  1. Past hour
  2. I know he was your favorite because of his edginess. You told us so. Don’t despair. Late night “comedy“ will be back bigly and soon enough. All my best to you as you seek out a suitably edgy replacement. The weenie on HBO seems like he might be your type. Keep me posted.
  3. I'd be cautious...Comey's lackeys at the DOJ/FBI leaked this as part of their partisan narrative control.
  4. What are the chances that we can get Chris Olave to defect to the Bills?
  5. Loser covers the winner's twobillsdrive subscription fees for 6 months!
  6. I watched it as well. The Patriots dominated the Steelers. No doubt they were sloppy. Two turnovers at the goalline and three others and they only lost by 7.
  7. Ya that's pretty much spot on. Like you said, if you don't want a 30 million dollar receiver that's a diva , fine I can get that . But should have thrown a day 2 pick at WR in my opinion or double dipped in 2024. Or like you said, Horton. Looked pretty damn good yesterday for Seattle
  8. I don’t see it happening. At least not until this deal goes through. https://www.thewrap.com/nexstar-tegna-merger-antitrust-fcc-paperwork-september/ Even then, there are many more actions at the fcc’s disposal to stop his return.
  9. If people think that the Bills have a "problem" with the passing game, then they can't exempt Allen from being part of the "problem" because he's been frequently throwing to check-down targets even when there were open options downfield. For myself, I don't think the Bills have a passing "problem" at all. On offense, they are the kind of team they want to be: efficient, methodical, conservative. They aren't going to sling the ball around just because they can. A team that rolls up 250+ passing yards in a single quarter against a defense as strong as Baltimore's doesn't have a "passing problem"; they simply choose not to do so except when they feel they need to do so.
  10. I know it is the NFL and you have to respect your opponent etc. etc., but the Saints are a level of bad that you just don't see anymore. There is no one on defense that you really have to worry about. Their special teams has been abysmal. They have okay offensive talent relative to the rest of the league but it's spearheaded by a QB who wouldn't even considered to be one of the better backups in the league. I honesty think we could run our preseason offense and defense and come away with a win in this one. I'd rest anyone who is even a little bit banged up and get some reps in for Landon Jackson and Jordan Hancock.
  11. I've had hearing aids for about 10 years now. In my case, I think the hearing loss is congenital. In elementary school I was told I had a high frequency hearing loss, and it has gradually worsened over the ensuing 65 years. I can hear low pitched sounds just fine, but without hearing aids everything else seems muffled. Most hearing loss is high frequency. It is important to know if yours is. That will affect what hearing aids actually work for you. Currently, mine are from Miracle Ear. They are OK but very expensive. They cost me close to $5,000 5 years ago. Service on them has been free, but that just ran out. When they break down, I'm going to try switching to a brand my current Medicare Advantage provider covers. The technology is improving all the time.
  12. I don't disagree too much with that. I'm not sure they want to "grind it out" I think that over eggs it - they are not a 3 yards and a cloud of dust team. But they definitely value efficiency over explosiveness on offense. Brandon Beane came from an organisation that didn't value receiver and hasn't valued receiver here. McDermott doesn't like divas, he likes "team guys" and I imagine the Diggs experience further embedded that view - and lots of WRs are divas. I predicted the day Beane was hired he would spend less draft capital on receivers than I would like him to and that has been pretty much the case. I wish they'd invest more in receiver in the draft. Even this year where I understand why it wasn't on the table in round 1 and I don't think it really fell that way on day 2... they still drafted a second IDL, a run blocking tight end, and a backup nickel corner in rounds 4 and 5 when there were explosive, developmental receivers on the board. I am not just saying it because he has popped early in the return game (I'm on record here as saying it at the time and in the aftermath of Beane's WGR interview) but Id have given up Hawes or Hancock and any of the 6th round picks to go up a few spots for Tory Horton. I think he has potential to be an impact player. Yep. And unless you are playing Dallas completing deep balls looks darn hard.
  13. Yup. Those are charities aligned with the NFL's interests, but still worthy on their own merits.
  14. It's true. Jimmy's Very Unfunny and Poorly Rated audience is the perfect lead-in!
  15. He was talking about actual grass, and then he turned it on Pat and joked about him liking "grass". It was purely a joke and he never once insinuated that he himself smokes pot. Sorry to burst your bubble. I would bet money that he does not.
  16. The worst thing is the Chargers are looking a little scary. The "good" column: Houston looks terrible and were a team who I thought would be an absolute menace in the weak division and with a rookie QB contract KC is 1-2 and doesnt look all that great. Has a number of tough games coming up. Cincinnati/Burrow injury. Bad Karma to call this "good", its unfortunate, but Cincinnati hates the Bills for whatever reason and always wants to kill them Patriots underperforming expectations Jets/Dolphins stinky A number of "tough" games on the schedule looking a few degrees more "gettable": Atlanta, Houston, Cincinnati, KC, maybe even Philly (although that is much later).
  17. Maybe they are really just trying to go after GMA. Did you know that Kimmel is a nice lead-in for that particular show that starts 6-7 hours later and that tv channels don’t change themselves when powered down? Don’t believe me? Ask C-Section.
  18. I think/ hope he's referring to Walker?
  19. Kimmel himself has been very quiet about all of this. I suspect there's some kind of cooling-off period and a behind the scenes negotiation about some kind of apology ("I'm sorry that I obviously offended some people ... that was never my intent ...") and a return to the air until his contract expires, with some kind of understanding about no jokes even tangentially related to Kirk. Why? Well, ABC/Disney probably don't want to be seen as fully bending the knee (or bending whatever) to Trump. I'll admit it's a total guess. They could be negotiating a buyout instead ...
  20. I knew who Poyer was, and that he had a serious injury with Cleveland. I'd seen him play a few times and thought he was decent, but could not believe the contract we gave him. I was very wrong about him.
  21. The schedule makers want to prove once and for all that Miami is a bad team, for the maybe 200,000 Americans that don't realize it.
  22. Kind of hilarious we are squabbling about 420 yards a game and 34 points a game while this is also true...
  23. Maybe I'm naive but I thought Josh was talking about turf and Pat was talking about something else. Though I do think Josh was entirely aware of the double entendre from the beginning. I got confused on some other interview show when the nutz jokes popped up. Had no idea what was going on until someone explained. You may be right but over the years, I've encountered people whose vices (or lack of them) were very different than you'd expect. I wouldn't say anything "for sure" unless I knew the individual personally.
  24. Kevyn Adams need some extra help? 🤔
