Los Angeles under military attack

If one has Prime Video, one can watch three local L.A. TV stations for up to the minute news. -

I thought that if Cook came to mini-camp it meant he would play out his contract and then depart in free agency. Now that he has reported, I still think it is a long shot that any other outcome happens. There is a slim chance, I would guess that the Bills can work out some kind of deal. The Buffalo Mews is suggesting a two-year bridge deal. I'm happy with whatever might keep him a Bill. We'll see.

They want to supersede the federal authority Trump has to send ICE in and detain criminals. States rights don’t allow rogue governors or mayors to harbor criminal activity. Everything we’re seeing right now is due to that catalyst. -

Joey Bosa is going to need someone his age to talk to while he is standing on the sideline in his jeans all year. So this is perfect! -

He tore it on 9/30/24. It will be over 11 months come Week 1. Modern medical Achilles rehabilitation in the NFL has made leaps and bounds from the old days. It used to be a Full Year or more. In recent years, we've seen guys return much quicker than that. I think it's very likely he's ready to roll Week 1. -
Ace Ventura (The first. The second was so bad) The Fighter Clerks 2 Full Metal Jacket Batman/Batman Returns (Nothing will hold a candle to Tim Burton/Keaton) Honorable mentions: Juice, Pulp Fiction, Beer League)

LB's seem to age similar to RBs. I would still say old is accurate. -

Was a pretty good athlete coming out of college. Smallish and athletic like McDermott seems to like them. Biggest issue is he carries the same injury concern as Milano. Can he stay healthy? He's played six games total in the last two seasons and he's coming off an Achilles issue suffered last October. It's hard to imagine he's completely recovered this soon. My guess is the Bills will be hoping he could be available by mid-season if necessary and not suffering from the long-term effects of a bad Achilles too much by then. -

Yeah but when you're response is effectively "***** it", especially with regard for federal personnel and property, you can reasonably expect higher authority to weigh in. -
Hmm...not sure who that would've been. My mind went to Manny Lawson maybe? He was around in the Rex era but I think he played for the Niners before the Bills.

Could go the free agent route next offseason. This is probably a big year in terms of evaluation for Williams. -
Buffalo Joe gonna play his way into the lineup this season?

I was very harsh in that response and I'm sorry about that. I have a lot of good friends who are religious, most my family is, most people I know are. I don't care that they pick that path and never disparage it as it's very personal to them. To answer your question of course it is needed but morality comes from a lot of places. If you require religion to provide it or think that is the only path to it I think that is a mistake (not saying you feel this way). I have met completely immoral people who believe in god or say they do (without showing any indication that is the case). Who use religion to manipulate or pursue self fulfilling agendas (sound like anybody we know?). I see very limited connectivity between somebody who is moral and somebody who says they're religious. Some are, some aren't. I generally accept all of them. Even the immoral ones as who am I to judge how they arrive at such a place. You can only hope they improve as people. All of this aligns more with the left even if I don't fully identify with them. I never saw the left as trying to limit who people were or minimize others. They try and impose the acceptance of people on the fringe of society and the right doesn't want that. Religion often tells them not to or at least the interpretation they have of it does. Which I often think is just a justifiable way to be a bigoted. -

at first I was wondering “why would McDermott, the Bills head coach, be going into detail about what he thinks of one of the Panthers’ players?” Then it dawned on me… he was still the Carolina DC at the time! -
and by aggravation he may mean participating fully in camp

Allen throws three interceptions.... Rocky's coach was right: women weaken legs. QB play is all foot work 😆
-
Maybe he shouldn't have spent so much time planning and participating in a wedding an more time practicing! 😁 Yeah!

Unionize Buffalo Starbucks? 😂
K D replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Starbucks implementing AI Unionizing a min wage job? I hope these people don't play chess. They obviously can't think more than 1 move ahead. What did they think would happen when high school dropouts are demanding a "living wage" for a job any idiot could do (including a robot). FAFO
