  1. Past hour
  2. I'm not sure that the Bills "broke them", but they certainly exposed them: their defense isn't as good as it had been, especially their pass defense, and that was before all the injuries; their offense isn't all that potent if a team can force them out of their run game; and Harbaugh's play calling under pressure is suspect. That's a testament to how bad the Texans' offense is. Stroud has sucked behind the Texans' terrible OL. That's not true. The Ravens fans lost their original team, the Colts, when Robert Irsay, Sr moved the team to Indianapolis in 1983. IIRC, the move was rather stealthy: it wasn't publicly announced beforehand, and the moving vans rolled up, packed up the offices and equipment overnight or something like that. The Ravens didn't move to Baltimore until 1996 (after Art Modell screwed over the Cleveland fanbase), but that wasn't the fans' doing, it was the greedy owners'.
  3. He should wear out his welcome any day now in New England
  4. 10 points vs Cinci in the playoffs. And still kept his job!
  5. Yeah, I hope the fans don't boo Diggs. We aren't Philly fans are we? He was a great player for the Bills.
  6. You must be referring to the sombrero. What do you find racist about it?
  7. Then what point were you trying to make by going down the “Alfred Nobel was woke” path? That’s a rhetorical question. There clearly was no point. Just an opportunity to throw a jab. An incredibly weak one.
  8. What would Kirk say about the racist AI videos trump produces
  9. All those people waving their flags over there are the real baddies.
  10. Great cover shot. i’ll be buying a couple of copies; one for me and one as gift.
  11. I hope fans greet him warmly. We all know how it ended, but Diggs was a big part of the turn around. He didn’t have much tread left on the tires when it ended anyway, so it was best for both parties.
  12. Was so torn last Sunday. Ended up crossing the border and going to our 1 game of the year (maybe seasons next year, prices are crazy right now). Was a great game. We crossed early Saturday and spent the whole weekend in WNY. My girlfriend was over the moon to go to the Leveled Up store. Restaurants were world class as always. For any hockey fans in here, McDavid is looking at the fact that the Bills are a Superbowl favorite, Blue Jays a World Series favorite, (I’m a Canadiens fan myself) but if the Leafs get this guy, it’s another winner in the area. I’m just over here relivin’ my youth like
  13. I’m referring to myself, everyone always criticizes me for not being able to enjoy modern “music”. I’m saying you didn’t miss much. I believe you misinterpreted the statement.
  14. To play devils advocate… Lamar plays in a much harder division. The Bills are basically gifted 4 easy wins every season.
  15. Who said I am grumpy.. ? was just offering an opinion..
  16. I know you meant this as a joke, but Mr. Felser was such a kind man. He was good friends with my father who worked at the BN for 44 years. It was my college job, and paid for my bachelors degree at Oswego. My last year, I moved up from being a part time driver and hopper, to delivering inter-office mail. Yes, to my young friends, there was a time when there was no internet, so I took those Manila envelopes all day for 9hours roaming the halls dropping off people’s inter-office mail. It gave me an opportunity to get to know most of the employees in the building. Very fond memories of Mr. Felser, Van a couple of times, Murray Light , the editor, and even drove Stan Lipsey (the publisher) to the airport. Other than a trip down memory lane, I feel bad for my Dad who had work3d there from 17-61, minus his four years in the Navy during Korea. Now the BN is produced I believe in Ohio. What a waste, but digital media has taken over.
  17. RIP, I remember him well
  18. Too young for any human. Parents are not suppose to bury their children. Prayers for his family and friends. 😢
  19. I’m so sorry to read about this story. It’s my understanding he had a pre-existing heart condition, a congenital heart deformity, and I guess his implanted defibrillator, failed, and thus passes away so young. It’s terrible to hear, and his EP (electrophysiologist- basically a subset of an interventional cardiologist - they basically do the procedures for heart valves, pacers, and defibs) or his staff is supposed to interrogate (evaluate the battery life) the device so they know the battery life and if needed get approval to change out. It is a surgical procedure, but pretty common. Anyway, regardless something happened. Batteries don’t just typically die. Once the battery life gets down to a certain percentage, MHC has to approve a replacement. They are very very expensive, but lifesaving in many instances. Thats what makes this so terrible. He should’ve never passed at 39. I’m sorry for his family.
  20. Today
  21. agreed. the more defenses play to stop the 20+ yard pass the more we will run it with heavy personnel. take what they are pretty much giving you.
  22. Thanks for keeping us updated. The prayers will continue.
  23. When I visit WNY, there is a certain comfort sitting with the newspaper. There is absolutely nothing there of national or international import that wasn't reported 36 hours earlier online (plus Buffalo reporting is insanely biased), but the 15 minutes with a local newspaper in the area you grew up in is fun for the local nuggets you see relative to things from your past.
