  1. Past hour
  2. Jackson isn't a top QB. On paper he gets there and he does play well but the illusion is wearing thin. Mahomes is doing all he can with no one on offense and a mid OL. He's still top 8... Maybe 10 Burrow is as elite as ever but his availability is not right QB's don't face each other disirregardless.
  3. This isn’t “background checks” this is MAGA reading your social media to make sure you only say good things about Trump. As usual, your hypocrisy knows no bounds. What a miserable existence you must have!
  4. - Bills win the Division: 20% - Bills in: 92% - Bills out: 8% I'm assuming by in and out you are referring to the playoffs.
  5. I do think some of that final bengals drive was bishop cramping but he could certainly cramp up down the stretch again lol
  6. Yeah, I believe they can change the screw-in cleats, but even that would be a major undertaking while youre in the middle of a game.
  7. From Roundy's greatest hits compilation: There are no Tren de Aragua gang members in Colorado apartment complexes. If there were then the National Guard would be there. - roundy
  8. Stafford's story book time came when he won a SB after joining the Rams. He's statistically (other than yards) better this year, but there's no new angle to his story at this point.
  9. “Doing background checks on foreigners who want to enter your country is exactly the same thing as arresting your own citizens for social media posts.”
  10. Yeah, like I said you just made the mistake of trying to put Cooks season in context of ypc to add gravity to it. Kinda' like that famous post Alphadawg created where he tried to tell us how we didn't realize how great Khalil Shakir was and threw in a nugget telling us that if you projected his 2023 yards per target figure over 100 targets that Shakir would have had 1360 yards. Of course, he forgot the context of Shakir being the 4th option in the passing game and the impact of teams doubling Diggs. So the next season plays out with Shakir now as a top 2 option in the pass game and no Diggs...... Shakir actually got exactly 100 targets and had like 800 yards. 😂 It just wasn't necessary if you just want to say "that's a lot of yards" as opposed to being like "I'm just sayyyying" that this is the 3rd greatest season by a Bills RB. I get that people want to find joy in the numbers of today but we don't have to compare very different era's to do that. Just look at where Cook is relative to his peers. He's got a good chance to leading the NFL in rushing. That would be a great accomplishment for a guy who wasn't perceived to be in that category as a rugged RB1.
  11. i guess if youn want to eliminate the 0-2 start, they might look a little jotter.. But we all know the narrative of the Chiefs coiong into the Bills game wasn't "this is one of the hottest teams in the NFL", it was "what's wrong with the Chiefs?". This has proven to be the real Chiefs for this year as they will miss the playoffs and the Offense looks totally lost. Hey--looks like you can now put Phil Rivers in your top 4 "current" QBs! Well played!
  12. You need to read further, young person. It’s not enough to read the top of a tweet thread and view it as gospel. The person you are eager to quote, Heidi, followed up with this “oh” tweet: Here is what you call “another smear campaign”: In 2014, Celis was accused in 3rd District Juvenile Court of a second-degree felony allegation of sexual abuse of a child, according to a court filing obtained by The Tribune on Tuesday. Another allegation is redacted in the filing. The document alleges that between March 1, 2014, and April 30, 2014, when he was 17 years old, Celis abused a girl who attended his ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake County. Try to be more savvy on occasion and please consider giving the taxpayers some value for their money today. Playing on the internet is not providing value.
  13. Next stop, politics. There's probably quite a few willing to vote for him...if just to get him out of OBD.
  14. The issue was probably that Allen was the obvious OPOW. They don’t like giving both awards to one team so the #2 choice got the DPOW award. Benford would have gotten the award if not for his offensive teammate’s exploits.
