11. Miami Dolphins (4-7) Up 1 12. Cincinnati Bengals (3-7) Down 1 13. Las Vegas Raiders (2-8) Up 1 14. New York Jets (2-8) Down 1 15. Cleveland Browns (2-8) n/c 16. Tennessee Titans (1-9) n/c Division Leader Wild Card
  17. Maybe not the pinnacle and certainly not infallible. I have long held the adage that if the fans are debating if you are good or if you suck after long enough, you probably suck. Nobody debates if Josh or Shakir or Cook sucks. Or guys like Rousseau or Oliver. We may debate if they are worth their contract or how “good” they are, but not if they are actually good or suck. But guys like Elam, Ford, EJ, Tyrod, etc etc and now Keon, we are debating if they are good or if they suck. And I’ve seen this play out too many times to completely discount that, despite it not being infallible.
  18. Well, without Keon, we are averaging 6 ppg better. Basically we really don’t need him, the pattern is the offense is always good without him.
  19. Wow, that's pretty damning, but definitely checks out with everything else we're hearing. Specifically with Dawkins calling him out. Usually guys dance around that stuff, but he was pretty blunt. I'd hate to have to cut bait on this guy, hopefully he gets it soon.
  20. It’s definitely improved, but we give up too many 3rd and longs for me to consider we have a dominant pass defense. Like I said, it’s not a glaring weakness but it’s also not a strength, either. It’s run of the mill imo.
  21. What’s McD going to say. Again this guy has a history of questionable plays and fumbling. He may finish out the season because we’re so thin at wideout but he’s definitely scary to have on the field.
  22. i know. i love florida, but it's pretty hard to argue that there was no reason at all for lifting the school mandates. no one was forcing your kids to get vaccinated. they just couldn't go to the public school system if they did. just like in ny. it was political, and not in the best interest of health.
  23. In 2023, he may not have been wrong. He was ROTY and Josh was throwing picks all over the place. He, quite obviously, jumped the gun.
  24. Pheasants aren't native birds. They were introduced in the late 1800s and early 1900s to establish populations in about 40 states, but changes in agriculture -- especially clearing hedgerows around small fields to create much larger fields -- has decimated those breeding populations, and so most birds used for hunting today are stocked birds. Pheasants need the brushy areas between small grain fields (wheat, oats, corn) for protection and nesting.
  25. Keep him around, use him on kick returns not punt returns. We need him to open up the passing game. Even as mainly a decoy, he serves a purpose.
