I mean that's fair. But getting mad at Terry specifically is kind of meh. A billionaire bought a yacht the way billionaires buy yachts, and he paid for a new stadium for his team in the same way. You can be upset at the system that has billionaires paying for stadiums with taxpayer money, but it's a little silly to be upset that the owner for your team wasn't dumb enough to be the only one not doing it.

People should read the article before making judgement. The "draft" makes the league a ton of money. If the players stop playing ball in the pre draft spectacle the NFL will lose money. None of these guys have contracts. It's basically NIL all over again with an entity profiting off you while not sharing the wealth. I don't think Shedeur wanted to play along. He treated the process as if he was doing the interviewing. Which is fine. The best employees do that all the time. Some might argue Sanders is not that and that is why he fell. Which could very well be true, but it could also be true that he pushed back against the "NFL way". Which we have seen historically has led to collusion, cover ups, and deception for the greater good. The almighty dollar. This story might have more legs than people think, I think.

I agree with you, but I don’t think there’s some congress of powerful people somewhere colluding in secret. I think any observant spectators realized that the circus was tanking his draft stock. A conversation here or there is not exactly collusion.

Every company in the world, including the one that pays me, makes business choices I don’t agree with. Were I to be bothered unduly by all of it, I would be better off trying to live in the woods. Thankfully, I am free to pick and choose who I purchase products from. That’s a very liberating feeling. Schick gets my shaving related money. All the while, I have no interest in trying to soft-scold anyone for supporting or not supporting any products or merchants they choose. I will leave that to others. Manning did interview well, then told SD to pound sand. He told them that he wouldn’t play for them and to trade him to the NY Giants. Sanders isn’t nearly a perfect prospect and he certainly messed up the pre draft process. But he never told any team he was above playing for them.

I totally agree and all that is true and good... The Bills were 9th in the NFL in QB Pressures in 2024. I'm as big an x's and o's football junkie as anyone. I love Cover 1...lol... But we can all just turn that stuff off and tap into our common sense when it comes to the Bills and how teams are going to continue to attack this Defense until they prove they can stop it... The ball is coming out fast on plays designed to exploit our zones and drops in the short passing game, and we are going to continue to see a ton of misdirection and screen plays... I think with that additions there should be no question the Bills are better upfront. But until they can solve what teams started figuring out about them in 2023, and got a little better at in 2024, this Defense will not improve like folks think it will. They have to tighten up the coverage vs the short and intermediate passing game to give those D-Linemen that extra second or two to get to the QB. A heathy Milano and Bernard for 17 games is a BIG key... But it's going to take that whole back 7...

A lot easier paying for your own stadium when you are in media market #1. Stan Kronke and Jerry Jones paid for their playpens but made their investments back relatively quickly. Not happening in WNY.