  15. is it certain that if we win out and the pats split w the dolphins that we win the division? It goes to like the 3rd or 4th tie breaker in that case. obv, if we win out and they drop to the fins and ravens, we get the division, and frankly i think that's sort of out best (or only) shot. I will say, depending on who wins the south in the case where we don't win the east (jax or hou or maybe even indy) and who else ends up as a wild card, there seems to be a fairly good chance that we will be the only wild card winner week one (say if we are at pittz, which i think is most likely). that means that if the pats are the number one seed, they come off of a bye and host us. a young upstart team like that, especially a vrable coached one cuz he got his titans beat by cincy when they were the 1 seed a few years back, they have a real risk of peaking early and being one and done in the playoffs. i really want the 1 seed/division, but beating the pats as a wild card when they are the 1 seed to travel to denver for the afc chip sounds like the easiest path for our team to a chip BY MILES since we've gotten josh allen. ragged pittz team, not ready net pats team, and then bo nix and the broncos even if all on the road is a good script. only the pats out of all of them can stop the run, and they can't even slow down kinkaid, and we have the much better and more experienced qb (save rogers, but he's cooked). i also don't think we get out coached in those games like we have vs ried in past. in the nfl imo it's green bay or the rams. i'd rather play the rams if we got that far, i think gb is a bad match up for us, but at that point i'd be ready for all comers.
  16. wait so every team w an elite QB is now struggling and we are doing the best...and somehow Beane is a big hindrance? how does that add up
  17. Blitzing Burrow and those WRs is basically begging to be blown out. You gotta be real picky when doing that This is the NFL. You’re gonna have a good defense unless you have a good pass rush. The Bills simply do not have the horses to have a good pass rush. There’s no way to get around that
  18. McDermott has become well versed at not really answering questions while answering questions.
  19. “When I contacted local ICE public information officers, they could not confirm the allegations. A search of Utah’s state court system also found no such criminal history, only a citation for texting and driving in 2024.” Another smear campaign. Because MAGA is fundamentally a racist, backwards ideology.
  20. That might be the perfect example as to why opening day can be deceiving.
  21. They credit Adolf Dassler with giving the German team a win in the 1954 FIFA World Cup, as he had provided them with soccer shoes with removable cleats, that could be swapped out for various field conditions. I'm not sure what they're using nowadays, what with synthetic turfs, and the wide range of molded or replaceable cleats.
  22. My only guess at trying to excuse this is that there's inexperience with Babich in his resume to account for what to expect on these scripted plays in the beginning and relying on a good scouting report. If the case is simply that he does not have good information to bases defensive scheme on there could be reason if you would come out on prepared. Of course with McDermott being the head coach and specializing in defense I don't give much weight to that because I can't imagine McDermott just letting him go solo on this Sure when it comes down to our loss in the playoffs and the defense once again letting us down make tournament will put soul blame on him. But the reality is that there's a very small excuse window for why we come out so poor
  23. All those stats are very nice, except it’s the TEs/RBs that are more productive in terms of Yards per catch, yards per attempt, TDs and chunk plays. Josh has thrown to 9 WRs (218 targets) this season with 8 making catches (147 receptions for 1694 yards). That’s a 67.4% completion %, a 11.5 yards per catch and 7.77 yards per attempt. Josh has thrown to 8 TEs and RBs (156 targets) with all 8 making catches (121 receptions for 1443 yards). Thats a 77.6% completion %, a 11.9 yards per catch and 9.25 yards per attempt. This group also leads 12 TDs to 10 with 6 different TEs/RBs catching a TD pass to only 4 WRs. 3 of the 4 longest passing plays have gone to Kincaid, Cook and Johnson. Slot receiver Shakir has the other. Last I looked the RBs and TEs were supposed to be the safety blankets, not the primary downfield threats. If the WRs were so good, why has Beane brought in during the season Cooks, Davis and Hardman while releasing Moore? Injuries are a factor, but so ineffectiveness. Face it, the strength of our passing attack is Cook, Johnson, Kincaid, Knox and Hawes. Shakir is having a down year, and the boundary wide outs aren’t good.
  24. That’s what it’s gonna be unless the Bills can manufacture a blue chip pass rusher in the next week. Beane and McDermott came up with a plan to come after offenses with waves of pressure from different spot using really good but not elite pass rushers (since getting a true blue chip is cost prohibitive or requires a top 10 pick). in Ed Oliver, Joey Bosa, and Michael Hoecht. Now Groot is worth his weight in gold as a run defender but just an above average pass rusher. We added some of interesting pieces in the rookie class for depth as well. The problem? Oliver and Hoecht are gone for the season. Bosa was having a pretty good year and now injured. Heck the bills even lost Landon Jackson for the season. They have rookie TJ Sanders - a DT - playing freakin EDGE. Around week 7, when I saw what Hoecht could be, I thought the ceiling for the defense was a top 5 defense. Just a real shame how injuries truly knifed this defense
